Aloha and welcome to Waikiki! Our condo is located at the Royal Aloha. We are minutes from the beach and the Waikiki strip. We offer the following:

The Royal Aloha offers a private pool and BBQ area. There is a community washer and dryer on each floor, and more on the first floor. You will be staying on the 8th floor, which allows for great views. And with the jalousie windows, the cross-breeze feels wonderful!

The location of our condo is approximately half a mile from Waikiki beach. It is walking distance to the beach as well as to the International Market Place. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance as well. The Waikiki Brewing Company is one that we often frequent and is located across the street from our condo.

This condo is privately owned by my husband and I, and we are committed to making your stay in Waikiki memorable. We will be available at any time for questions/comments/concerns. Although we are not local, our manager is. He is on call and available for any needs related to the condo. You will receive his personal cell phone number, as well as ours, just prior to your visit.

We are well-versed in the island of Oahu. If you are looking for tourist attractions and events, we can assist with that. While Oahu is full of entertainment, it is also full of wonderful history. We can provide information on historical sites as well. The free parking stall is located in the parking garage directly across the street. There is very little street parking in front of the condo, but there is a loading/unloading zone at the building entrance.

Our condo is located in the heart of Waikiki, a lively and bustling city. It is NOT the place to be if you're looking for serenity, calm and quiet! Mahalo for your interest and we hope to host you soon!

Great Stay, Old Building

Building is old and a little run down but this specific unit is nice. Comfy bed and property manager was very accommodating. Cooler and chairs very helpful. Pool small but clean and nice.

A wonderful stay and Julio, the property manager, was so responsive, helpful and kind. The space is great, we were able to make easy meals at the condo and save money on our stay--kitchen had everything we needed. Air conditioning worked great. Laundry is easy and convenient, kids loved the pool! Many thanks!

The main bedroom window was broken and open the entire time making it hard to sleep because you hear all the outside traffic, the AC unit was broken in the king bed room with the broken window. We left with about 25 bug bites, we suspect bed bugs, the bites got so bad our son had to sleep on the couch. Some type of hanger fell from the drapes in 2nd bedroom. Manager was nice, parking was good.

First family Hawaii trip - June 2025

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment building. Considering how old of a building this is we were quite happy with our stay. It was very clean and tidy. Had many supplies for our use in case we had forgotten something. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area. The only thing I would say that could use improvement would be the air conditioning system and the fact that I couldn’t close the master bedroom windows and the noise from the street was loud at times. Thank you!

Great Getaway

This property was perfect for our family vacation. It was just what we needed. The owner and caretaker were very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to families wanting a nice, quiet stay in Hawaii.

I wish the central air a/c was working the portable a/c units don’t work very well the place was not cooled off like we wanted too. The ceiling fans all they do is move the hot air in the rooms. It was hot at night couldn’t get a good night sleep. Had to call Julio to fix the portable a/c. Central air is the best way to go. Please get rid of the portable a/c units.Thank you

Family Vacation

There were five of us and it worked out well. Appreciated the beach chairs and towels. The views from the apartment were great (as pictured). Located close to the mall and beach. The parking for our rental was right across the street.

Flood and poor appliances

We had a flood in our condo on our first full day in Hawaii...the janitorial staff did take care of this immediately. The "air conditioning" was ineffective and always had an error message and did not provide any cooling. Received a message from host saying shower gel and coffee were available...shower gel was so watered down it was thinner than water. We had enough coffee to make just one pot. Had to continually ask for more toilet paper. One plus...parking was included in fees charged, but, I recommend continuing your research.

We had a decent stay for 6 nights. There were 5 of us and having 1 bathroom was a bit of a challenge but we made it work. Being able to cook in the unit was a plus and the assigned parking spot was very convenient. Hanging out on the balcony was also very nice.

Great condo location, beware of parking situation.

Overall we enjoyed the property and the fun items available to you: boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas. TV doesn’t work, just heads up. But Wi-Fi works, only one room has ac, the other one doesn’t. And the parking was a total nightmare. Compact, fifth floor, very confusing elevator system (two separate entries and exits for one parking building but not all will work), and the security guards for the parking building were very paranoid and aggressive, esp towards our minority family members. Aside from all this, we enjoyed the friendly condo building managers and the clean pool and access to grill.

Waikiki stay

Security was great and parking was relatively convenient. The condo is in need of repair but was cleanliness was acceptable. Does not have central air and the portable units are noisy. Probably would not go back but it work ok for us.

Great communication with owners and management

The property is just as described. I stayed here for five nights with my family. Both the property owners and the on-site management were very helpful. The answered questions I had. The communication was great.

Great place in the heart of Honolulu

Overall, this condo was very good. It was exactly as stated. It was a little tight for five of us, but we knew that with only one bathroom we’d have that. It was comfortable, though. Like others have said, it is right downtown, so there is street noise. We knew to expect that, so it didn’t bother us. Appreciated that each room had a fan in it, which could mask the noise. The balcony was great - loved sitting out there in the mornings with coffee. There was a little hiccup with check-in, but Julio was able to take care of everything fairly quickly.

Waikiki vacation

Overall property was clean and easy to find. Very easy to go a short drive to go grocery shopping or pick up food from nearby restaurants. We felt very safe staying at this condo. Condo was perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. There was some traffic noise but by the second day we didn't even notice it. The only downfall was that the parking was across the street in another building, but it was easy to access, and that building was also very secure. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Condo

Condo easy to access and was as appeared online. Beach supplies were an added bonus. Some restaurants and shops and beach within a 10 min walk while Waikiki is 20 mins plus. Easy to Uber around to other sights. We had a fun time!

Aloha! My name is Michelle and my husband is Ed. Me n Ed are born and raised Californians. However, Oahu has become our second home. We are both retired and are extremely lucky to be able to visit Oahu regularly. We are both book lovers, so much so that we turned our dining room into a library. Ed's history books have taken over our library. He has a profound interest in World War II history, and as such we often visit Pearl Harbor. Currently, we have endeavored to visit all 1100 plus California Historical Landmarks, which is no easy feat! We are almost halfway done. There are so many historical sites that are in no man's land. But we love the adventure! I enjoy running, and working out. Ed would only run if his life depended on it, lol. Hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about us and feel free to tell us about yourself!

My husband and I have been visiting Hawaii for years. We mostly visit Oahu but have visited Kauai and the big island. Oahu has it all, and Waikiki is the best spot to enjoy it from. This property is walking distance to the beach, and we have made it a tradition to sip Mai Tai's at Duke's while watching the sunset. Diamond Head is a short drive away and offers a stunning view of Waikiki and the vast surrounding ocean. Travel a little further and you can visit the turtles in Turtle Bay and experience the famous waves of North Shore. And, of course, you must take the time to visit Pearl Harbor; an important chapter in American history.
