If you're looking for a luxurious ski retreat a short drive from NYC, then look no further. Perched on a mountainside, Bump Mountain Retreat is centrally located within Windham, the “Gem of the Catskills”. This brand-new house boasts all the modern amenities you could ask for, and feels as cozy as an alpine log cabin.

Designed to capture the beauty of its surroundings, Bump Mountain Retreat boasts panoramic views of the northern Catskills, which have inspired American figures for centuries.

The main floor includes a heated floor mudroom, a washer/dryer room, then an open floor plan hosting a full kitchen, dining room, great room with a wood burning fireplace, outdoor deck (partially covered), and bathroom with a door to an outdoor shower. Next to the great room is the master bedroom featuring a gas fireplace, walk-in closet, and master bathroom (standalone bathtub separate from shower).

The second floor boasts sweeping views over the great room and northern Catskills, and the two main bedrooms each equipped with a Queen-sized bed, sharing a Jack & Jill full bathroom. Down the hall is the Parlor, equipped with a gas fireplace, mini fridge, baby grand keyboard (available for use upon request), full bathroom and outdoor balcony.

The basement is where the fun happens: dartboard, pool table, foosball table, wooden bar with an ice maker, wine cooler, mini fridge and sink. Not to mention the sauna, full bath and guest room. Upon walking outside you can take a dip in our 10-person in-ground hot tub, with custom lighting. Just a few steps away is our heated in-ground pool, available from May-September.

The house sits on 5.5 acres of land in a quiet residential neighborhood, with 600 acres of NYC DEP owned land available for your use. We are an 8-minute drive to skiing at Windham Mountain Club, and a 5-minute drive to downtown Windham. This is a wonderful area for snowsports (skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, tubing, etc.) and a wonderful summer retreat during the warmer months.
