A liitle piece of French Chic
This is a lovely property, in easy walking distance of the town centre, restaurants and bars. The beds were really comfy and we had acess to items in the fridge, which helped as we arrived later than expected. Karina had told us about the parking, so we were able to book a residents' parking permit for when we arrived, which was reallly helpful as you cannot be sure where you will find a space as the terraces (like ours at home) have only on-street parking. Karina's daughter also lent us her discount card for local restaurants, which was great.

Beverley itself is a gem.a must
Good communication with owner throughout renting process. She advised us of a potential problem where water had leaked through bathroom ceiling. This was not a problem for us. It was a period property and was in keeping with the “vibe” of Beverley. Only criticism is there was a bit of a trek to the bathroom from the bedroom. But would definitely return.
Thanks so much for your review. We like to keep up to scratch with responses to questions. The bathroom has been dealt with and the hallway redecorated so nice and spic and span! As stated in the home literature the bathroom is downstairs but we have a lovely tactile bannister rail for support to climb up and down the stairs easily. Thanks again :) we'd love to see you over in our quaint quiet area of our home historical town of Beverley again
In a quiet street but very close to Beverley town centre
We were welcomed warmly to the house by the owner, Karina, and throughout our stay it was easy to get in touch with her, and when we did, she responded quickly.
The house is comfortable and retains many Victorian features alongside modern ones like central heating and recycling bins. It is in a good central position for Beverley town centre, where an extensive pedestrianised shopping precinct allows leisurely browsing and any number of cafes with pavement seating. Explore the narrow side streets off the precinct for an even greater choice of good cafes.
The galley kitchen had what we needed for holiday-style (ie easy) cooking, and the dining room is a spacious place in which to eat. The living room is at the front of the house, but as there isn't through traffic it is fairly quiet. And at night it was unbelievably quiet in the comfortable master bedroom which overlooks the street.
As many of the streets in Beverley are Victorian terraces, there is little parking, so be prepared to park a few streets away and then walk to the house. Karina organised a parking permit for our two-week stay, which was very helpful as there isn't any unrestricted parking in the streets around the centre of Beverley.
