TÀmÀ rantahotelli on tÀydellinen perhejuhlia, suuret perheet tai vain suuret ystÀvÀryhmÀt! ItÀpuolen sijainti tarjoaa runsaasti auringonpaistetta ja mahtavia auringonlaskuja. On suuri kahden hehtaarin ruohoinen nurmikko lasten leikkiÀ varten eikÀ naapureita molemmin puolin talon lÀhellÀ. Koska piha on erittÀin tilava, joudut kÀvelemÀÀn noin 100 metriÀ (jalkapallokentÀn pituus) varovasti kaltevalla kiinteistöllÀ rannalle. Kiinteistö kapenee kohti ranta-aluetta, jossa mökit lÀhentyvÀt toisiaan. Kiinteistön vieressÀ on kivi ajotie, joka ajaa veteen ihmisille, jotka eivÀt pysty kÀvelemÀÀn tÀtÀ etÀisyyttÀ. Aivan ruokasalin ulkopuolella on kansi, johon mahtuu noin 5 paikkaa. Monet ihmiset nauttivat pianosalista, jossa heillÀ on lauluja perheen kanssa. Kodissa on myös paljon nokkeja ja klanneja, joissa voit nauttia hiljaisesta ajasta poissa ryhmÀstÀ. Tietysti voit myös tehdÀ hiukan aurinkoa rannalla kuunnellen laulavia aaltoja tai rentoutua nurmikolla yhden suuren varjossa olevan puun alla.

Ranta on kaikki pienet litteÀt kivit (liuskeöljy), ja siinÀ on kansi ja 45 jalka-telakka. Nurmikolta ranta-alueelle on joitain portaita (n. 20). Vesi on erittÀin puhdasta, ja tÀllÀ alueella ei ole rikkaruohoja. Se on kristallinkirkas ja nÀet helposti pohjan. Se on mukava asteittainen kÀvelymatka veteen ja on noin kolme jalkaa syvÀ telakan pÀÀssÀ, mikÀ on hienoa lapsille - ei pudotuksia. KÀyttöösi on kaksi pelastusliiveillÀ varustettua kajakkia. ErittÀin suurille ryhmille omistamme myös toisen kodin lyhyen kÀvelymatkan pÀÀssÀ kolmella makuuhuoneella ja vuodepaikoilla 10, joista voit kysyÀ. Auburn on vain nopean ajomatkan (muutaman mailin) pÀÀssÀ, joten se on erittÀin kÀtevÀ ostosmahdollisuuksiin, ravintoloihin, puistoihin jne. Great house for our annual "Jane Austen Weekend". Three generations of family women, totaling 16, had a great time cooking, eating, chatting and watching Jane Austen movies. Beautiful views of the sunset and lake, with easy access to the shore and a comfortable deck overlooking the lake. The younger members had fun around a campfire making stores.Easy drives to Seneca Falls, Auburn and Skaneateles.This is an older home that's nicely kept. There are several fold-up cots that easily move into bedrooms for extra people. The booking and communication with the owner were very easy and prompt. Thank you Christine for a great weekend.

The property is ideal for small children, lots of room to play outside, the lake is assessable and shallow for a good distance from the shore.The kitchen is well equipped for large family meals.There are interesting places to go and see There are 6 bedrooms and sufficient beds for the listed number of visitors.It is a comfortable, but not fancy property.It fully met our expectations.

This was a great place to have a family reunion. There is a nice big yard and a wonderful waterfront area. Having 6 bedrooms was helpful also. They are smaller than they look online but It worked out.

This house with lake view and lake access was exactly as described and was everything we needed for our extended family's vacation. Everyone had a great time!The host was responsive and checkin was easy. The house is roomy and also has roll away cots available that would be suitable for children. Some positives include having lots of towels provided for the bath & kitchen, plenty of good quality paper products (tp & paper towels), trash bags, cleaning supplies, and a well stocked kitchen with enough flatware, dishes, glasses, and mugs for everyone. There was a great kids play area, life vests for kids, Gain laundry detergent & dryer sheets, comfortable living spaces, sturdy chairs for dining, and enough room for our family to dine together. The lake dock was awesome. While the dock isn't fancy, it was just perfect for watching sunsets, swimming with kids, fishing at sunrise, and docking a rented pontoon boat. Loved having access to the kayaks. The deck is beautiful with deck furniture, kids water toys, and extra lounge chairs. A few things to know for those considering a stay include the trek to the lake being a healthy walk when hauling kids or supplies. Totally manageable, but narrow with steep steps down to the dock. We brought a giant raft for the lake and decided it would be more trouble than its worth to haul down. Also, the house itself could use some TLC. It's an older house and although well furnished, it shows its age.

