Maalaismainen ja mukavuus ovat mitä löydät ennen kuin edes pääset tähän ihanaan kahden makuuhuoneen mökkiin. Kävele sisälläsi ja tiedät, että olet “lyönyt kultaa” tässä vuoristomökissä. Vaikka hellästi kutsutaan mökki, se on varastossa täynnä kaikkea mitä tarvitset king size-vuode ensimmäisessä makuuhuoneessa ja Queen size-vuode toisessa makuuhuoneessa. Haluat tietenkin kokeilla poreallasa ja älä unohda ylimitoitettu kylpytynnyri vain odottamassa sinua uppoamiseen.

Nautitko uinnista, vaelluksesta, pyöräilystä, hiihdosta, koskenlaskusta tai tutkimisesta? Gatlinburgilla on niin paljon tarjottavaa, että se todella sopii kaikkien elämäntapoihin. Loved the cabin! Back deck amazing -- coffee every morning and happy hour every evening.

Cabin was great - beds good, wondereful bath towels, kitchen well stocked. Would have liked to have more dish towels, a dish cloth and oven mitts! Grilled out 3 nights, used the hot tub. Last morning there we had a mama bear and 2 cubs playing in our backyard off the deck! So fun!

Peaceful, cozy cabin in the mountains.

Everything was nice with the exception of not having a pool pass upon arrival to get into the pools. We tried several times to contact the rental company to get our pool pass. Finally we got the pass on day 4 of our trip. Also the dryer does not turn off and is a major fire hazard. I had fallen asleep and our clothes dried for 3 hours. Other than that, everything was great!

Rented the cabin, Alpine Ski Lodge, for one week.Our impressions of the owner, the cabin and the stay:Owner:Do not bother asking for information on the cabin. We requested information, through the rental website "Contact Owner", twice. Never heard back from the owner.Cabin:The cabin was adequate. It was clean and had ample room for up to 4 guests. Furnishings and accessories (sofa, TV, coffee maker e.t.c.) were of average quality. Not very good but also functional. And some, e.g. sofa, showed high usage.Overall it was a good value for the price.Stay:The cabin is off the beaten path. You need to take a circuitous route to get to the cabin. This is not bad by itself.However, there are a lot of uphills (some, even, a 45o incline).Also, the road to the cabin is narrow (two cars barely fit and two SUVs, especially large, e.g. Escalades, would never fit) and on top of that there no guardrails. Especially where the road is narrow, steep incline, no guardrails and 1,000 foot drop on the side!!This would be a definite problem if there is any snow on the ground. And, if there is any ice, I would suggest you find a different place to stay.

Alpine Ski Lodge

Great location!! We had some hiccups when we first got there, the previous dirty towels were still left in the bathtub by housekeeping, but after contacting the owner, we had fresh towels within the hour! No big deal. Cabin was located about 10 minutes on the hill behind Gatlinburg! Very roomy, it was a couples trip, so lots of room in the community area that we could all sit comfortably! The front and back porches are equipped with rocking chairs and a front porch swing, and the back had a nice hammock. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had very hot water with good pressure. The pipes are a little noisy when you flush and use the sinks, but no big deal. The floor is a little noisy in front of the bathroom, but again, no issues gives the house character. I will say that the only thing I would suggest is that both the front and back porches could use a good pressure wash. Lots of dust, leaves and cobwebs, and make sure there are coffee filters for the next renters, I used paper towels, but that did not hinder our stay at all! Our last night we got to see a Mama Bear and her cubs out front of our cabin walking down the road and in the bushes. We would stay here again!

Mountain vacation

Beautiful mountain home! Well maintained and very clean. The home was well stocked with anything we needed. Close enough to enjoy the activities of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but far enough away to be out of the chaos. Not a complaint because it was clearly disclosed in the listing but it is important to reiterate that the road to the cabin is very steep and curvy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Mother/daughter trip

Enjoyed a few days in the mountains. It was exciting seeing a mama bear and her 3 cubs on the property although a little close for comfort!😲. The property was well stocked and we enjoyed the hot tub daily. There were a couple of things that weren’t I working order, however I made sure to let the property manager know and they were quick to respond. I would recommend this property for future get always.

Great cabin up high in the mountains

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, fairy well stocked in the kitchen (we could have used some kitchen scissors). We enjoyed having access to the hot tub in the deck and seeing the city lights. The entrance to the national park and to Gatlinburg were close by. The road leading up to the cabin was incredibly steep and needlessly lacking in basic safety features. Railings at a minimum need to be installed and should be brought up with the community to address. Fortunately it was spring so the roads weren’t icy, but we did have bad weather a couple days and driving on these roads (supposedly two lane but was barely so and had terrifying drop offs on both sides of the road in places). The listing needs to clearly state that the cabin is up high on a mountain and that the road leading up to it is steep and requires all wheel or four wheel drive year round. There was only mention if a steep driveway, which is not the road itself.

Best Vaca Ever

The cabin was perfect for our extended weekend couples vacation!! It was very clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our daily adventures of an ATV tour, white water rafting trip, and walking around Gatlinburg! The pool was extremely convenient and fairly close to the cabin as well!! We had daily bear visit every morning which was ok until the morning we were leaving .. he didn’t want us to leave apparently because he kept circling the truck so we couldn’t get in. We’ll definitely be back though as it was the best vacation ever!

Three days stay

The property was very dusty and outdated .. the beds were comfortable and the location was ok. It would be a great view in the winter. Some of the small appliance's like the microwave and blender didn’t work properly. Toilet seats were loose.. so make sure to bring your tool belt 🙄..

Overall the cabin was nice. There are to many fake flowers and greenery that need to go. They were all very dusty and out dated. Behind the doors and the air registers needed a good cleaning. The mattress on the queen bed needs to be replaced as well. Update the decor to more woodsy decor and get rid of the fake flowers and greenery to give it a more Cabin feel. Also an outdoor table and chairs would have been nice to eat meals on the deck.
