The location of the house on the southern slope below a forest is quiet with views of the valley and the mountains. A fountain splatters up at the house. The apartment is heated with wood. The living room has a sandstone stove. In the village there is a coop store with a post office and a restaurant. There are other shops in Schwarzenburg or Riggisberg, which are each less than 10 km away. The nearest post bus stop is in the village, just under 10 minutes on foot, with connections to Schwarzenburg and Riggisberg. Nevertheless, a car to explore the environment (nature park Gantrisch, Bernese Oberland and French-speaking Switzerland) is recommended. The apartment is ideal as a contrast to the city life. A dense network of hiking trails provides the connection u. a. to the nature park Gantrisch ago, in the summer there is in the proximity a rope park (Längeneybad) as well as a swimming pool (Eywald). The nearest ski lift is Rüschegg-Eywald (just under 4 km). The small but fine apartment shows that Switzerland can be affordable.
