Cozy Cottage in Gated Community

Our cozy cottage situated in the Cottages at Cultus Lake, familiar to many for its beautiful scenery, amazing amenities building and close proximity to amusements, hiking trails and beaches. Whether you want to relax with a good book, sit be the seasonal pool, go for a swim in the lake or race down the waterslides, there certainly is something for everyone. The Cottages are approximately a 90 minute drive from Vancouver, on the Lindell Beach side of the Lake. The closest beach is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk at Maple Bay, the perfect spot for a picnic, swim, kayak or Paddle Board. The Cottages are enjoyable year round where you can cozy up with a puzzle or games in front of the gas fireplace or roast marshmallows in the outdoor fire (pending provincial fire bans). If you want a quiet getaway our Cottage is definitely the place to come.
The Treehouse (club house, gym and children's playroom) is open year round equipped with a pool table, foos ball table etc. Our pools and hot tubs are open from May long weekend to October, closing Thanksgiving weekend. They are also open during additional school breaks and long weekends.
Also note: that the current Short-term legislation does not apply to us, we are considered an Electoral Regional District and exempt from the restrictions. Due to some strata restrictions, we have a 5 night minimum with no limited length of stay after that. Please message me if you would like a shorter stay as during shoulder season this can sometimes be accommodated but will be evaluated case by case depending on existing bookings.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here as much as anywhere else we've stayed. We were impressed by the peaceful beautiful community and the cozy but roomy Cottage that had everything you need and more. Since the community is gated there is also a sense of safety. We did use the pool which was really nice and the people using it as well were very friendly. However it was very hard to find exactly where to go into the get into the pool area it was like a maze. Our hosts were easy to get hold of and responded quickly. Besides beautiful Cultus Lake we also took in downtown Chilliwack at District 1881. I recommend anybody staying in the Cultus Lake Area to check that out.

Beautiful Cottage in Serene Location

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cabin.The cabin is situated within a quiet and ideal community surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views. The cabin has excellent decks for evening bbq’s or just reading a book. The property is clean and has everything you could want and more - my kids enjoyed many of the board games. The gated community has an excellent Clubhouse where we went to swim, play shuffleboard and ping pong, while there is also a gym and theatre room that is easily accessible. If that’s not enough there are beaches, a water park, adventure park and restaurants close by and only 29min to everyday conveniences in Chilliwack. We went in the summer but I can imagine having great time here any time of year. Mike and Family

A Very Peaceful Break from City Life!

My wife and I stayed at Shari's cottage for 6 nights on a short vacation from the rush of life and work in the city. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed reading or watching TV in the living room in front of the gas fireplace in the comfortable chairs or lounging on the couch. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed upstairs was very comfortable. It was a great place to hide away when the snow fell and we could just relax. This was our 2nd visit, and we hope to go again. Nice off season retreat

Good, clean, fairly spacious cottage. As pictured. Nice views of the mountains from all around the deck. The wine was a lovely touch - thank you! We visited as a married child free couple in December, we really enjoyed how virtually deserted the neighborhood was, it was peaceful and quiet. I loved sitting around having a tea and a quiet chat on the deck. Many homes of year round residents were decorated for Christmas, it was very pretty. The lake is not far, only a short drive, and it's not so far from Chilliwack or a Yarrow either. Close to several trails. My only critique would be that I found the pillows rather hard and would've liked a soft/side sleeping alternative. Overall it's a well appointed, well priced cottage, great for romantic getaways in the winter!

Another great week!

We have been returning to this property for the past couple of years and once again, it has been a great stay! The cottage is well stocked and clean, conveniently close to the Treehouse (swimming pool, gym and kids room), and perfect for our family. The owners are super responsive with any questions you may have. We look forward to next year already!

Cultus Lake Getaway

The Cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable! Shari and Phillipe were excellent hosts and were reachable if we had any questions with the initial booking til the end of check out. It was in a great location to enjoy Maple Bay, Lindell Beach, and the Waterslides of the Cultus Lake area. We enjoyed the pool at the Treehouse community centre and local general store near Lindell Beach.

A Great Getaway

This beautiful home is located in a picturesque setting. You are surrounded by amazing landscaping and mountains. The inside was decorated cute and cottage like and the patio was lovely to sit and enjoy a cu of coffee. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. Summer Getaway

The cottage was a nice size for a family of four and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The deck was amazing for bbqs/dinners and morning coffee. The location is a very short walk to the clubhouse and pools. The property is very peaceful and relaxing.

Comfy cottage

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage! It was so comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed many beautiful and peaceful walks through the neighborhood, around the pond and along the creek. It’s a bit of a walk to the lake, but a quick 5 minute trip by car. Shari and Philippe were wonderful hosts and so easy to communicate with. We hope to return!

Early Christmas in a Christmas Story setting

Our stay at this property was just lovely. The Cottages have such a unique ambiance, it's almost like living in a Hallmark movie set. Quiet and enjoyable, and room for the grandkids to be active. Quick responses from the host whenever needed. We highly recommend this host and property.

A Great Getaway!

My wife and I spent six nights at this cottage and found it everything we were looking for. The cottage itself is very attractive and comfortable, with a nice floor plan, kitchen, and dining area. The living room was great for reading, relaxing, conversing, and just enjoying the gas fireplace. There is a nice sized TV (though we didn't make use of it, as we spent most of our time reading and just relaxing). The bed was very comfortable, and there are bunk beds in the second bedroom if you have kids with you (we were on our own as a couple). The neighborhood in which the cottage is located (a gated community close to Cultus Lake) was very quiet and pleasant and we enjoyed going for short walks each day of our stay. Everything needed is available in the cottage, including a washer and dryer, and all the towels, kitchen utensils, etc. All in all it was a great getaway from the stresses of work and life in the city, and we look forward to returning!

Another amazing stay

This is our second stay at this property and it was amazing just as the last visit. Clean and well stocked cottage, very close to the pool, main amenities, and play area, perfect for our family. Clear check in and out instructions and friendly host. The added AC this year was well appreciated as well. We look forward to visiting again next summer!

Loved it!

This was an amazing getaway. The home was so clean and organized & very well stocked. The cottage is a quick walk to all of the great amenities. The kids and grown ups in our group loved the pools and hot tubs. So much to do with the family. Communication was great. Excellent hosts! Its a quiet community and so well maintained. We plan to come again next year

What an amazing stay! Just wonderful although we had some rainy days! Owners have thought about everything. As we travelled from Europe we had upfront contact and went really great! Peaceful Getaway

Excellent place to stay if looking for a quiet restful location in a beautiful setting and gated community. The hosts have done an amazing job of creating a very clean and well equipped cottage that is close to Cultus Lake, some really nice hikes and other outdoor activities.
