Kuule lempeä rullan aallot ... tuntuu virkistävän merituulen ... paistatella puhdas auringonvalossa aitoa paratiisi. Trooppinen Impulse, kaunis merenranta pako näkymät yksityinen ranta vaaleanpunainen hiekka tarjoaa 3 makuuhuonetta, joissa kaikissa on omat kylpyhuoneet. 2 3 makuuhuonetta ovat yläkerrassa, joka tarjoaa upeat näkymät merelle. Kolmas makuuhuone on alakerrassa mahdollistaa yksityisyyden, mutta säilyttää kaunis näkymä. Nautiskele mehevä auringonlaskua laaja kannella, tai nauttia snorklausta kautta koralliriuttoja täynnä vedenalaista ihmeet koralliriuttojen rannalle talon, tai nauti auringosta rannoista - kaikki vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä ovesta.

Made great memories at Tropical Impulse. Loved Eleuthera. Honestly the beach in front of the house was my favorite, though we went to a different beach everyday for awhile. We ate in almost every night, the local restaurants all serve the same, mediocre, expensive food in our opinion. We went to island farm just down the road and got fresh veggies for salads, steaks, shrimp etc and our best meals were at the house. The house has everything you’ll need to cook. We did have to get some paper towels and things like that but there’s a store right on church street close to the house. AC worked great. There we a few days the Atlantic side we were on was really windy, no problem though, just go over to the Caribbean side. Be prepared for the bugs. Not only at the house but everywhere on the island. You have to put picardin on first thing in the morning (all over your body) and then again at least one more time closer to dinner. They won’t bother you during the day much, but at sunrise and near sunset they will eat you alive. My wife never gets bit - she got a TON of bites. Even with the proper precautions you’re still going to get bit. There is no option to sit in the sand at sunset, it’s just not realistic given the bugs come out in such numbers. This could ruin your trip, so bring necessary precautions. We did and we loved Tropical Imoulse. Two adults and 9 and 11 year old boys for a week. There were several lemon sharks that visited our beach daily, along with several Rays.

The private beach is second to none!

We had a great stay at Tropical Impulse! We used the well appointed kitchen to eat-in a few times, and were thrilled to have some beach chairs and toys to use for our stay. The beds were comfortable. The house is generally clean and comfortable but could use some updates. The private beach makes up for any deficiencies the house may have had. It is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and so private. We could not have asked for a better beach just steps from the house. The location of the property was also great, centrally located on the island and close to Governor’s Harbor. Thanks for a great week!

Great place for a family

Only stayed upstairs so I cannot comment on the lower unit. The upstairs was great for our needs. Tropical Impulse does show up on google maps, makes getting there a breeze. Owner and caretaker were both quick to respond to questions. Currently has a cat that visits everyday. Beach was great and snorkling around the rocks was highlight of any given day.

Review

Enjoyed Tropical Impulse. The location was absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect (mid April). Bring bug spray. We had some and applying it in morning and late afternoon made the bugs a non-issue. The coral was nice and easy to snorkel around. We booked a snorkel adventure in Turtle bay and honestly the snorkeling right off the beach of this property was better than our paid for trip.

Great house!

We stayed at tropical impulse for a week. Check in was hassle free and the host even called us the day after check In to make sure everything was okay. Each room had an air conditioning unit which kept the house nice and cool despite the heat of the tropics. They had beach chairs and a kayak available for use. The patio was perfect for watching stars. My only gripe is the mosquitos and small gnats. We got picked apart by bugs anytime we went outside. I would recommend bringing bug spray along with your sunscreen. They provided a list of places to eat and stores to get groceries. I would highly recommend going to Island farm for their homemade bread and cinnamon rolls.

Nice place to stay

The house is a little hard to find but the proprietor at Lakia's Mart (about 2 miles away) knew exactly where it was and was very helpful. After we found the place, check in was a breeze. The property is nice, clean and roomy but a little dated. Lots of bugs. The air-conditioning units need Freon so the third bedroom on the lower (outside) level is very uncomfortable. Oven pilot light was out so couldn't bake but the grill worked out fine. The caretaker didn't answer any calls. The Wi-Fi worked well and was nice to have. The beach is very beautiful but there is a little bit of a drop off to get to it. There were dozens of crabs in the yard and crossing the road after it rained. What a wonderful treat to see!!

