Tämä 4-makuuhuoneen 2-alkoveinen koti on tasaisella, puuhaaraisella 2/3 hehtaarin litteällä tontilla, ja siinä on kaunis puutyö, joka luo klassisen hytti-tunnelman. Kaupungin sydämessä sijaitseva Twain Harte on lähellä kaupunkia, mutta hiljaisella kadulla. Mökki on ihanteellinen suurille perheille, nukkuu 10: llä 3 queen-vuodetta, 1 parivuode ja 2 erillistä vuodetta viereisissä alkovissa. Kaksi puhallettavaa kuningatarpatjaa on myös saatavana. Kaikissa huoneissa on kaukosäätimen tuulettimet. Yläkerran kylpyamme on uusittu kokonaan, korostettuna tilavalla kivilattian suihkulla. Kaapeli, Smart TV ja langaton Internet ovat saatavana, sekä runsaasti lautapelejä, karaokea ja sulkapallojoukkoa.

Vieraat voivat nauttia valtavasta, kauniista uudesta kannestasi puiden alla, täydellisesti rentoutumiseen ja viihdyttämiseen runsaalla istuimella ja suurella kaasugrillaamisella. Tai rentoudu suuressa riippumatossa kannelta tai 3 hengen keinu puiden alla.

Olemme Twain Harte Lake -jäseniä, vieraillamme on etuoikeus ostaa päivälippuja. Tarjoamme rantatuoleja, pyyhkeitä ja joitain lautat. Ja rentouttava kierros Twain Harten golfkentällä on vain 1/4 mailin päässä.

Beautiful large cabin in the trees

Gail was friendly and answered all my questions promptly. Everything you need is provided including kitchen towels, soap, foil, plastic wrap, spices, a NEW in the wrapper kitchen sponge, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, laundry soap, everything! It was hot when we visited so we used the ceiling fans and pulled out the floor fans. Opened the windows and by bedtime it was cool enough to sleep comfortably. The property is walking distance to downtown where we enjoyed exploring the live music, restaurants and mini golf. We chose to drive to the lake because we had a bunch of stuff. Can’t bring your own food in but the snack shack makes restaurant quality food at a reasonable price. The cabin is comfortable, clean and the neighborhood is quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in the Pines

The home was warm with knotty pine walls alongside nicely updated bathrooms.We each had comfortable rooms and slept well in the fresh mountain air.We were in a prime place to walk into town and enjoy a meal and also to wander and explore, hike or swim in a lake.Great communication with a quick response to questions.It may have been our best place ever in Twain Harte!

Wonderful family forest getaway

We loved this cabin! The layout and location were perfect for us. We had 3 children with us and there was plenty of room for them to play outdoors. It was also a short walk to multiple eating options.

Outside:- Only one cushion for the entire deck furniture - Grill Filthy and rusty- Lighter button didn't work- When I turned on the gas, it smelled, so not sure if there is a leak- Wasn't able to use the grill Kitchen:- Several dishes, pans, etc...were dirty- Coffee machine leaks- Handle to the oven loose- Lodge pans were rusty and not seasoned- No dish or hand soap in the kitchen- Drawers were dirty and not organizedLiving Room:- No coffee table- Couch was really old - Tried to use the pellet heater, but it didnt work- Giant heater gave off terrible smell even after running for 15m- Wifi didn't work and when I went to check the modem (which was behind the tv) I was shocked by the amount of dust and dirt behind the tv set along with an old filthy stuffed animal. - Since the wifi didn't work, we were unable to use the smart tvUpstairs:- Window treatment in the bedroom over an open window- window treatment falling of several windows- Lack of window shades- Dresser missing a handle- Drawer liners stained or missing- Bathroom - looks like they did a remodel, but clearly the job wasnt completed, because there is no baseboard molding- No window shade in several roomSome positives:- Pac Man Machine was fun- Location to the downtown area was great- Shower upstairs was great- Deck was large and in good condition

Two Weeks in Twain Harte!

Wonderful two weeks in Twain Harte. The large lot was great for the kids to play in. We had deer visit every night. Great location - close to all Twain Harte has to offer. Loved the large deck where we were able to hear the live music coming from the town center on the weekends. Our large group appreciated the two full baths and the washer and dryer was so convenient. Gail was an amazing host. Hope to return here again!

