Property was excellent. Spacious in and out, nice big space for outdoor activities. Happy Hour on deck by the river every night. Fire pits and wood available. We enjoyed little Grand Canyon and Kinzua Bridge. Covered wagon ride thru bottom of canyon was good for us old people, as was the hot tub. Wonderful stay in upper PA. Thank you.

all 4 adults enjoyed our stay , place is clean and very well equipped. we sat for hours on the deck above the creek and took in the fresh air. Check in was easy as it comes and we enjoyed the cringle left for us. We went to the Lumber museum, Kinzau bridge and spent the whole day in Welsboro, All were very worthwhile. Thanks a Bunch!!

Everything and then some! Photos don’t show the magnificence of the house, location, and property. I’ve stayed in other rentals where things like pots and pans were scarce, this place includes anything you could need.Hummingbirds love to visit!

Wonderful property. Home is stocked with everything you can need. Great location. The yard is huge!! Hot tub was great to enjoy after the long hikes and biking at the PA Grand Canyon. It was nice to have campfires in the evening. My family had a great time. Definitely recommend this property!

The house was very clean, lovely quiet location (besides road noise), definitely enough room for 8 or more people. This house had everything you needed to come and stay, all you need is food and clothes. Owner was very responsive and kind. Danish on the table when you walked in. Felt very welcomed. Beautiful big back yard that leads to the next deck and creek. Two fire pits were a hit! Adults and kids enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time at Lodge at the pines property! House was clean and cozy. Kitchen was stocked with spices and had everything we needed. Special touches from the owner made it perfection like a pastry on table when we arrived. Deck by the creek was especially great! Lovely view of Pine Creek. We even saw a deer drinking the first evening. Location was great. Within minutes of shops and Galeton if we needed something from the grocery store. Looking forward to coming back!

Booked this rental for out of town family. Super clean and well equipped, lots of spices, coffee, cup, Keurig, stove stop kettle, dishes, plastic wrap, paper towels, tp, lots of towels, soap, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, everything. The access is any easy entry keypad. The only things we noticed were that the outside light would blink on and off, maybe it needed changed or it’s a sensor thing? The lights on the creekside deck didn’t work, probably bc one of the solar panels was broken? And lastly the hot tub was down, the owners let us know right away, but it was not able to be fixed and didn’t not have use of it for our stay. My family loved the house and plan to return.

Will stay there again!

We had a fabulous stay. There was a welcome danish and a nice note when we walked in. The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was a little chilly outside so we didn't get to utilize the fire pits or the deck overlooking the river. We did walk down and check it out and the pit down there was fully stocked of wood. The dogs loved running and playing in the huge back yard. There was plenty of room inside to hang out and we had plenty of room to not hang out as well. Barb was great and informative and responded to my many many questions quickly. We already discussed going back up this way to do the river again in the near future and will definitely be re-booking.

Great place!!

Super clean, furnished with everything you could possibly need! Rooms were good sizes and comfortable. Easy check in/out. Huge backyard and lovely porch especially since it rained the whole time. Highly recommend!

Girls trip

We had a wonderful time staying at this little ranch home. It was clean, cozy, plenty of room and a beautiful backyard view. There are two fire pits and two decks. One of the decks is down along the creek and offers birding opportunities and creek side vibes and views. At the end of the evening we really enjoyed taking a soak in the hot tub. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to have a nice little peaceful getaway.

Property is unhabitable due to poor water, do not book here!

My wife and I rented this property for the weekend and we arrived Friday with a nice welcoming note and all appeared wonderful. The property was very clean and appeared as advertised. After a day sightseeing and hiking on the trails we enjoyed the hot tub and wondered down to the deck overlooking the stream.The deck was inaccessible due to fallen trees that appear to have down for some time. Deck furniture was knocked over and there was tree debris all around. We may have been the first rental of the season. We wanted to shower at the end of the day and found the water completely unusable due to a strong odor of sulfur or other chemicals. Since we were only staying one more night I waited until the next day to contact the owner to inform them of our issues with the water and general lack of preparation around the property.The owners responded that they were aware of the water issues and installed a filter and water softener to address the problem. The water filter looked filled with dirt and has not been cleaned/changed in some time. I was told by the owners that they do not cook with or drink the water!How is this place able to be listed with a history of poor water quality that even the owners won't use?Changing the filter may have helped our issue but we had a reservation, no attempt was made to check the filter or deck area ahead of time. Very poor service from the owners and property maintenance provider.We have contacted VRBO about a refund.

We visited the area for a special event and love the area. Home was very clean and beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed the Hot Tub for sure. Just an amazing property.
