House close to Gualala

The house was a little dated, but important things such as the kitchen, more than fully equipped, the shower, and most importantly the nice view of the sea were excellent. I would stay there again.

Welcoming, cozy, peaceful

This was a beautiful and well-equipped house with access to miles of bluff trails, perfect for my family of 5 adults. We enjoyed the warmth and ambiance of the wood stove, the flow and openness of the kitchen, living, and dining areas. The windowseats were comfy with great views. The amenities were complete and up to date. If we needed help, the response was quick and effective. Thanks for a great experience!

Perfect getaway for our family

The home is a little older but has all the right upgrades - cozy custom cushions in the living room, new plush carpet. Definitely a place for cooks: we loved the commercial range in the kitchen which let us whip up 8 burgers in one go for the family, and I've never seen sharper knives in a rental home. No bug screens on windows means the occasional insect flying around, but also that you get great unobstructed views of the meadow and the ocean beyond. Comfortable beds, white towels, and A+ on cleanliness.

Fully Meets All Expectations: Excellent Residence

This house is exactly what it appears to be in the pictures and is an excellent, beautiful place to stay. If you want a place at Sea Ranch, it would be very hard to do better. Loved it!

Warm, quiet, lovely direct views of the ocean with a wind protected outdoor deck. I needed a place to get away from my caregiver duties and this was perfect!

I love this home

I had a really beautiful weekend at Toto House with some dear friends. I have so much admiration + respect for Sea Ranch. It feels so special to be a guest there. The views were amazing... the house was comfortable, lovely outdoor deck. We really loved making elaborate meals in the kitchen thanks to the commercial range (check the binder for instructions if you've never used a range before!!). I would totally rent this house again. It was hard to leave after just two nights!

A perfect spot!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was perfect for two couples with one small child each. We especially loved how much safe space there was for the kids to run around and play, the stunning ocean views, and how easy it was to get on the bluff trail (it's right out the back door!) The kitchen was well appointed and everything worked great. We'd definitely come back!

Great Location

Great location at North end of Sea Ranch and close to town. Perfect for some quiet time away with areas to walk and get out. Separate work area is great for those who have to do some work while there.

Great retreat

Fabulous Time at Sea Ranch

The location is fantastic with beautiful ocean views and easy access to cliff trails. The property is spacious and sparkling clean with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding. It is close to Gualala and offers everything one could ask for to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing get away in Sea Ranch!!

Amazing views, old house

Our original reservation for a different house was cancelled the day before we were to check in and needless to say our family was upset and frustrated. Vacasa set us up with the Toto House and it was not as nice as the house we booked (from the pics) but the views and location were amazing. Like other reviews said, we were walking distance to great trails and saw deer and the ocean view was beautiful. The inside of the house is another story. Similar to other reviews, the pots and pans need to be cleaned better or replaced. The original carpet is in horrible condition and we kept finding bugs and spiders on the floor and on the padded bench in one of the rooms. And then we had ants in the kitchen! The “couch” is awful and you can’t comfortably sit on it with others and the remote for the TV would not work well at night for some reason. There were cobwebs everywhere and things growing in the corners of some of the rooms and closets. But the bathrooms were very clean and the water got hot quickly and the views were beautiful. The house has a lot of potential and could be really amazing with some updates like replacing all the carpet and taking out the built in blue couch and getting a sectional and a more functional stove and cooktop would be nice. Wolf brand is great but having to light the gas stove for each use was not great especially with little kids. Overall I give the house 3 stars, mainly for the location and views. There is no house obstructing the view from the family room and deck and that was pretty amazing.

Great Location

The location to the cliff side walk is amazing. The view is breath taking. The house itself is a bit run down. Given its dog friendly, we arrived to a clean house. The space heaters are tiny and we could only find 2, so we were cold in the bedrooms. The wood stove heats up the house well but be prepared to keep it going if you’re there in the colder months. The kitchen pots and pans and stove top were not clean. Everything in the kitchen felt like it needed a good washing.

Toto-lily relaxing

This house is special as it has a lovely ocean view and two bedrooms with ocean views. The kitchen is large and functional and well supplied. The living room couches are built in and not comfortable for more than one person (too long and complicated to explain why). Lovely deck to sit and enjoy the sunset. We would definitely stay again

Lovely Sea Ranch House

Perfect place for a family vacation. We biked, hiked and played tennis. We also h wound and enjoyed a beautiful view. The only issue was 4 pm check in is absurdly late when check out is 10 am. The cleaning crew was there right until 4 pm!

The view is amazing, but....

The house is not. The mattresses must date back to the 1970s, along with the pillow and the linens. The kitchen poorly stocked with random items. This must be my 25th visit to Sea Ranch, and even in a run down house, it's paradise. In addition, Vacasa didn't respond to calls about how to access the pools, which require a new process during Covid-19.

Great, comfortable house, nice location

A great house for a Sea Ranch vacation. Close to the golf course and Gualala, with a nice meadow location with some ocean views. Close to many trails, and easy to get to the various beaches. The house has some toys/games for young children and the sunken living room made for a great play area. Working with Vacasa was not ideal, but that is not the owner's fault.

Lovely house with a great view!

This was a lovely single story house with a great view of the ocean. You couldn’t have asked for a better view of the ocean and 6 deer came grazing nearby by. It was a lovely scene. The only thing I’d we couldn’t find the single heaters to warm up the house and the first night we were very cold. We called and some one dropped of two more heaters and the fireplace provided warmth and coziness that was welcomed with open arms. The house is well insulated so the heaters provided sufficient warmth.

The home is lovely.

We like the house very much..we .love the location and we're appreciative of how responsive Vacasa was. The house does not have central heating but the wood burning stove is very efficient and the small electric heaters that the owners have placed in every room keep the house toasty.

Great Place to Stay

This is my third time renting w/ Vacasa and third different house. This is one of my favorites because of it's close location to the ocean and the updated kitchen. Living room was extra comfy with the built in couches. Kitchen was easy to use, and has everything you need. Pots and pans are nice quality. Eating utensils are nice quality. Lighting is great with skylights. Bedrooms are great. Beds are super comfy. Bathrooms are typical for Sea Ranch. They are super clean but not as updated as the rest of the house. No complaint though about it. Walk to the bluff trail is about a 8 minute walk along the hedgerows. Location is only a 5-10 minute drive to Gualala for all your needs. Vacasa, as usual is easy and quick to respond to any issues. It's super easy to check in both at their offices and at the house itself. I had a family emergency and almost didn't make it and they were very supportive and helpful. Then we got caught without power or cell coverage due to the Kincade fires. Vacasa was great in providing support during and after the fire. I will be coming back.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the view of the ocean across the meadow. The layout of the house was very nice. There was only the two of us, but the house would be great for a family or two couples. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and there are two additional bedrooms on the other side of the house with the common living area in the center. The kitchen had everything that we needed.
