Dy Flowers is a lovely property set in beautiful gardens in a small, quiet village. The property is very well equipped for self catering, and is clean, well-maintained, and homely. Bedding and towels are provided which saves packing space. We were made really welcome by Mme Burnel, and enjoyed the little extras in the fridge (Normandy cider, of course!), and the delicious tub of home grown tomatoes.

We enjoyed many of our meals outside on the decking, in peace and quiet and surrounded by a beautiful display of flowers. The only slight niggle is that we felt the beds were not too comfortable, but the mattresses were new and so maybe it’s a matter of opinion. Overall the property was a great base from which to enjoy the stunning Cotentin beaches, and we would definitely recommend it.

Wir haben uns mit unseren zwei Kindern und unserem Hund im Haus von Jocelyne und Roland sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet, einschließlich Bettwäsche und Handtüchern. Die Einrichtung ist gepflegt und das ganze Haus sehr sauber. Die Vermieter wohnen in der anderen Haushälfte, sind sehr nett und trotzdem diskret. Zum Haus gehört eine grosse Terrasse und ein traumhaft bepflanzter und gepflegter Garten, der komplett eingezäunt ist. Unser Hund durfte sich auf dem ganzen Grundstück frei bewegen und hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Umfeld ist für uns als Stadtmenschen extrem ruhig und man erholt sich sofort.

Barneville, wo man alles bekommt, ist ca. 6 km entfernt. Traumhaft und oft menschenleer (im August !!!) sind die endlosen Sandstrände bei Hattainville und Surtainville (surveillée).

Insgesamt ein Traumziel, wenn man es ruhig und abgeschieden liebt.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft ist prima.

again we spent amazing holidays at your house. It was relaxing, interesting and exciting. We love the house, the unique, lovely garden and the beautiful Cotentin. It was so great talking to you about life and things. We can’t wait for our next stay.
