Lapsille tarkoitettu poniratsastus voidaan järjestää etukäteen hevosten omistajalle lisämaksusta. Kiinteistölle päällystetyt tiet ja tasomainen ympyrä-ajotie mahdollistavat helpon pääsyn, poistumisen ja purkamisen.

Sisätiloihin sisältyy: täyden palvelun keittiö, jossa on 2 uunia, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, 3 kylpyhuonetta, iso ruokasali, iso olohuone, Wi-Fi, satelliitti-TV, iso taulutelevisio, biljardipöytä, takka (mukana puuta) ja Nordic Track Pro -hiihtäjä.

Wonderful place to stay

Outside of the property being amazing, Kim and Bruce were excellent hosts. They thought of just about everything and when we did need something, Kim was very swift and polite with her replies. I along with the 4 friends that stayed with me, highly recommend this destination!

Kim met us and walked us through the entire house when we arrived. The house is so spacious, comfortable and well-stocked with everything you need to cook should you choose to. Our gracious hostess, who was easy to reach and responsive, even provided goodies for us and treats to feed the horses. We enjoyed the hot tub and our grandsons played outside on the play set for hours. The location was perfect for visits to Nederland, Boulder and hiking. While we had no cell signal, the internet was very good at the house. Morning and evening walks around the quiet neighborhood began and ended perfect days at this lovely property.

Charming property - as advertised

Host was wonderful. Very quiet and relaxing setting. Kids fed horses, played basketball and pool. Truly enjoyed our two days at this remote location. Very functional kitchen - ate all meals in house

Great place for a mountain get away!

We really enjoyed staying at the ranch. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and we never felt cramped. We enjoyed wandering the property and interacting with the horses. The hot tub was a welcome sight after a day of hiking. The location made it convenient to get to Boulder and plenty of hiking trails. I would not hesitate to stay here again!! Thanks!!

Peaceful, Beautiful Setting

We were 5 minutes from a family celebration, literally. The setting is gorgeous and I got to see their horses running and playing then they came over and let us all hand feed them. Lots of room and lots to do.

Definitely Recommend!!

Thank you for opening the door to your home! It is very well equipped. My kids had fun feeding the horses and is very spacious. A huge variety of board games and a pool table which they definitely enjoyed. Would definitely recommend to anyone to stay! Colorado was beautiful and you made every effort to make our stay very comfortable.

Beautiful mountains escape

From the moment we walked Into this home, we were in love. The layout was good, the decorations were phenomenal, the outside sitting area next to the jacuzzi was peaceful and scenic. Kim had amenities for us that we never expected, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We thank you Kim!!

Cabin in the woods takes on New Meaning

This lovely old home on an 11 acre horse ranch in the scenic Coal Creek Canyon west of Denver and convenient to Boulder and Golden Colorado is a diamond in the rough. We hosted two of our grandchildren. Great area for kids to play with a terrific playground, room to run, and horses to feed apples to. Easy access to recreational areas in the mountains and a most attentive host.

The comforts of home

The Evans Ranch was a perfect location for us to visit with local family. There is so much more room than the photos show. Kim was very accommodating and was even able to offer a screwdriver for a birthday project I was making for my 90 yo mother in law. We were able to find the Labyrinth up in the field and check out the Cobb house she is having built for her personal space. Such a peaceful and creative space.

Spacious Mountain Home

Nice, quiet, and spacious! We were there for our daughter's small wedding ceremony. Kim made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The home is very clean with lots of space! The wedding ceremony was on the property with trees and mountains in the background, and we had ample parking for our guests. There are horses on the property and Kim left carrots and apples for us to feed them. This is a great place for a family event or quiet get away!

Loved the house we can't wait to go back.

Loved our stay at Evans ranch. The house had lots of room for my entire family on our trip out to visit our son. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Loved the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Living room had plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy some movies in the evening. The house is in a wonderful country location we enjoyed feeding the horse's every morning. Kim was wonderful very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know. We plan on using the house Everytime we visit our son hoping to go out 4 time a year.

From the first contact with Kim during our decision-making process before booking, through our discussion out front as we prepared to leave she was everything we needed or desired as a host. THANK YOU!!! Her home was also everything we wanted and provided what we needed to make our stay memorable and guarantee that we will be back. I also want to say that, I too read the reviews prior to reaching out to ask questions of Kim. While reviews, including this one, are always written though the authors 'filters', I would encourage anyone on-the-fence about booking this property to reach out to Kim and ask, ask, ask. We stayed as a family of 5 in this spacious home. It is a good location to experience hiking trails and wildlife. Kim, the owner is on site and explained all amenities in detail upon arrival. Quiet location, nice terrace and a great stay!

In the middle of trees and horses! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this Coal Creek Canyon location! The house was roomy and well stocked. And we visited with all kinds of birds, bunnies and chipmunks! It was good fun feeding the lovely horses! A great location!

Surrounded by nature

Everything was great. We loved the horses. We fed them all of the apples and carrots. We visited the magical hut and it was very cool. We enjoyed the pool table, hammock, and hot tub (although the water was cloudy from the minerals in the water). We loved seeing the birds, chipmunks, and bunnies. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We were able to visit Table Mountain and the Walker Ranch Trail nearby. We had a wonderful time.

