The perfect location for beautiful sunsets
Our family of four spent our last week of summer break in this condo. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. We love Tigertail beach and it was fun having a bird's eye view of the lagoon to watch people cross over and also fish/kayak. We enjoyed the living room setup with the sectional, and could all four comfortably watch TV together. We were traveling with another family who had a condo on the 14th floor and had plenty of room to invite them up for dinner one night and really appreciated having such a big dining area with a fantastic view.

Inside the apartment we were very disappointed in the overall dated appearance, in my opinion it certainly needs updating
However that was not the main issue
From 5.00pm - 8.00am it was a quiet place to be
From 8.00am - 5.00pm is a different matter
There is construction work taking place in tower 3 & 4 constant masonry drilling etc
No peace during the day, the noise is so bad you have to leave the property
The construction work is scheduled to end in FEBRUARY 2020

To clarify, our unit is accurately depicted in all the many pictures that have been uploaded, some as recently as 6 months ago. There are no surprises here. You chose our unit despite comparing ours to many others, most likely based on cost. We offer affordable, well-kept accommodations with a million-dollar view. You could have chosen a more updated unit, with granite counter tops, for example, and paid 1.5 to 2 times more if a completely renovated condo was an important feature for you.
Hurricane strength window updates, due to hurricane Irma, will start in Tower 4 on 6/17/19. Schedules of these updates have been sent to all upcoming guests, as one would expect if the owner is notified of potential work on the building.
I have no control or knowledge of individual unit owner updates. As a matter of note, your first comment to me about any noise was on Thursday afternoon at 2:39 PM, on a Saturday to Saturday stay. Since they can only work 8 -5 M-F, I could only suggest that if the balcony was too loud, that you go out for the day on Friday and I provided many ideas of free things to do on and around Marco. Sunsets of course, were never affected.
Again, apologies if a neighbor’s updates were a source of consternation for you. Hopefully, when you did leave our unit, you were able to enjoy some of the many great features Marco has to offer.
An absolutely wonderful place to spend a week's vacation!
One of our many takeaways is that the week went by far too quickly. Somehow we went from Saturday to Saturday and the days simply flew by...
Highlights from our stay were the sunsets (of course); walking to Tigertail Beach; the view from the 19th floor; the warm swimming pool; going for morning walks; and the friendliness of fellow condo renters and owners. On a smaller scale, we loved the comfortable beds; great water pressure; well equipped beach locker; plethora of parking spaces; well stocked kitchen and modern appliances. Also, Jean's decorating is excellent! This condo is a lovely place for guests to spend a wonderful week in Marco.
Upon opening the door to our condo, our reaction to the views was "impressive." We were joined mid-week by a daughter and two grandchildren -- their reaction was "speechless!"
