Downtown Hideaway in the Heart of Moab #2

The Space:
Center Street Suite #2 is a lovely, centrally located spot to spend your vacation. This suite is much bigger than most hotel rooms, has its own entrance from the street with a private patio area and is very quiet. The bath features a large walk-in shower, oversized vanity and the essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc.) The suite has a king size bed and spacious closets For your enjoyment a flat screen smart TV with WIFI streaming apps are available. The mini kitchen has a fun, retro styled, fridge and microwave, plus a coffeemaker and dishes, enough for simple food prep if you don't feel like going out to one of our many great local eateries within walking distance for take out or dine-in with indoor and outdoor seating.

Check for current Arches National Park entrance requirements before visiting on the National Park website. Reservations for Arches National Park are needed at some points during the year. You might spend your day in the National Parks, go rafting on the Colorado River, walk or ride bikes on the hundreds of miles of trails close by, or just relax with a good book. A short walk from our spot will take you to restaurants, shops, spas, bookstores, musical events and city parks. A visit to any of the great bike shops or the Moab Information Center (one block away) will give you all the info you need for a fantastic Moab adventure. Everything is close at hand from this location on Center Street, one block from Main in downtown Moab.

Whether you want to visit the parks, participate in action sports, or just relax, this property is a hidden treasure.

You will enjoy convenient and secure access to the unit thanks to our keyless entry system. Prior to check-in, guests will receive a unique access code that will allow them to enter the unit without the need for physical keys. This code will be sent prior to your arrival on the booking platform and/or email allowing you to plan your trip with a hassle free and seamless arrival experience.

The Neighborhood:
Another great feature of this unit is its location - just a short 2- minute walk from downtown Moab! Once on main street, you'll enjoy easy walking to some of the best restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment in town. Wake up to fresh coffee from Moab Coffee Roasters or grab a bite to eat at the nearby cafes like Moab Garage Company, Doughbird or the famous Jailhouse Cafe before heading out to explore the stunning natural landscapes that Moab is known for. Speaking of natural landscapes, this unit is just a 5-minute drive from Arches National Park and only 30 minutes from both Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park. The scenic drive to each of these parks is not to be missed.

Hi! Here is a picture of the owner, Kimberly. Kim is the Executive Director of the Moab Trails Alliance and in that capacity planned and helped build many of the non-motorized trails in the Moab area. Check out the bike/pedestrian bridge across the Colorado River and the paved path system that links downtown Moab to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks as well as many popular BLM sites.

While living in Moab from 1987 to 2018 I watched and helped this community change immensely. Besides Moab Trails Alliance, my other business was the walk-in camppark for tents only, Up the Creek Campground. There is no other campground like it in town. 132 E Center, AKA the Center Street Condos, is a unique property that was remodeled from a derelict building two blocks from Main Street. It houses 2 hotel style suites with outdoor patio seating on the the front side of the building and another deluxe and distinctly different condo property in the back with a fantastic private oasis garden.

Everything in town is within walking or biking distance. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is wonderful! When you're ready, walk downtown and find your favorite restaurant. There are plenty to choose from, anything from sushi at Sabaku (Yes it is good!) to other fine dining including the Desert Bistro. The galleries are loaded with wonderful local artist's work, some of them internationally known, like Tom Till's photography or Serena Supplee's canyon scenes. The music festivals, classical or folk, are first class as well as any theater put on by the very talented local pool of actors. These events take place in historic Star Hall, right across the street from the Center Street Suites. Be sure to read the Moab Happenings for the month you will be visiting to not miss out!