Enjoyed our stay. Gail is a great host! Very accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. Good location with plenty of parking. We had 2 boats and 3 vehicles with room to spare. All parking is off the public street. Huge deck with plenty of room to relax. Definitely would book again!

Beautiful location & more than a few hassels

On the plus side, we were exactly at the elevation where there was lush forest, but no snow to dig out from, yet a mere 30 minute drive to ski slopes, snow parks and gorgeous Pinecrest Lake. There was a lovely, easy 4-mile walk just a short drive away. This house had old-fashioned charm, plenty of hot water for showers and a table we could all sit around. Our host, Gail, was readily accessible by text or email. On the negative side, both the furnace and pellet stove failed to work at different points of our trip. We had to spend time on the phone trouble-shooting. (A written manual for these devices AND all other instructions would have been helpful.) I had to ask for the Instruction Packet to be emailed to us. VRBO listed this house as having a hot tub, which it did NOT. Gail, informed us of this just days before our stay, even though we had booked 2 months prior. She offered to buy us pizza to compensate for the inconvenience, but we were looking forward to cooking together. Sadly, the kitchen did not have enough large cooking pots or serving bowls. We were charged a $1500 deposit, so I was nervous about all the rickety furniture and the pilot going out on the furnace. The house is listed as having beds for 10 people, however, one of the beds was in an alcove that was way too cold. (Plastic was place over most of the windows for insulations.) Finally, I had to ask for the deposit back after nearly a week.

Dad's Funeral

The host Gail put a bouquet of flowers and a sympathy card on the dining room table on our arrival day. It was very comforting. The cabin was perfect for my family to be able to come and go for the family events that occurred during the four days we stayed. Definitely would stay at this property in the future especially under better circumstances.

Great deck, close to town

The cabin has many advantages, being on a lovely tree-filled lot, easy walking distance into town. The large deck is wonderful and the lake privileges are a plus. There’s plenty of parking and plenty of fans. We found a few problems, however. There were windows next to beds with no screens. That was a safety concern with small children. Also, several windows were taped shut, which made it harder to cool the rooms at night. Some of the windows had no coverings, making it a challenge to block out the sun/heat. Several bedroom lamps didn’t work. So the window issues were a significant problem for our group, but everything else about the cabin was fine.

Great vacation spot!

This property was great! Big outdoor deck and lots of space outside for the kids to run around and play. Conveniently located and getting to town/restaurants is very walkable if you want to take a break from driving. We spent almost every day of our stay at Twain Harte lake- only a 5 min drive and the kids loved it!

Our New Twain Harte Getaway

This was the Twain Harte getaway that we were all looking for. The property had a cabin feel with all of the amenities of home that fit our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids under 8) perfectly. It was clean, everything worked and was in the perfect location to town. Gail was a delight to work with and provided ALL of the information you could possibly need, not just about the property, but the area in general. She even checked on us to make sure there were no issues once we arrived. We will definitely use this property again in the future. Thanks Gail for a sharing your home and for a wonderful experience.

Rustic Cozy Cabin

Our group of seven adults fit comfortably. Loved the cabin feel and furnishing. Internet very reliable. Dining table was big enough for all of us. So close to town, very walkable. We had snow flurries during the day. Saw deer every day!

Would stay again!

Excellent cabin, sleeps a lot and has a lot of parking, right by town. Has everything in the kitchen and laundry room you’d need. Enjoyed staying there with my family, and central location for playing in the snow and visiting town.

My grandfather built this cabin in 1940 for his family. After my father died, my mother continued to vacation at Twain Harte with the four kids in my family. We'd stay the entire summer and loved it. Still do. Currently, I own the property along with my brother and we have improved it throughout the years - new roof, foundations, siding, interior walls, new electrical, new plumbing and tankless water heater, log woodwork, new deck, a completely remodeled upstairs bath, and added a dishwasher, garbage disposal and more cabinets in its traditional cabin kitchen. The cabin is very updated with a vintage feel. If you're looking for new, luxury vacation rental, please ask me. Am happy to provide some recommendations.

Large flat property with parking for 10+ cars...many lots in Twain Harte are smaller with little parking. Great place for kids to safely play away from the street. Cabin sits among many tall pine trees but is less than 1/3 mile from the little town of Twain Harte, and 2/3 mile from Twain Harte Lake. Deer visit the property often.
