very good

Small house very nice. it's quiet and you do not get tired of the view of the lake. the cleanliness is remarkable, the bedding is impeccable. we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful region. Beautiful setting

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. The views are spectacular and it's very easy to get to from Rome. It's a great base for exploring the hills and even in November we could sit on the balcony in the sun. The village has a lovely bakery and good restaurants.

Dream house

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful stone housed. The view is breathtaking and the house itself is so cozy and lovely and modern decorated. Paolo, the owner, is very kind and helps with every question that may come up. Thank you very much for letting us stay on this fantastic place :)!!!!

Settimana rilassante in una casa incantevole.

Abbiamo appena trascorso una settimana in questo luogo magico: la casa confortevole, la vista sul lago, il paese curato e accogliente. E' difficile aggiungere qualcosa di più di quanto è già stato detto. Possiamo soltanto ringraziare i proprietari per la precisione e la cura nei confronti dei loro ospiti, consigliare a tutti di poter soggiornare in questa casa a Castel di Tora e.....sperare di poter tornare proprio lì. The perfect getaway from Rome

My husband and I had such a nice visit at the Stone House! The village where it is located, Castel di Tora is such a quaint, picturesque location! The house is located in a prime spot to enjoy the view of the hillside. Each bedroom has a nice little balcony where you can sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evenings. Paolo has decorated the home with such nice, up to date appliances, furniture and accessories, but they all blend in so well with the historic build of the home. We were so charmed by the village and area that we were ready to find a place to rent full time! We can't wait to come back and visit again on our next Italian adventure!

Beautiful Italian lake house

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Paolo’s lake view house. From the time of booking to post check out he was very informative and helpful, even offering us amazing restaurant recommendations. When we walked in the house we were immediately impressed. Everything so was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We didn’t have the best luck with weather, so we were extra happu about the fireplace with already chopped wood waiting for us. We’re already planning our return in spring to go hiking with Paolo’s guided walking tour and explore more of the area. Grazie mille!

Mountains, lake and organic food! 100% suggested!

100% satisfaction. original Italian original home, 100% brand new, with a strong wifi and latex mattress. Wonderful surroundings, with mountains, hiking options, natural park and ...the LAKE (swim, sail,kayak)! do not to miss discover this hidden spot jsut 1hr. from Rome...

a little paradise , away from hustle and bustle...

everything better that expected. Warm welcome from Host, with many suggestions about places to visit and where to eat. The House is 100% brand new. strong unlimited wifi comfortable latex mattress and, the best, a wonderful Lake View from ALL windows (and from our bed too;) we'll be back! thanks!

Breathtaking view

The view from the house is absolutely breathtaking and is worth the climb from the parking lot. This is not a place to go if you don't like to walk uphill and downhill because there are practically no flat places in this very charming town. It is build on the side of a mountain an all roads are with a significant gradient. The house is very nice and in it you will find a lot of good informaiton of activies and restaurants in the area. The owner is very friendly and he also provides a great help with information.

Breathtaking Mountain Home Overlooking Beautiful L

This home is absolutely beautiful. Each morning is like waking up in a painting. The home is clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Paolo and Melina were wonderful hosts and you will find everybody in the town is very friendly. There were many great restaurants nearby, lots of beautiful hikes, and the lake is really beautiful for swimming and kayaking. I highly recommend this home.

vista incantevole, casa comodissima, ospiti perfetti;)!

veramente troppo pochi i giorni che abbiamo passato nella bella casa in pietra vista lago dove ci siamo veramente trovati a nostro agio. la casa e' tutta nuova, appena ristrutturata, non manca niente, ed ha una vista spettacolare da tutte le stanze (pure dal letto;)! i padroni di casa ci hanno dato tanti consigli sui posti da visitare e sui migliori ristoranti della zona, e ci hanno fatto trovare caffe e condimenti, veramente graditi. c'e' anche un bel camino perfetto per le serate invernali, ci tocchera' tornare presto!!! grazie ancora ciao

The perfect frame for our stay

The house, the town and the surrounding nature were great. Everybody was very kind and everything so very italian. We were treated extremely well and had it all within walking distance. Thanks to our host and family - you took so good care of us.
