If you're looking for a place to stay on your next Smoky Mountain getaway, Grand Ole Chalet has been designed and outfitted to make your vacation great! You will have access to all of Chalet Village's amenities. With level parking right at the front door, there'll be some wows when your group opens the front door. A thoroughly updated great room greets you, with a modern kitchen showcasing a long bar seating seven front and center. The heavy timber ridge beam over the living room flies across the space to meet a window wall letting in plenty of natural light. A massive stone fireplace promises cozy nights.

With 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 bedroom downstairs — with a mix of 1 king and 2 queen beds — as well as 2 sets of twin-over-twin bunks, Grand Ole Chalet sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably. There are three full baths as well so guests have plenty of options when it's time to get ready for town or hit the slopes at Ober. If staying in is the plan, you've got ample seating outdoors on the two decks, with a dining table and lounge adjacent to the gas fire table, a two-person swing, gas barbecue, and a hot tub for some bubbly fun.

When it's playtime, your crew will have fun on the foosball table, throwing darts, or playing arcade games on the Legends Ultimate console. The kids will have their own zone downstairs to enjoy while the adults mix above. Anytime is a good time to catch wooded and partial Smoky Mountain views, and Grand Ole Chalet's decks don't disappoint, especially in winter when the leaves are down. October at Grand Ole Chalet offers a blazing display of color from the abundant hardwoods.

Great cabin in a great location!

This rental was prefect for our family and in a great location. The management company was easy to deal with and the weekend was perfect! We even got to see a few bears!

Perfectly located!

Great location to everything in Gatlinburg. We got to see the bears! Great outside space. We celebrated a birthday and really enjoyed the cabin. The commutation with the host was great!

Wonderful Property and Location

We had plenty of room for two families with children. Property was exactly as described. Everything was clean and in working order. Fantastic location. Communication with property managers was best I have experienced, and we go to Gatlinburg every year.

Family Vacation

The place was nice, smaller then we thought. The downstairs bedroom does get toasty. The roads are curvy and hard to see but your going up a mountain so it’s expected and the view is beautiful.

great time

great view 2 out of the 4 days got to see Bears! Do keep doors on car locked the bears do know how to open them moma bear opened my car and cub climbed in and took my son's gum.(thank God we took everything else out the night Before.) We enjoyed the time there and loved how close to Gatlinburg it was.

Grand Ole Chalet

We had a great time at the cabin! Plenty of room for all 9 of us! We did have 6 bears come onto the property throughout the week, and 1 large one got into our vehicle. That was pretty scary. We would add ceiling fans in the bedrooms, to help cool them down. The beds were very comfortable! The deck is in need of repair. The grill was the perfect size! Would recommend to others!

Fun Bachelorette Weekend

There were 6 of us staying for the weekend to celebrate my sister's upcoming wedding. The cabin was just so beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed sitting around the island eating our breakfast and sitting in the hot tub the evening. The location was perfect, just far enough away but still close to town. And yes, we had a black fluffy visitor take a look in one of the cars and left a nose print on her dash, luckily there was no damage, but we then made extra sure that all the cars were locked. The only concern I have is there was a good size hole in the decking beside the hot tub, but I did notice several new boards, so I just assume renovation is in process. Also, the water hose was laid out down the side steps, which could be a hazard, I would suggest making sure it was rolled up. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Get-Away

We loved our stay at the Grand Ole Chalet. Management was easy to get in touch with and very quick and responsive. Since the home is nestled in the mountains, you have to be very careful driving to the home. Roads are steep and narrow. It is very close to Gatlinburg and all the activities. Beds we very comfortable. I thought there was a pull out couch bed/futon but there wasn't so if you counting on this for sleeping beware. Hot tub was very nice and we saw plenty of bears! One (baby) came on the lower deck! It was a great experience overall!

(Mostly) terrific!

Overall, we were happy with this cabin. Be aware that there are NO included amenities! Bring everything!! We had to go to grocery store for trash can liners and dishwasher pods. They did include a one day supply of both but that was it. Other items we expected to supply but the inclusion of these seem pretty standard in most Vrbos. Also, there were no tables/chairs for outdoor dining on deck. This was a disappointment. Other than that, the location was great and we got to see bears!

Family Vacation

Property was nice. Very well equipped with kitchen items. Plenty of bears to see. Hot tub needs to be cleaned and cover needs to be replaced. We were left with about 4 minutes of propane.

Relaxing Stay

We had a great time at this property. We came during easter weekend as a little getaway. Unfortuantly the weather prevented a lot of our in town activites, but the stay at the cabin offset any disappointments. The hotub we relaxing, plentiful games to play, and tvs to sit and enjoy. We highly recommend and would come back to stay again!
