Principio on Via dell'Alloro, hiljaisella kadulla 300 metrin päässä Duomo, jossa Giotto asuivat! Se on ensimmäisessä kerroksessa klassinen Florentine rakennus, jossa vain 20 vaiheet laaja ja helppo tikkaat mennä ylös.
Se mahtuu neljä henkilöä: kaksi queen-size-vuode makuuhuoneessa ja kaksi mukava vuodesohva olohuoneessa. Principio on täysin kunnostettu heinäkuussa 2016 ja on varustettu kaikki tarvittavat mukavuudet. Kaikki on aivan uusi.
- Kun keittiö / olohuone: astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni grillillä, kahvinkeitin, vedenkeitin, induktio liesi ja induktio astioita, leivänpaahdin, italialainen kahvinkeitin, bluetooth kaiuttimet sulautettujen radio kytkeä älypuhelimeen / tabletti ja toistaa musiikkia.
- Vuonna kylpyhuone: tilava suihku kaksi ihmistä, pyyhkeet, hiustenkuivaaja.
- Vuonna kodinhoitohuone: pyykinpesukone, kuivausrumpu, silitysrauta ja lauta. On monia laundromats keskustassa Florence, too.

Via dell'Alloro on hiljaisella kadulla Firenzen sydämessä, vain muutaman askeleen päässä Piazza del Duomo ja kävelymatkan päässä Santa Maria Novellan rautatieasemalta. Se on täydellinen tukikohta päiväretki Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Bologna. Jopa Rooma, Venetsia ja Milano ovat vain muutaman tunnin päässä ansiosta nopea juna, joka pysähtyy Santa Maria Novellan rautatieasemalta.

Enjoyed our stay here!

Great location close to the train. We loved being able to open the windows during the day to let the light and fresh air in. It was nice to close the shutters at night too. Lots of great coffee bars and restaurants within a block or two. We also enjoyed the big shower. Lucia was a great host and we appreciate the good communication!

Great location with modern amenities

We loved staying in the apartment! It was my favorite during our whole stay in Italy. It is worth mentioning that there is a clothes dryer in addition to the washer. It made doing laundry mid-trip easy. Also there are USB ports on either side of bed for convenient charging. The apartment was very clean and decorated really well. It was very convenient to the train station as well as duomo. Thanks Lucia for a wonderful stay!

Spacious apartment with comfortable bed. Bathroom is large with excellent shower. Washer plus dryer was a plus for us as we will be traveling for a bit. Lucia was helpful. Nice touches for travelers like USB charger on both sides of the bed and maps and tour books. We would have liked an additional comfy chair in the living room

Very comfortable and clean

Lucia keeps a beautiful property that is bright, clean, and comfortable with modern amenities - right down to the USB ports on each side of the bed. Despite the age of the location (everything is old in Florence!), the apartment felt like new. The building is secure and appears to be inhabited by young families. And, of course, the location is very convenient to everything you'll want to see in Florence. Molto bella!

Absolutely amazing!

Fantastic location and beautiful apartment! Lucia and Walter were wonderful hosts and greeted us after a long day of travel with a bottle of wine. Very accommodating and we had lovely conversation with them. The apartment was recently updated and you can tell. Had all the essentials we needed and in an absolutely perfect area to walk to all the sites. We loved that it had a washer and dryer! Very hard to find in Italy and greatly appreciated after a week of travel. We hope to be able to visit again!

Spacious and well-appointed apartment in great location

The apartment was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Thoughtful touches abound, including complete documentation on all of the apartment's features and appliances along with recommendations for local dining, sightseeing and transportation. We really appreciated having efficient, separate washer and dryer given that our stay was in the middle of a three-week trip. Lucia is very communicative and was flexible in meeting us for check-in when our arrival was a bit delayed. If you plan to explore Florence, you won't likely find a more lovely apartment so close to everything. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Apartment!

My best friend and I stayed here for several nights during an extended trip through Europe. This was our favorite stay during our entire trip! The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed and more. It was so helpful to be able to do laundry while we were there too. One of our favorite parts about this apartment was the guest book where previous guests left their own recommendations from their stay. Many of the things we did around Florence were recommendations from that guest book or from Lucia. Lucia was very responsive and proactive with communication. I already want to come back to Florence, just so I can stay at this apartment again! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Florence apartment

An excellent apartment within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Close to the train station. Restaurants and shops galore around the property. Lots of amenities in the apartment including a washer/dryer. A/C was working well. Nice bathroom with a good sized shower which we discovered was a little unusual in Italy! The apartment is up one flight of steps which were a little difficult with big suitcases but manageable. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was there to meet us and go over things with us in the apartment. All in all, a very good VRBO experience.

Excellent location and accommodations, great price, and perfect service!