Amazing

My family of four plus another adult came here for a week and we wish we had booked it for longer. The location is amazing, mid island with close proximity to the Island Farm for produce as well as Ten Bay and Paw Paw beach which are on the Caribbean side - great for sunsets. These two beaches were also very shallow especially at low tide which was great for the kids (ages 6 and 3). The beach directly in front of the house was absolutely unbelievable as well with soft sand tranquil blue waters and great snorkeling (a giant ray came through on our last day!). We spent most of our time on the private beach from sunrise to sunset coming back to the house only to nap the youngest kiddo and to cook meals in the well appointed kitchen. The location is very safe and private. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a review about the downstair bedroom being musty - we noticed this went away simply by running the ?dehumidifier for a few hours and opening up the window. The third adult in our party stayed there the whole time without issue. I'll miss falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. This really is a special place and we hope to return next year!

Wonderful location but no power/water for 4 days and no ocean view.

We love this location but we were without power and running water for 4 days. We rented this home specifically because it has a generator only to be told, when the power first went out, that the generator was broken. If we had known the generator was not working, we would have tried to book another place because power on the island is always going off, especially when there are storms. Being without power, AC, running water, flushable toilets for 4 days was horrible. Also, the pictures of the ocean view on the listing are really, really old. There is no view of the ocean from the home or the deck. The palm trees are overgrown and block the entire view. We didn’t use the downstairs apartment because my kids didn’t like that it smelled really musty and damp so we all stayed upstairs. We love Eleuthera and will be back again but will not stay at this house.

Great place!

I absolutely loved Tropical Impulse and can't wait to visit Eleuthera again. The island is one of a kind. The property was pretty much as stated. I didn't realize you had to go outside to get to bottom room but that was ok. I probably just missed it in the property description. I emailed owner and property manager before my visit to inquire about water supply and didn't get an answer. Basically you just buy refillable water bottle from the grocery store. Very easy to do. The WiFi only worked part of the time. I notified property manager but it wasn't fixed. Probably due to island resources but an answer from management would have been nice. The power went out several times but the generator worked well. The property was nice and the beach was wonderful. Kitchen was nicely supplied. If you need to communicate back to states just add international plan on phone for a few days because the cell service is pretty good at Tropical Impulse. Beach towels were provided as well as washer and dryer. There is no hot tub as listed in property description on VRBO but who needs one in Eleuthera. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Tropical Impulse Found

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Tropical Impulse. Power on the island is very questionable so we were extremely pleased to find out that the house had a backup generator that came on automatically. It ran 2 and 3 times every day so it was a wonderful thing to have - I feel your listing would be wise to mention the generator. The listing needs to be updated to show the view as of today instead of several years ago. There are many trees that have now grown up to where the view from the living room and deck isn't anything like the listing shows. For us, we'd prefer to see several of those trees removed for getting a better breeze and an actual clear view of the ocean before we'd book this house again. Something else that should be confirmed before renting the house out is that there is enough propane in the tanks for the stove for guests to cook with. We ate out a lot but also purchased fresh fish and other food to cook a few meals. We ran out of propane in the middle of cooking one meal and the tanks never did get refilled for the remainder of our stay so we missed out completely on the food we purchased to make the meal for our last night on the island. I understood from the property manager that the house had been struck by lightning just a few weeks prior to our stay but I believe it was my group who figured out the hard way that the dish washer wasn't working properly. Not a big deal to hand wash some dishes but was disappointing to discover as we did

We had such an amazing time in Eleuthera and were so happy with the home. It had amazing views and the very beach was spectacular and very private. We are able to rest and had ample space for our family of five. The communication with Kenneth was great.

WOW!!!

