Very Central Complex
This property is ideal to use as a base for travelling and sight seeing. However there is no private balcony which will accommodate even two sun loungers. The door seen in the photos is the only door into the apartment and the balcony is not private as anyone has access to it. It is on the end so there shouldn't be anyone walking past but the neighbour next door used as much of the balcony as she dared to dry her clothes with her drier extending over our door space. Also the neighbour's small dog barked when there was anyone moving around and was not fully under control at times. We understood from talking to residents that no pets are allowed on the complex.
In September the small balcony at the back of the property caught a small amount of sun early morning but not at any other time. This is only big enough for one sun lounger and a small table and chairs.
We were disappointed with the rental and maybe we should have examined the details and photos more closely.
The villa could have been cleaner particularly the bathrooms which could do with a deep clean.
We had a few issues at the start of our holiday with a number of things not working and after texting the property carers about them their response was immediate and problems fixed very quickly.
Fine for a week of sun
We stayed in August and wanted an apartment walking distance to Paphos town centre and the beach which would cater for 6 of us, my parents, my two children and my husband and I. The booking and communication with Graham was excellent. We had an issue with the TV connection when there and contacted Graham, and also his agents in Cyprus directly, and they came over the next morning. By this point we had been in the apartment for about 9 days and had only been issued with one thin bath towel and hand towel each so were doing a lot of washing. My parents mentioned this to the agent and they then gave us more, which were much more fluffy and absorbent towels than our original ones, which they kept locked in the bedroom cupboard. We mentioned the lack of pillow cases to change the beds as we had only been supplied with a set of sheets so had to wash these too as the weather was so hot. We found the apartment roomy enough for us, however it was quite old with tired furniture and a very squeaky double bed. We were disappointed with the amount of clutter in the wardrobes, such as paint rollers, people’s left over flip flops, flippers, and plastic pool toys in a bag covered in paint from the roller which took up a whole shelf and also all the pool loungers were stored in every wardrobe so you had to empty them to actually unpack your suitcases the wardrobes were also a bit dusty and grubby. The pool was fine, just no greenery or shade unfortunately unlike the pool you can see in the apartment complex opposite. We personally weren’t fans of the walk as there were lots of uneven pavements and included crossing a 4 lane dual carriage way which was not pleasant. It was just boring with lots of empty scrubland and quite a lot of rubbish which wasn’t pleasant and felt very long in the heat, it was more like 20 mins in the midday heat. This probably wouldn’t bother some people but my parents in their 70’s found it exhausting. We liked Paphos and made the most of the beach, and restaurants, we didn’t have a bad meal which was great, and we also visited Limassol which was lovely, but we as a family would personally prefer to be closer to amenities and be in a prettier complex, but it was fully furnished so was great if you wanted to cook etc.
The apartment is exactly as described on homeaway .. There were sun shades in the cupboards when I was last there.. If there are none I will of course replace them.
Cyprus is a hot place in summer and the walk down to the seafront is again as in property description, there is a Pelican crossing just to the left of where our road meets the main road..
In fourteen years of letting property out have never received any of these adverse comments.. I will of course pass these on to our property managers to see what improvements it is possible to achieve.
Lovely apartment and good location
Had a great 10 days staying here. Everything thing you needed was in the apartment. The shared pool was smallish but never crowded and you had your own sun beds to take down. It’s located in a quiet area and was about a 15min walk in to the centre of Paphos. There is a bus stop opposite the apartment which will take you in to the centre and harbour area for €1.50 each. Nice bar opposite the apartment called ‘Pambis diner’ and does lovely food there fair play. All in all would recommend staying here. And great communication with the owner.
We loved this apartment it was clean spacious ,20 minutes to the harbour
We went in November the weather was still 24/25 degrees we had an amazing time bought a long term bus ticket and would recommend this Car is not essential bus service is good
Owners where very accommodating and new they had another person on site if needed “ not that we did”
Great location to explore Paphos and the western side of Cyprus
The flat fits four very comfortably and could accommodate six. Two bathrooms helps a lot! Well-equipped with water gear and sun chairs, the flat provides guests with ample ammunition for the complex's pool, which is just across the parking lot, and the nearby beaches.Best of all is the flat's location. You are within an easy walk to anywhere in downtown Kato, the water side of Paphos -- the boardwalk, the shops, the restaurants, the bars and arcades, the historic sites, anthropological diggings, the pelican that has lived among the waterfront restaurants for two decades. Paphos is a great jumping off point for other western Cyprus sites and hikes.
Good location...had everything we needed
Clean, plenty of hot water, helpful neighbor downstairs (Tony). Outside neighbors included many birds, a donkey that brayed in the morning, a few chickens, doves, and a talkative Tucan bird at the restaurant across the street. Master bedroom had a view of a swimming pool with lots of pretty flowers and birds singing. The next door neighbor is a permanent resident and has a small dog that barks a lot. Maybe buy a fan to help drown out the noise. Stayed 2 1/2 months. Overall, I would likely stay there again.
