1940's Shiplap Charmer Close to Downtown Waco! PET FRIENDLY!
Welcome to our 1945 modern country home! Our house has the best of both worlds, original shiplap mixed with modern amenities and will surely speak to everyone in the group. We are just a few miles away from downtown Waco in a quiet neighborhood so you can enjoy the peacefulness of a sunset on our screened in back porch all while still being close to everything Waco has to offer. We hope our home will help bring long lasting memories during your stay!
Our place has the modern country feel with a little bit of fun added to make it family friendly!
Please note- our beds include 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Doubles, 1 Twin, 2 Twin Rollaways, and 1 crib.
The master bedroom/bathroom are on the first floor along with the half bathroom. Three more bedrooms and a full bath are on the second floor.
PLEASE READ BELOW RULES BEFORE BOOKING:
-PARKING:
Parking allows for a max of FOUR vehicles. We have a large driveway where all cars must park. There is no street parking allowed on our street and no parking in our front yard. If there are more than four cars traveling in, please plan accordingly to park any additional cars elsewhere.
-We have another short term rental (a tiny house) that is right next door. Please be respectful of our guests staying there and give them their privacy. The only shared space you will have with the tiny house is the entrance to the main driveway.
-Absolutely no parties or events!! We are not equipped to host large gatherings and do not allow additional people other than the those who are included on the reservation!!
-CHILDREN:
The house is child friendly, and you are welcome to bring children of any age (we have a 3 year old ourselves!), but please be aware the house is not "childproof"- there are stairs (a baby gate is provided at the stairs), we do have potted plants, and books and other decorative items within reach. It is your responsibility to evaluate the suitability of the property for your kids' needs.
-PETS:
We allow up to 2 pets however, they are only allowed on the first floor and in the backyard. Please no pets upstairs on the carpet or on the furniture in the house.
-Quiet Hours- 10:00pm - 6:00am
-No smoking (including vaping) inside the house.
-No fires in the fireplace and no portable firepits for the yard.

Hi, I'm Meryl! I live in Robinson, TX - just outside of Downtown Waco. I am originally from Grapevine, TX and have lived in this great state my whole life. My fiancé Andrew, (co-host) works for the Fire Department and I am a stay at home mom to our two year old son. I also love redoing furniture, anything DIY, and find joy in thrifting and showing how to design on a dime! We both love traveling, being outdoors, and are always looking for our next adventure. We would love to host your next VRBO stay :)

Our home is a short drive to downtown Waco, about 10 minutes until you are in the middle of everything! Then come back to our quiet neighborhood to a home that is relaxing, comfortable, and full of character!
Our home truly speaks to everyone in the group-
We have areas for sitting and relaxing, areas for games/movies, a full kitchen, a dining area, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a spacious backyard with yard games. Sit on the screened in back porch or lay in the hammock and watch the sunset!

Bedroom #2 (2nd floor): 1 Full bed, 1 Twin bed

-We do allow pets! There is a MAX of 2 pets per booking. We just ask that they stay on the first floor and off of the furniture.
-We have a spacious driveway for your parking needs however, there is a MAX of 4 cars per booking. We live on a street that does not allow street parking so all cars must be parked in the driveway and we need to assure there is plenty of room for people to still get in/out of the driveway comfortably.
-We do have a tiny house on the premises that could be occupied by a different rental group during your stay and we ask that you respect their privacy and be mindful of the noise level. The only thing that is shared with the tiny house is the entry to the driveway, otherwise it is completely separate.