We spent 3 weeks in T.I. and it was a beautiful experience from the first minute. Kenn, the owner, has been very attentive in answering all our questions promptly, making the process stress free. The house exceeded our high expectations! It has everything and more. Being only 2 people we used 1 bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a full and comfortable bathroom as well. The kitchen is very practical with utensils of all kinds, large refrigerator and gas stove. The other 2 bedrooms are very spacious with their own bathrooms as well. The living room has a mesmerizing view of the sea! And a comfortable dining room for 6 people...living, kitchen and dining room in open concept. Outside: table, chairs and deck chairs on a large terrace always with sun. And the path that leads to the beach is beautiful. An outdoor shower is appreciated! The caretaker Calvin is always available. We didn't need him as we had no problems with the house. The BEST experience in ELH. We will be back as soon as we can. Location, location, location

It's all about the location and the best (and semi-private) beach on Eleuthera! We stayed at the villa for 12 days and would start every day with a walk on a beautiful beach just steps from the house with gorgeous sunrise views. It got to a point that for some days we'd not go anywhere else as the beach was also great for swimming, snorkelling and collecting colourful sea glass. The house is spacious and has all the needed amenities including bbq, a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a laundry/dryer. Yes, it may be a little dated but it's Bahamas and you don't go to Eleuthera for luxurious villas but for the authentic experience and the weather and we got more than expected. Thank you!

Truly Tropical

Tropical impulse property is in a wonderful location. The view from the patio and access in back of house to nearly private beach was top notch. Very close to Governors Harbour for all your needs (restaurants, shopping etc.). Situated in middle of the island for quick trip north or south to historical sites and many other amazing beaches. We have visited Andros and Exuma in the Bahamas, also wonderful places but Eleuthra checks all the boxes for us. Quick access to island with major airline, beautiful beaches, amazing water and sea life and the people of the Bahamas are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location of the home, grounds and main floor are great. We had planned on using the downstairs living area and bedroom, as we had three adults and two children with us. Due to the musty smell in downstairs area, no one was comfortable with sleeping down there. We certainly made it work with couch in living room as extra bed. I understand the humidity situation from being on the beach in a tropical island, but some attention to this situation would certainly make this home a top place to visit. All of those related to house (owner, supervisor and housekeeper) answered questions and responded as needed. Beautiful place on a beautiful island, just might need a little TLC.

Great Beach and Location

Our family of 4 (all adults) vacationed at this property December 2021. The highlight of this property is it's location and proximity to a great beach. About the beach. There are numerous coral boulders and reefs just 30 -100 yards offshore and provide excellent snorkeling. Be aware that there are some partially exposed rocks just under the surface of the water immediately in front of the path. I got a couple scrapes on my protected feet and legs. Your best option for entering the water is about 100ft down the beach to the left, about even with the second small palm tree. A word about Sand Fleas, or aka the "No-See-Um's" They are for real!!! We were given some advice by a fellow veteran Bahamas vacationer to wear bug repellent or Avon's Skin So Soft early in the morning or near sunset if we were going to be on the beach. It turns out the Sand Fleas don't know how to tell time. Our first beach day we had our chairs just above the high tide line and I got eaten up (fortunately the only one out of our family). Being from Texas and having had many unfortunate run-ins with fire ants, I am used to keeping an eye on my feet and I saw and felt nothing. It wasn't until that evening when the bites started to swell and itch that I determined I had received about 70 bites (not a typo) to my feet, calves, back, arms and up to my neck. Symptoms very similar to fire ants and it was truly miserable. If this happened to your young children it would be a vacation show stopper. I recommend you do some research on Sand Fleas before you travel just so you're aware and also bring some cortisone for bug bites as they will happen. The Property: In decent shape. Some issues with remote controls for the AC's. 3rd bdrm (downstairs) smelled musty. We wished the beds were more comfortable. Dining out. Dinner time is early (winter?) but really no problem. Dining and groceries are expensive - at least double you're used to in the USA. Best Restaurants: Tippy's was by far our favorite place We also enjoyed The Buccaneer Club and Bougainvillea's. Sunset Inn - food was decent. Sunset was excellent but be warned, the mosquitos come out in swarms right after the sun goes down and they are hungry! Best bet is to eat inside. They are cash only. Avoid - 3 J's. We had a bad intestinal experience afterward :-( Shopping: Maillards close but very limited. Best bets are Burrow's, Eleuthera Supply (Cash Only)

Generator and Propane tank has been installed on my property to provide the guests with full electric power for the house at all times. This is automatic back up when the area and village have power issues.
