I really enjoyed my stay at The Dancing Dunes. I'm a 65 single lady, with my little dog, Mocha, so safety is a big consideration for me, and this fit the bill. The manager, Becky, was available, friendly, and went above and beyond her "required duties." I will tell my friends and will be going back!

Awesome place to stay, this place is a little hidden gem! The Fish cabin was perfect for our family of 3 our 55lbs dog. Super close to everything including beach access which is the next street over! 10/10 would recommend :) We are looking forward to a future stay!

Lisa & Becky was fantastic with communication and accommodating our early check-in request. Our stay met every expectation. Everything was so clean and inviting and the temperature was perfect. The evenings were quiet and cozy. The location was a short walk to the beach so it made it convenient to see the sunset and sunrise. It was so comfortable for the two of us and our small pup. We cannot wait to visit again!

The perfect cozy cabin for a relaxing getaway

We loved our stay at Fish Cabin. It was very clean and nicely decorated both indoors and out. The property manager was welcoming and very nice as well. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay with my dog at the Fish cottage. It was clean, spacious and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The rain shower head was incredible. The host was wonderful with great communication. Will definitely be back!

Coastal homey, charming and relaxed property.

What a delightful, unpretentious, special property for adults only, over 25! Very pet friendly, and Becky, the host, was so sweet and accommodating. 5 minute walk to the beach! Will definitely stay here again!

Great place

The fish cabin was as advertised. Very clean. Good location. We brought our dogs and they are very dog friendly. Becky, the manager, was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a couple- Fish Cabin

We stayed at the fish cabin for a mini-honeymoon weekend. Becky was wonderful, nice and clean. Great outdoor area. Beds comfortable. Not a single complaint! Highly recommend!!

As advertised, clean and cool

All was good except no privacy on porch random people here and there eating on the deck as I tried to enjoy my morning coffee. Appeared to be owners or managers and their children.

Port A for Thanksgiving

We have a tradition for our Texas family to get together over Thanksgiving break in Port Aransas. We always pick a different place for all of us or just the two of us grandparents to stay. We brought along our dog this year and stayed at the Fish Cabin. I believe we'll stay here again next year! Thank you Becky. you could not have made our stay any better. Cheers, don

This property is a tucked away tiny gem. It is small only 5 cabins, very quiet, alot of green spaces, well appointed chairs in good condition. Inside the fish cabin it was clean with furniture in good condition, ALOT! of linen...family of 4 beach goers had plenty! Kitchen very clean and decked out with everything your gonna need to cook....and you want to cook! Bathroom and shower in perfect order with the necessities supplied. The outdoor kitchen is in a shaded patio with pass over the bar seating all around. The grills were in good shape and working just like they should! We are Texas size people and the inside was a little tight for all of us and the dog, YES they take doggos, and they are very nice about it! If there was a pool it would be great but taking the dogs is the trade off there. The parking is alittle tight as a circle drive circles one way thru the back but there is alot of space! It was July 4 on the busiest tiny island in Texas, no drama, no drunk folks, no loud music, super safe. I want to go back by myself ! Thank you Becky, shes a pro. Very easy to work with. Book this little fish cabin and....get away from it all.Oh and an outdoor shower and dog rinse! With hot water ! Yessss

Cute and cozy!

Im genuinely impressed with this property. Check-in process is so easy compared to other places we've stayed on the island. The communal yard and porch was wonderful to sit on during the evening hours and when we had some drizzles! I was largely impressed by the little things (coffee AND creamer AND sugar were provided!!). We also had a fully stocked kitchen (dishwear and utensils) as well as filter water in the fridge uppn arrival. This property truly cares about its guests' comfort and it absolutely shows!

Comfortable, clean, close to the beach

I stayed in the Fish Cabin, four nights. The owners, Jim and Becky, who live on the premises are delightful people who checked more than once to see if I needed anything. Becky's communication and coordination regarding checkin was outstanding. We actually TALKED on the phone--imagine that! My unit was one of ten or twelve, all contiguous with covered porches, decks really. Dancing Dunes feels like slipping on a pair of old, comfortable shoes. You feel right at home. The kitchen is well appointed (Becky and Jim are both chefs). Nice big step-in shower. Comfortable bed. Location: you are half a block from Sandcastle Drive, which is two blocks leading to the beach. Easily walkable if you don't have too much gear. Price very reasonable--my stay was in mid-April. I would recommend it without hesitation or reservation.

The door lock was an issue but IMMEDIATELY addressed and we didn't feel unsafe. The hostess was nothing short of AMAZING!!!
