Outdoor Space:
Access to the swimming beach is on the lot adjacent to the home and is the property of the home owner. It's a quiet, shared beach with the one neighboring cottage (1 min walk to beach). Swimming area bottom is a mix of sand and stone, water shoes preferred. Great for kids as it offers a shallow, gradual depth change.

Enjoy beautiful Lost Lake views from this relaxing cottage with modern amenities in the centrally located northwoods town of Sugar Camp! Built in 2014 on the grounds that used to be Running's Campground, guests will enjoy the quiet lake. New in 2025, a 7'x8' cedar barrel sauna with an electric stove for easy relaxation for 4 adults!
Bring or rent paddleboards and kayaks--this is the perfect lake for them. While the lake allows motors, there's no traffic on this lake. If you want some hustle and bustle, the Three Lakes Chain and Sugar Camp Chain are a close drive and there's room to bring your boat and trailer in the driveway.

In the winter months, enjoy a fresh northwoods snowfall, head out to the lake to for some ice fishing or hit the trails with your snowmobile. Snowmobile trails are located less than 1/8 mile from the cabin with easy access to the trails. Come home and enjoy a relaxing sauna!

Rhinelander, Three Lakes, and Eagle River are all within 15 minutes drive.

Sleeping Accommodations:

Parking:
Ample parking in front of the house with room for a boat trailer

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels.
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties or other rowdy gatherings.