Piece of Heaven

The host Kim was so gracious a very Lovely person . She made sure all was perfect at her beautiful home. There was fresh picked flowers in a vase on the table waiting for you , along with home made muffins .. The house is stocked with everything you would ever need for your stay . The home was very private and the property was gorgeous!I have never stayed at a better place;it was a week of perfection .

Our stay at Kim’s ranch was incredible! My fiancé and I wanted to do a destination wedding in the mountains and the ranch was a perfect location for us. She knew we were going to be getting married during our stay and she was so thoughtful to even plant some beautiful flowers by the house that would bloom in time for our stay. She also put rose petals on the bed shaped as a heart for when we arrived.Kim and her husband built an amazing Cob on the property and it was perfect for my wife to get ready for the wedding and make sure I didn’t see her before she walked down the aisle.She cleared an area for our wedding and had built an altar with perfect mountain view behind it for the ceremony. During the wedding she assisted our guests with parking and even took some great pictures and a video of the ceremony. Our kids especially loved going to say hi and feeding the horses every day. I really liked being close to a number of trails to hike.Being that it is in the mountains there are not a lot of stores, restaurants or bars in the area, but you can get to the city in about 30 minutes to get the supplies you need while you are staying at the ranch. There is also a little gas station/shop right down the road to get a few essentials, but you will pay more there than going to the city.I would highly recommend staying at Kim’s ranch if you get the opportunity. We live in a decent sized city, and staying at an acreage in the mountains was perfect for us.

Rocky Mtn Ranch is a Unique Gem!

We loved our stay at the ranch. The home is the perfect combination of cozy and spacious. Grandpa loved reading his book in the comfy living room while Grandma played pool with young adult grandson. Easy drive to Boulder. We enjoyed feeding the horses too! I felt like I was staying with my favorite aunt. Host Kim thinks of everything that you may need for your stay. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of bath towels and bedding.Kim even made us some delicious brownies! Don’t miss Canyon Coffee, which is a just a 5 minute drive from the ranch. Great quality coffee drinks and pastries and a large gluten free selection with a quirky vibe and outdoor seating. We highly recommend the Rocky Mountain Ranch !

Perfect

We had an amazing stay at the ranch and from the youngest (3 years old) to the oldest (75 years old) everyone enjoyed there stay. Kim was a great host and communication was easy. We stayed 5 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend to stay here.

Ranch in the Mountains

The property was easy to get to. The pictures of inside and outside are accurate. Kim supplied apples and carrots to feed the horses and she welcomed people walking around the property. Kim was very responsive to our needs. Would recommend this property to others.

Super Comfy Cozy!!

Such a wonderful, charming place to stay: quiet, calming, relaxing, and rejuvenating. And only a few miles up the canyon from the road that leads to Boulder, Golden, or Denver, so you don't have to drive a lot of windy roads if you don't want to. You can always continue up the road to Nederlands.... Although it's not ADA 'certified' our almost 90 year old aunt was able to maneuver around the place just fine with her walker and our 7 year old cat love the patio doors and big living room windows to look outside and try to figure out the horses. One morning while drinking coffee by the big living room windows a doe and two young ones came right by the window to say 'Hi'. Kim was very accessible and super great to chat with!!

Beautiful property

It was a joy to stay here. We were traveling from out of state to take our daughter to see her specialists in Aurora and to be close enough to enjoy the mountains. This was the perfect location for accessing both locations. The property owners left apples and carrots to feed the horses, which my kids loved. The boys enjoyed the pool table and metal detecting outside. The home was clean and we enjoyed being able to cook in the very organized kitchen.

Property Owner has been in the hospitality and travel business for over 30 yrs, has owned her own 2 successful Storefront Travel Agencies with a specialty in scuba dive tours, and has worked on a yacht B&B. In 2012, she began offering her Ranch property for vacation rentals. She knows what good hospitality means and strives to make your experience on the Ranch a good one! If you have a special occasion, please advise the Owner in advance and she'll be happy to decorate for you. Special Events available for a fee. Catering and in-home cooking classes available with arrangement prior to arrival.

This is our family home. We liked the idea that we could share our slice of heaven with others looking for the true Rocky Mountain high experience!

When the owner /s in town, the family may be on land. It's 11 acres, so there's lots of room to roam! If owners are in town during a booking, they stay in a separate, private area with a separate entrance (which isn't part of the Vacation Rental). The owners respect guests' privacy but remain available to service if needed. Otherwise, owners will never enter the main Ranch House during your stay.

Special Events; parties, weddings, retreats, etc., and catering are available for extra fees. Must be arranged well in advance and pre- approved by the Owner.

Beautiful Views, wildlife, serenity, fresh mountain air, hiking and mountain biking nearby, close to skiing, gaming, and shopping. Drive time is 45 min to downtown Denver, 25-30 min to Boulder and Nederland, and 20 minutes to Downtown Golden.

Lovely Coal Creek Canyon Community. We are away from City lights so the Stars at night from our land are truly wonderful! Most of the time you can see the Milky Way -- extra special to gaze upon while soaking in the outdoor Hot Tub!
