2-tason talo (plus kellarikerros / ullakko) kauniissa West Central Fort Wayne -keskuksessa, joka on alle mailin päässä keskustan nähtävyyksistä, joita Fort Wayne tarjoaa ... Pysy viileänä kesällä tässä 120-vuotisessa kodissa, jossa on ilmastointi /lämmitys. Se on uusittu moderneilla mukavuuksilla, jotta vierailustasi tulisi mukavaa. Alle mailin päässä kaikista FW: n keskustan maamerkeistä.

Talo on 2375sf plus kellarikerros, joten tämä on hieno koti perheen kokoontumisiin. Suuri laatoitettu edessä oleva kuisti on upea katselijoille.
Äskettäin asennettu pelihuone (7ft 3-in-1-allas / pingispöytä / ilmakiekko pöytä) ja lastenhuone (liitutaulun seinällä) kellarissa. Jokaiselle jotakin täällä.
8. 3 mailia (15 - 20 minuuttia) Fort Waynen lentokentälle.
Koska se on lähellä keskustaa, useimpiin kohteisiin pääsee 15-20 minuutissa.

Lähitulevaisuudessa aiomme ottaa käyttöön tiilipatio yksityisyyssuojalla ja lämmitettyllä päällystetyllä ajotiellä. :)

The place was lovely! We had about 18 guests and there were plenty of towels, plates, and the kitchen was well stocked. The design of the home is such that those who rise early can sit and talk without bothering those still sleeping. Parking was limited due to construction but we managed fine. No yard to play in, but we spent our time elsewhere. We all slept great there.

An elegant home

A well-maintained, historic property close to downtown. Room access is adjusted based on size of your group, so don't assume paying the list price gets you the whole house, as the host gets to decide how many bedrooms you need. The claim of common areas in the home monitored by cameras was somewhat off-putting, if true. Off street parking was a plus.

Family reunion due to family funerals

We had a group of 11 people coming from all over the country gathering in Fort Wayne due to having two family funerals this past weekend. The location was great and close to everything. The host has done an amazing job in restoring this historic home and providing everything that could possibly be needed to have a home away from home. It was a great gathering place for all of us to meet together, so even those who were local to Fort Wayne could stop by for a bit. We enjoyed gathering around the kitchen and dining room table.

I had an amazing experience staying at this rental house. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with shops and downtown just a short walk away. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Granddaughters wedding with entire family in attendance under one roof. Four generations including 75 yr old great grand parents to 10 month old great grandson. House provided ample space for everyone to be comfortable and a beautiful setting for a momentus occasion.

No Smoke House--YAY!

Wanda couldn't have been more helpful. She is extremely responsive. It was the perfect house for our family to gather. Our grandson enjoyed the child's room with all the books and train toys. Staying in a smoke-free environment was wonderful.

Sibling Reunion

We totally enjoyed our five day stay in this beautifully restored historic home. It served as a comfortable "home base" as we actively re-discovered our hometown! The central location was perfect for our family and close to our childhood church,....and Coney Is and Henrys and Museums and parks and shopping and the library (genealogy). A great find for future trips to FT Wayne!!!

Beautiful Historic Home in the Heart of Ft Wayne

My family and I rented this home for a weekend, and it was everything we had hoped for! We’ve always admired the historic downtown area but never had the opportunity to see inside one of these old homes. The host has done a tremendous job restoring / maintaining the beauty of this old mansion. We had absolutely everything we needed while we stayed, and everyone was entertained all weekend. We had cousins visit during the day, and the kids all had so much fun with the variety of games - pool, foosball, ping pong, video games, and even a little play area for the younger kids. We greatly appreciated the separation of recyclable items into paper v cans/bottles v rubbish, and the classic reuse of paper bags, plastic bags, and the offer of pulling from the stockpile of clean plastic containers to take leftovers along with us. The location was excellent, with easy driving to everywhere we wanted to go, and was even walking distance to our favorite hangout - Coney Island. Plus ample parking in the driveway on College. Communication with the property owner was easy and supportive. We have found our go-to place next time we visit!

Beautiful, welcoming home for family gathering

This historic home was perfect for our family's gathering! This home graciously provided ample space for our family to gather and allowed us to really enjoy our time together. The bedrooms were well-sized for our needs and the beds were comfortable. The home was only a few minutes away from outings to the Fort Wayne Zoo, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservancy, and the Children's Science Central museum. Thank-you to the host for making your lovely home available to us!

Baseball Trip

5 high school friends (we are now close to 60 years old) get together every summer for a baseball weekend. The house and location were great! Close to the stadium/breweries/bars (and Starbucks for breakfast). Host was tremendous to work; very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this historic house for families and groups visiting Fort Wayne.

Timeless Treasure

A beautiful, spacious, and comfortable home with timeless stateliness and beauty along with highly functioning modern updates. The breezes while lounging on the large front porch or in the back garden were a welcome respite from the sun. Our boys enjoyed the game rooms of the basement and 3rd floors. Each bedroom was comfortable and the bathrooms boasted excellent water pressure and immediately hot water. The air conditioning was abundant, which kept us cool. The dining room was spacious and the kitchen had every appliance you could want. Though there was a hiccup with access at check in, both VRBO and the home host worked efficiently to resolve. The home was clean, safe, and very conveniently located for heading to downtown eateries or running out for groceries. We were well cared for. We highly recommend this home and would happily stay here again!

Home Sweet Home Away

This home is immaculate and gorgeous. The host is very responsive and kind. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. If you have time take a stroll to see the many historical homes and unique architecture. You will immediately appreciate the care and originality of the home's heritage. My grandchildren loved the playroom. There is a space and privacy for all. This will be our go to place when we visit Ft. Wayne again.

Previously, I was a practicing anesthesiologist - until I had an aortic dissection and required emergency open heart surgery. I had significant complications. Later I became a single mother by choice. In 2011 I left Los Angeles to live a quieter safer life with my son. We rent out our home in Manhattan Beach so we go back to LA frequently. Shortly after purchasing this house, we moved to Zeeland, MI, so we return to the Washington house frequently to finish/update/improve it to make it cozy/comfortable for our guests.

Please follow house rules...I'm not a corporation....I'm just a single mom who put a lot of heart/soul/money into this house. :)

This house is 120 years old, but preserved immaculately. West Central is a beautiful neighborhood just adjacent to the downtown that is undergoing huge development. From this house, you can walk everywhere...10-20 minute walk. The house is a 15 minute drive to all other places in the city.
