--About This Property--

Escape and unwind at Night Sky at Rocky Creek! This beautiful Texas Hill Country home is tucked away just enough to see every star in our big Texas sky, while still being only minutes away from all of your favorite destinations such as Whitewater Amphitheater, Guadalupe River Floating, Canyon Lake Marina, Wimberley, Gruene, and so much more! The location is perfect for a reunion with friends, family gatherings, or a relaxing couples retreat to reset and revive yourself. The spacious backyard provides a tranquil setting for a family picnic, roasting s’mores around the fire pit, or watching your favorite movie while enjoying the hot tub!

--The House--

Situated on a quiet, secluded street, this home has deer and fox roaming the property at all times of the day, and even has a feeder in the backyard for you to enjoy your coffee and watch the wildlife. The large back porch provides plenty of room for guests to fire up the gas grill and enjoy outdoor dining for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Relax by the large fire pit area (firewood available locally) or take a relaxing soak in the hot tub, all while having a wide-open view of the Texas night sky! The property has plenty to keep everyone entertained including a full game room that has shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, soft-tipped darts, and a 50-inch flat screen TV. The outdoor area includes corn-hole, washers, and a roll-around flat screen TV to enjoy your favorite movies or sporting event.

The house is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar, washer and dryer, cozy bedding and linens, hi-speed internet, and a TV in every room with Netflix, YouTubeTV, and Disney Plus included (other streaming channels are available for you to use with your own login).
The home sleeps eight guests comfortably and has an entertaining open layout in the living room and dining room area. The Master Suite has a private bathroom with large walk-in shower and double vanity. The other three bedrooms have plenty of space for guests and provide plenty of privacy. The second bathroom is in the hallway and is central to all bedrooms.

All linens and ample amounts of fresh towels (including spa/hot tub towels) are provided. Extra blankets and linens will also be available if needed.

The driveway and available on-site parking has plenty of room for vehicles and boats, and there are electrical outlets conveniently located on the side of the house and near the driveway for charging boat batteries if needed.

Great stay!

I highly recommend staying at Michael’s place. This location is central to all great hill country favorites! Jacob’s well, Gruene Hall, Fredricksburg, you name it! Property was great and even enjoyed our coffee with the deer. I will definitely book again with Michael

Such a great stay!!!

Overall, this trip was super amazing. The house was exquisite. There was so much to do from the game room to the Jacuzzi to even feeding the deer by the fire pit. Me and my family will definitely be coming back dealing with the house. Owner was very easy.

Girls Trip

Nice, clean, quaint accommodations. The property is beautiful, and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the deer and various wildlife. Beds are very comfortable. The property owner was engaged, sent wonderful information in regard to our stay and surrounding areas. Quick to respond. Our group would def recommend this home for your Canyon Lake stay.

Family fun

This property was a good fit for our family of 3 adults and I child. Our grandson was attending day camp nearby, so the location was good and he loved playing the games in the garage. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had most items we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the deer. Our host was very responsive when we made one request while we were there and also when I made suggestions after our stay.

Great house in great location

My group of seven, all in our 30's, had a great weekend here. The hot tub was an awesome amenity for relaxing after a day of wineries and hiking. The location was perfect, with everything we needed within a 20 minute drive. The deer that showed up every morning were a nice touch. We also made good use of the game room. The neighboring houses were much closer than we anticipated, but luckily, they were both vacant. We did encounter a small hiccup, but the host was quick to reply and remedy the situation. Everyone in my group enjoyed the stay and we'd all come again.

Canyon Lake retreat

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Canyon Lake retreat house. The owners were great about answering questions and responding quickly.The location was amazing. We were close to a lot of fun things to do in the area. The kitchen was easy to use and well stocked for a group who enjoy cooking at home. The air conditioning was on point for the hot July days. We all loved the gameroom and outdoor hot tub. The nature around was was beautiful. We saw a lot of deer. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to others.

Amazing place to relax and recharge

We had our family (4 adult children, my mother, my husband and me). We enjoyed sipping our coffee while watching the deer eat in the back yard. Dripping Springs, Fredericksburg, and Wimberely are within easy reach. We toured the Dripping Springs Distillery. A definite must do! We ate Wimberely Cafe and did some shopping in the square. Another must do! We enjoyed challenging each other to ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, and Foosball. One of the best parts was unwinding in the hot tub. We look forward to coming back!

Annual Sibling Getaway

My siblings and I always look for a peaceful place to unwind. The home is 20-30 minutes from all the local towns like Wimberley and Gruene, TX. Michael was very nice and responsive!

BEST GIRLS WEEKEND!!!

We had a GREAT time during our stay! The house was everything we had hoped for and more! The wildlife that comes up to the back porch was beautiful!!! Quiet neighborhood, never felt uncomfortable at all during our stay! The owner was so easy to work with and communicated very well! We will definitely be staying again!!

Amazing place for family and friends!

This house was absolutely perfect for our getaway with family and friends, and the owner always stayed in contact to make sure our stay was great. The house is clean, quiet, and close to all of the fun stuff to do in the area. The house is equipped with something for everyone, and the game room and outdoor games were a huge hit with the kids. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of activities. We will definitely be booking this place again!

Fabulous and Relaxing Trip

We had a fabulous time here, house is exactly as advertised....I would definitely stay here again!! So quiet and relaxing, but still close to anything you need. House was super clean, beds were so comfortable, and plenty of space for all of us. Loved drinking my coffee on the back patio and watching all the deer--so awesome!!

Perfect for Family Getaway

The first things that caught my eye is the jacuzzi, then there’s so much activities you can do like the foosball, table tennis, shuffleboard, boardgames, outdoor corn hole and ready-made bonefire. Minutes away from canyon lake but we decided to stay in the house for 2 nights since it was cold. My family and I had so much fun and we ddnt run out of things to do. The house is new and clean, all the necessities are complete. It was def a great experience. I highly recommend it!

Our game room offers endless entertainment for kids and adults alike. The back patio has a hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor tv to relax and enjoy the evening while you cook your favorite dinner on the gas grill. The surrounding wildlife provides year round entertainment, and one of our favorite things to do is enjoy coffee on the patio while watching the deer around the feeder.