I can't imagine a better way to visit Florence! We came at peak tourist season and in hot weather, but this apartment made those issues insignificant. You can't beat the location -- my children were amazed at all the things we could see only steps from our apartment, everyday! The apartment was beautiful; simple, but with everything we needed. Lucia was extremely helpful, particularly in helping us prepare for our trip and helping us arrive in Florence and get started on our tour. The recommendations Lucia provided were all great, and there was plenty of material in the apartment to guide us anywhere else we wanted to go. Thank you, Lucia and Gregorio, for your help! I hope we get to come back someday soon!!

Firenze paradise

My wife and booked this Vrbo not having any idea of where we should be for exploring the city. We could not be any happier with the location as we were merely steps to the dome and all that it has to offer! The apartment was rustic in its appearance as you enter thru the tiny streets. A large entry door for the building leads you to the front door of the unit and its quiet spectacular as you feel yourself slipping back in time. Our Host was extremely gracious making sure we in the building and comfortable. Answering all Our questions and giving us her suggestions of venues and places to see. Five stars for all her efforts! The apartment was comfortable for us. Though we didn’t spend much time In it other than to recharge from the days walking! I would highly recommend anyone to to rent this space. Lucia was fantastic the place was great!

Beautifully appointed and comfortable apartment in a perfect location!

As a preface, my two daughters and I visited 3 cities in Italy, staying in VRBO properties in each place. While everything went well in all 3 apartments, our experience in Florence stood above the others. The owner went above and beyond to be helpful, even offering to meet us at the train station and escort us to the apartment - a short walk which we managed on our own! She had maps, guide books, and information about the apartment and the surrounding area available. It was all appreciated and very helpful. She was also very accommodating during the check-out process, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is lovely, it was very recently renovated so all of the bathroom fixtures, kitchen appliances, ac units, etc are new and are beautiful. While my daughters slept in the bedroom, complete with USB charging outlets - very important to teenage girls! - I slept on the pull out couch which was very comfortable. The bathroom is relatively large. The shower has a rainfall shower head with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is ideal as it is close to the Duomo, the train station, San Lorenzo, the Central Market and any number of other destinations. We walked everywhere with no problem, yet upon returning each evening, were happy for the quiet of her little street. I hope to return to the apartment on my next trip and would without hesitation recommend it to friends and family.

What a perfectly located apartment in Florence. We have been many times to Florence, staying in hotels and apartments but this tops them all! The large shower and bathroom was awesome and the A/C was phenomenal and an unexpected delight!Everything anyone would need is right here. A few nights we had wine and fresh pasta, from the nearby local grocery, and enjoyed dinner in our "home away from home".Our flight was delayed by hours and we stayed in touch with Lucia, who was waiting at the apartment when we finally arrived.Lucia and Walter were always available whenever we had a question or needed assistance. They were very very easy to communicate with before and during our 6 day stay. What a great place for enjoying Florence!Thank you Lucia!!

I'm Lucy, full time host, and owner, for Principio and Regina Apartments, in the same building. Organizer for my guests of private daily tour to the Chianti countryside with lunch and wine taste in wonderful wineries. Or Touts to Lucca and Pisa or where you prefer go. I provide also tourist guide for an walking tour of Firenze or for a walking tour to Uffizi and Galleria. She will take care to reserve the tickets for you.
I love to take care of our guests by showing them Florence's particular locations frequented by Florentine. To be present at their arrival and departure, to host people from every part of the world is for me a big pleasure. My greatest satisfactions is to know their fully satisfaction and desire to come back here.

We traveled a lot (and still do!), for business reasons and for leisure, and we really like to get in touch with people coming from other cultures. That's how we came out with the idea of buying Principio apartment. "Principio" means "beginning", and we hope that it will be the beginning of your wonderful stay here in Italy, and at the same time, a very good beginning of our activity.

Principio is in the perfect location both for visiting Florence and for travelling around It. Via dell'Alloro is a very quiet street. The apartment is at the first floor of an ancient Florentine building and you can reach it with only 20 stairs. It is a lovely apartment with all the amenities, furnished with the typical Italian taste. I also organize PRIVATE DAILY-TOURS TO THE TUSCAN COUNTRYSIDE WITH WINE TASTING: Duration about 9/10 houres. A private driver will be available for you for movements from a place to another.
- Visit of the medieval town of Siena, famous for the Palio horse race taht taks place in the particurar square Piazza del Campo.
-Visit to the Monteriggioni fortress
Afterwards you will travelling to one of the beautiful wine estate to enjoy a wine cellar tour , a lunch or snack and wine tasting while sitting surrounded by vinegards.
Possibility of buying or booking wine, oil, balsamic vinegar from the estate at advantageous prices
-Visit to San Gimignano, the Unesco World Heritage Site, famous for its 14 towers and its artisan shops.
Return to Florence, stopping to take some pictures on the road surrounded by hills.
I arrange also daily tour to Lucca and Pisa, or everywhere you will prefere to visit.
A professional tourist guide is at your disposal for a walking tour of Firenze or to accompany you to the museums, booking for you the entrance tickets.
