Peaceful, Private Blast from the Past on Coosaw: Long Term Rental, 6 Month Min

We welcome long term rentals, for a monthly rate of approximately $2200 per month ($74 per night). Come see what makes our island so special!

Comfy modular home that lives big, immaculately clean and well-maintained. Just as cool as your grandparents house with 1970s vintage finishings, but nicely furnished, with wi-fi and new smart TV with cable. New cooktop, new washer and dryer, new deck and new flooring throughout. Really a beautifully maintained house, just a bit groovy with original paneling and wallpaper. 3-head mini-split AC added in 2023.

House sits off a private road maintained by owner. Owner is a local artist and is reachable and instantly accessible for assistance/issues. Sunsets and marsh views surrounding the house. 1/4 mile from public deep water marina, 15 mins from historic Beaufort, 30 mins from Hunting Island State Park and public golf nearby.

Dogs welcome - housebroken, have current flea protection and guests must clean up after them.

Long-term rentals a plus (3-6 months, or yearly) - please inquire for rates. We hope you come enjoy our special piece of Coosaw!

Amazing Location

As the listing says, it's an older house but very clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful, surrounded by salt marsh, and teeming with deer and birdlife. While the house provides total seclusion, you are only a 10 min drive to all the beaches and all the amenities of Lady's Island/Beaufort. The owner Jon could not have been nicer, and was very responsive and helpful. This is an Ideal location for fishermen as there's a great launch around the corner, a tidal creek in the front yard loaded with mud minnows , and the flats around the house teem with fiddler crabs for a limitless bait supply! We spent 2 very happy months there !

Quiet relaxing respite

We had a wonderful stay in this large three bedroom modular. Aged to perfection. Pictures and description were true to this clean retro affordable stay. Plenty of privacy and an island fieel with marsh surrounding this unit. Ramp and Small marina is close by and Beaufort downtown just a short drive. Perfect distance from everything. We will be back!

Location

Very private place surrounded by salt marsh. Dogs loved it and we didn’t have to worry about traffic. Lots of good country roads for bicycles and access to the water if you have a boat . Neighbors are very nice and Jon the host is close and very helpful.

Spacious for family

My husband and I traveled to Beaufort for a long weeked. Our 2 sons who are in their 20's met us there. The house was comfortable and adequately furnished. Our dog loved running in the yard. We enjoyed cooking at the house and bought fresh seafood.

Nice location close Hunting Island state park.

Good experience, a good price point value. Had 2 dogs with us, kitchen was well equiped. Washer/Dryer work great. Host was hospitable and responsive. Would consider returning.

it was okay for us. Vent hood over stove was filthy. Needs to be cleaned. Old furniture. No hangers in closet. Dry did not work
