I have poured a lot of love and dedication into this house. It is spacious, modern and comfortable, besides the 4 bedrooms there is a massive living room with TV and sound system, music library, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, work space/office, outdoor patio, BBQ grill and hotpot. I cannot list of type of hotpot we have at this property via VRBO's available choices but this is a very common type of outside hot tub in Iceland, it is filled with geothermal heated water.

We are in a calm neighborhood, near the geothermal pools, great supermarket open 24/7 and just a few minutes drive from Reykjavík, lots of bus stops around as well if you need that option.

Great neighborhood. Perfect for our family

Great location near many convenient services. Quiet. Easy communication with the owner. Plenty of room for my entire family. I would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem!!

My friends and I went to Iceland for the first time and had a fantastic time here. The owner, Stefan, was the nicest and most welcoming host we have ever met, and he personally came to greet us and show us around the house. He gave us some invaluable tips on what to see and do in the area, and he was always ready to help us with anything we needed. He also let us have early check-in and late check-out, which was very convenient and helpful for us. The house itself was a dream come true, with a stunning design and a lot of personality. It was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was within walking distance of many stores and restaurants, so you could easily explore the local culture and cuisine. We spent hours looking for the right place to stay and we are so happy we came across this hidden gem. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation in Iceland. Thank you Stefan for your hospitality! We already know where we will be staying the next time we visit Iceland :)

Iceland = bucket list

My husband's family came with us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Iceland has been a bucket list location for both me and my mother-in-law, so we were very happy with the location of this property. It was very easy to travel back and forth to the main city/downtown and there was a 24hr gocery store literally around the corner within walking distance. The propert suited the 6 of us just fine, though some of the rooms don't have a designated place for luggage/clothes stoarage, but we managed just fine. I will recommend that if you book really early from the time of your stay, to reach out to the owner just to reconfirm any special arrangements you have made as we had a few hiccups with our check-in, but it still worked out very well. All-in-all we had a wonderful time and the property was great for what we needed.

This property is great for any large family or group visiting Reykjavík, we are in Garðabær, just a 10-12 minute drive from downtown Reykjavík. This property is central to many interesting activities but it is also in a calm neighborhood so you know you will have much deserved peace and quiet after each day trip or night out.

The house is spacious and has great light and good energy. You will feel right at home when you are here.
