Welcome to our beachfront house on Beach Road in Dana Point, California! This charming coastal retreat offers a truly unforgettable experience, featuring 3 cozy bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. With boho chic vibes throughout, our home is designed for both relaxation and adventure.

The highlight is the private deck, complete with a stylish umbrella and BBQ, where you can enjoy stunning ocean views and watch for dolphins playing in the surf. The beach is just steps away from the back door, making it perfect for beach lovers. Swim, surf, or simply relax on the sand—all right at your doorstep!

This side-by-side single-level duplex can also be rented as a whole, making it an ideal option for extended family or groups of friends. Enjoy panoramic views of Catalina Island, magical sunsets, and the lively beach atmosphere.

After a day of fun in the sun, explore the nearby seaside cities of Dana Point and San Clemente, where you'll find a variety of restaurants, shopping, and hiking trails. This location is also perfect for day trips to the San Diego Zoo, Mission San Juan Capistrano, and Disneyland.

Fall in love with our pleasant and homey cottage as you savor a fresh cup of coffee while listening to the crashing waves. Lemaya Beach House is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and create amazing memories. See below for more details regarding the space!

To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone—and to comply with Dana Point city regulations—please follow these rules during your stay:

Quiet Hours: 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
No outdoor noise, music, or loud conversations during this time.

Keep voices and activities at a respectful level if using patios, decks, or outdoor spaces.

Close windows and doors if you're watching TV or listening to music at night.

Indoor Noise Limits
Be mindful of volume levels at all times, especially in the evening.

Sound must not be audible beyond the property line, particularly at night.

We had a great time ! Unfortunately, the host didn’t register our name at gate to check in , very had to get a hold of, no batteries in the remote control and when we turned on the fans dust went EVERYWHERE.

Everything about this stay, besides location, was absolutely abysmal. The communication was, for a nerve-wracking time non existent, and when she did finally communicate it was empty apologies and confusing. Her place smelled like sewage, we had to close off the front room/second bathroom so we could breath. Cabinets in the kitchen fell apart when you opened them and the pots and pans were not cleaned/pit away dirty.

Incredible place of respite

This was a wonderful property and provided us a low key vacation at the beach. The fact that it's in a gated part of the road and that we went in February meant that there were no crowds, and it was lovely to have a beach practically to ourselves. Hearing the ocean at night as you fall asleep is one of the greatest joys of life. This was a spacious, well equipped property that supplied all of our needs!

Difficulty with communication with property owner to get into home and through gate. Didn’t know that only two vehicles could go through the gate. The most disturbing thing was the false advertising that the place had air conditioning which it did not. Great location. BBQ was destroyed and the firepot doesn’t work.

The proximity & access to the ocean, plus the views were superb; unsurpassed.The plentiful, clean beach towels were a plus.Old, worn flooring needs a much needed cleaning and/or replacement. Living room couch stained & broken. Sheets not clean in one room - sand under comforter.Ceiling fan, front bedroom had no working control; fan on high setting was incessently spinning, chain to turn off was broken; greatly lessened comfort of stay. Never received any assistance from mgr to fix problem. I am asking for compensation for this extreme inconvenience. Hope i get a response in regards to this matter.

The rental property is highly outdated and in dire need of upgrades. The property is also very misrepresented from the photos online to what we actually walked into. The property is musty and dingy and the layout is nothing like the photos from online for the living room area. Our experience was so terrible that I got a full refund and did not stay there. None of the bed linens were changed from the last guests, there was food and dirty dishes in the sink, there was trash and all the trash cans, including the bathrooms with snot rags. There were snot rags in one of the beds, there were dirty towels in the bathrooms, balled up in the bathtub. I say this for any future customer, please, please reconsider renting at this property. Save your money because you will be more than disappointed with this property.

Great location/poor communication

The unit was not properly prepared for our arrival. There were used beach towels on the floor in the laundry room. We couldn’t use the fire table because the propane tank was empty. What we’re most disappointed in was that I messaged the host and called her regarding our issues with all 4 TV remotes and she never messaged or called me back. Therefore, we had no working TV's.

Beware: Property is dated and in need of repairs, maintenance and cleaning

When you rent a property for a significant amount, you have expectations that things will appear as advertised or better than advertised. I have stayed on Beach Road many times over my lifetime and my expectations were low as I thought that this property would be old but not in need of basic repairs, maintenance, and cleaning. Wobbling toilet. Handle in shower is VERY difficult to turn off/on. Main sliding door takes extra strength to open/close. Front patio is shared with other half of the split house but privacy screen is broken (and by the way, I did not know it was a split house until a week before). Couch was incredibly stained. Very old towels. Water filter on refrigerator was not working.And there was not any information ahead of time about the rule of only allowing two cars to be on the property. We had three cars so we were instructed to just figure it out (with the only public overnight parking up the cliff in the seaside community). And yet, plenty of open parking near the actual house. I understand there are rules for the gated community but there was no information on that until a week before.On the positive side, the beds were very comfortable and clean. The kitchen appliances worked. The sun was out and the beach was beautiful.

Family trip

The property was okay. We had a few issues one was involving an electrical issue, where the outlets would continue to short out, resulting in my dad needing to go to the outside breaker box to reset.(Not Safe), he needed his medical device working. The fire tables did not work, and it looked like the had removed the adjustable switch…that was a bummer as we were looking forward to using that. The rest of the home appeared clean, and was presentable. The couches were stained, and a bit uncomfortable as the pictures online showed them much cleaner. The toilet in the back room was loose and would rock back and forth, so that was a bit off. The coffee maker in the kitchen did not work properly, and it was missing one of the pieces. The one day it was very windy and the table umbrella had apparently flown and gone into the neighbors patio. This was a dangerous situation, especially since they had a young child next door. More secured items would help prevent that from happening. Other than those disappointing features, the property itself had a beautiful view of the ocean, they had sand toys and games for my two children, and they had a working washer and dryer for use.This property appeared very older fashioned with newer applicants for the kitchen. Overall, it needs some fixing up but is a cozy place for a family vacation.

House was really nice. The host was unresponsive. I called the guard shack 45 minutes before check in and they had no knowledge we were arriving or that the house was even rented for the weekend. The guard gave me the host's number and after numerous call and texts she got back to me. She asked for vehicle information I had given her weeks earlier. The next day I tried to add our second vehicle for the guard shack. She never responded so we had to walk out past the gate.