Perfect Lake House Getaway

We had a great stay at this beautiful lake house for my 40th birthday. The place was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax with family and friends. Christine was super helpful and made everything easy. We loved the lake access and had a great time kayaking. Would definitely stay again!

Dated but tidy. Cobwebs and ants. Think we must have been first guests of the season. Maybe they hadn’t fully been ready. Still better to be together than a hotel. Weather prevented much use of the dock which drew us to choose this place.

Cozy friend bonding experience

We all had a wonderful stay at the home across a long weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The kitchen has plenty of space for many people to cook. Living room comfortably fit 12-18 people and the temperature was comfortable.Only thing to note was the piano was fairly out of tune and the trundle pull out was a bit dirty but otherwise everything was clean.

Quite Disappointed, won't recommend

1. The property is dishonestly labeled as a 6 bedroom house. We had 6 families with 12 adults and 8 kids. It's not an actual 6 bedroom house where 6 families can live in one bedroom each. 2 bedrooms in the basement were in very very poor condition. One of them is not a bedroom at all, it could barely be labeled as a den. It was extremely difficult for us to manage everyone properly. 2. Top floor bathroom door had no lock. We had put a basket in front of it to notify others outside that it's occupied. 3. The entire basement floor is very dark and cold it doesn’t have any insulation or following fire rules for the safety. 4. The folding beds were of no use as well. Most of the side springs were missing and all the mattresses were not good for use. Not recommended, wasn't a fun trip. We go to cottages all the time, this was not up to the mark.

Lovely Owasco home with a great view.

Wonderful accommodations for our group of 8 adults. The house can handle many more and the lower level would be a perfect hangout for kids or teens. The place is very nicely furnished and decorated. We found a spacious kitchen, nice dining room table, and a very comfortable living room to relax in. The weather wasn't cooperative so we did not take advantage of the dock/boats, but we did get to sit by the water and relax between rain showers. Family vacation

Our family had an incredible time at this house. It was perfect for all ages. The kids had an amazing time swimming. It was perfect for small children up through adults. The owner was so kind and quick to act when the new dishwasher had a leak. She sent a plumber and it was fixed within a few hours. We had a great time hiking nearby and loved the town of Auburn.

We had a nice stay, I should have read it better I thought we were lake front so was a little inconvenient to walk down there and also not convenient to hang out at the lake, but we made it work. Also the 2 kayaks were gross all ripped up and not usable we only brought 1 thinking we would have 3 and so we only had the 1 we brought, so was also disappointed with that.We did have an ant problem in the kitchen, that should be taken care of . The house it self was ok it definitely needs some updating and work in and out. The bbq was not as clean as the owner wanted us to leave it, but we did. Overall it served its purpose and we had a nice time. The Lake is Beautiful. We rented a boat and that’s the time we spent on the lake. The property is big and is nice to hang out in the yard. Over all we had a nice time

We enjoyed our time at Owasco Lake. The house was well stocked with linens, cookware, dishes and cleaning products. The house does need some cosmetic detailing and upgrading. The large yard was perfect for our grands! The actual lake frontage is very small, but we made due.

Making memories

Lots of room for all of my family. Great communication with our host, and thankful for her letting us start our vacation a little earlier. The property was great for whiffle ball games, volleyball games, and kicking a soccer ball around. Rain or shine, we made the most of the space. The home was very spacious and had plenty of essentials. Having the extra fridge downstairs was great too! Thank you!

Large home and lawn! Crystal clear water here and nice gradual walk out, good for kids.

Large home benefits with a great lawn for kids to play, and waterfront too at a modest cost compared to homes this large that sit directly on the water. Cost is lower than similar homes because of the 100 yard walk through the lawn to get to our private lakefront.
