Incredible location! Romantic oasis in the middle of the historic district. Walk to all the best restaurants, shopping and tourist destinations in downtown Savannah. Ideal for 2 people. This is the perfect home base for your visit to our beautiful city. Queen bed. Private bathroom. Full kitchen. Street parking. One flight of stairs is required. City of Savannah SVR-00703

​​​​​​​The apartment has a queen bed, a nice bathroom, a small equipped kitchen (has pots and pans, utensils, plates and glasses). Living room area with TV, bistro dinette set and a love seat.

This carriage house apartment is upstairs behind a gorgeous mansion that faces Bull Street. This is a quiet, romantic oasis in the midst of the busy city environment. Unlike most carriage houses the entrance is not in an alley, you come in a side gate off of Harris Street. A well known bookstore is part of this compound.

Other things to note

Parking is on-street and spots are typically easy to find at this location. Metered/numbered spots can be handled by either downloading the ParkSavannah App or purchasing a 'Visitors Parking Day Pass' available to cover all day/night parking for travelers. The pass can be purchased from the Visitors Center on MLK, the Parking Services office on Bryan St. There is always somewhere to park.

Quaint carriage house apartment in the heart of it all
The location- Our apartment couldnt have been at a more perfect location; Madison square was just steps out of our door and everything was easily within walking distance in both directions- the hubbub of Broughton St, City Mkt, and the Riverfront in one direction and Forsyth Park in the other- and all of the squares. Cathedral just a block away. The parking process- We ended up finding a spot right in front of our apt to unload. We pd the $1 for the hr through the Park Savannah parking app which gave us time to unpack and settle in. My husband then moved the car down a couple of blocks to a garage where it stayed for the duration, except for the day we went to the island. We did pay about $100 for 3 days but it was well worth it to us. The apartment- The apt was very quaint, clean, nicely decorated.Small kitchenette with full-sized fridge, range/ oven, small coffee bar, dinnerware, and utensils provided.The space was ample for my husband and i. Had a nice sized closet space and a Chest of drawers for storing clothes. As some had mentioned, the space could be a little updated with a fresh coat of paint on baseboards, bathroom door, etc, but over all the apt was very clean. They have provided iron and ironing board, extra blankets and pillows, towels, washclothes, full-size shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, hairdryer, straight iron. Wish there was a box of kleenex- we ended up grabbing one at CVS which is close by. We would definitely stay here again

Adequate Lodging in a Convenient Location
The location of this unit is perfect if you want to wander the streets of Savannah's historic district and take in the beauty. It's centrally located, making all of the beautiful features of the district easy to access on foot. The unit itself was adequate. If you want to cook and eat in, this is not the location to choose. The kitchen is very small and not very well stocked (i.e. there were no water glasses and just one wine glass).

Weekend Getaway
My youngest and I wanted to get away for a weekend to get in the holiday spirit. We had such a nice 2 days in spite of the rain. This property was comfy and cozy. Quiet, private, walking distance to everything even the riverfront. Great restaurants, bookstores, SCAD museum, scenery. Our favorite spot was Gallery Espresso coffee shop with it's toasy fireplaces, delicious offerings and music along with local art and the kindest employees.
