This place is beautiful!!! First, all the cool things!!! Beach view…SUPERB! (View of pool also a plus!). The condo? Well appointed, great views from both master bedrooms, very spacious! We traveled with 6 adults and one very tall 12 year old, and we had plenty of space! Check in was a breeze, instructions on how to access the condo first through service elevator, to then get your access cards for your very own front door elevator access were very clear. So cool to have an elevator directly to your condo!!! Walking distance (it’s right next door) to the Back Porch, one of Destin’s most popular restaurants. Private beach was pristine and beautiful! The condo had 5 beach chairs for use, which was so handy! The Sand Bar, the resort’s beach bar, had good food, as well as live music on Friday and Saturday! We are beach people so we spent all our time there, but the resort has many other amenities, such as basketball courts, fitness center, pickle ball courts, etc. We absolutely loved this place!For the not so cool minor things. Second master bed slat supports had fallen/were broken, causing the bed to sag to the middle a little. Main master bed was a little hard for my liking. As another recent reviewer has said, the ice did not dispense from the door, but who cares? The thing made ice (lots!) and ya just open the door to get it! Yes, the toilet near the back bedroom would run after you flush it, but a little wiggle of the handle each time took care of it, no worries.

Fantastic view of Emerald Coast! Beautiful sand and water!Condo could use a refresh…ie BR closet door not working, dryer rusted out, chipped tile. Just not what we expected from pictures on line. Family friendly, despite terrible odor from elevator area into unit. Apparently, “weed” which was tough to handle with kiddos.

Would stay a resort again but not this condo. Several issues with 906 that will stop customers from coming back. - toilet next to bunk room runs CONTINUOUSLY - faucet in 2nd master BR is broken - both lounge chairs on patio are broken - the icemaker NEVER dispensed ice through the door. - mold in master shower and tub. For the cost of the rental, would expect better.

Reviewer Comments: Gibson was easy to book but the process to get to your room was not clear at all they assume you have been there I had to find a maintenance worker to help us find the right elevator. Need to make the directions clearer.

Enjoyed our stay! The location of this unit is excellent- easy access to the pool and beach. Patio nice view. For after hours check in ask security guards for help- the garage gate code doesn’t work once in garage everything was per directions. Private elevator. Destin work the visit . We would stay again

Condo and overall property were wonderful. Communication with rental management agency was quick and easy. There is no binder or document in the condo outlining check in/check out procedures, nor was there clear communication on how to access the beach or pool area (you need fobs, which were eventually found in the condo). Providing this information would be incredibly helpful to limit initial questions and confusion. Once we were able to track down the information needed to access basic services, everything was great. Great sleeping layout for all ages, excellent location!

Bday trip

We stayed at this beautiful property to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. The layout and bedroom setup were perfect for us. The view off the balcony is amazing. Property campus had heated pool and hot tub that was handy due to our trip being in November. Campus also had a playground area that was perfect for my younger kids.

Stay was great, Security guard was awful

We had a great family vacation. We loved the location, the view and the water. We ended up catching the end of the hurricane, but we didn't allow that to ruin our vacation. We had a couple of issues while there. The bed were hard as a rock. We had to go buy air mattresses to lay on top of the mattress, so we could sleep comfortable. All beds were the same. The light before we left a security guard who isn't affiliated with the rental company or VRBO, told us that our registered service dog, who was trained by K-9 Frontline, was not a service dog and asked us to leave. We reported this security guard and we were not asked to leave by the rental company. My brother-in-law has severe PTSD from 2 deployments and this was just unacceptable.

Great location

This is our 10th year to stay in Destin and loved this location. The condo is spacious and nice but the grout on the floor and shower make it look dirtier than it actually is. Bring your own oil and seasonings, as this condo has none but does have cookware. Beds are comfortable and the private elevator is a major plus. If you come in later in the evening, be sure to ask a guard to let you in the garage, as the guard at the guard shack didn’t offer to do this and we couldn’t figure out how to get into condo for around 20-30 min and calling the after hours line. The washing machine sometimes stops mid-cycle and you have to restart it. All this being said, the property is beautiful, clean and not over-crowded. The beach restaurant is yummy and the views from this condo are perfect! We would stay here again.

Beautiful View

This was our first time to Destin. Came with a h.s. graduation group. The view in this condo was amazing. The furniture was dated and stained. Icemaker didn't work or the garbage disposal and we had maintenance ppl coming and going but they we're very pleasant to work with. They did bring us bags of ice. We could've used one more key fob (our friends in other condos were provided 3 or more) since it was necessary to get access to the beach, in the pool and in the building. Felt spacious. Felt safe. Slept 8 very comfortably. Pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and a must especially with the rip tide warnings when was beach closed (3 of the 5 days we were there) Host was responsive. Chair and umbrella setup on the beach is extra $ however you could use provided chairs but you have to had to haul them down and setup around Silver Shell's guests' provided ones. For the money, there are cheaper and more enjoyable rooms to choose from in Silver Shells. Research carefully.

Perfect condo on the beach

Super clean, loved the room with bunk beds for the kids. I do wish it had a lock so they can’t just open the door and walk outside. Balcony is big with great furniture! The pool was the best we’ve stayed at. Only two critiques is the door in the bunk room not having an inside lock & only 2 key cards made it difficult with a large group. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful! The location of the condo is right on the beach with great balcony view of beach. Personal elevator to condo was such a plus! Loved views from both master bedrooms. Beach chairs included in unit, but would be nice if they were the more common Tommy Bahama-type chairs that recline. Chairs very basic and some were high and not low beach chairs. Sofa in living room not very comfortable. But overall, we loved the condo!

Beautiful View and plenty of room

Loved the condo. The view was spectacular, and the location is awesome. The 3 bathrooms was an enormous plus, and the beach and access was perfect. The only slight issue was confusion with the check-in process after 5 pm, but I called the emergency line and got help. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, great view. Condo had torn drapes, broken chair, and poor communication with the owner. The condo did not stack up to previous vacation experiences we have had at other locations. I would not recommend
