Refrigerator and freezer were not working. Couches were dreadful. Plumbing fixtures were corroded. Golf cart was not working. The only plus was the view of the ocean.

This unit is location, location, location. Unfortunately this is the filthiest place I have ever stayed in. I left a day early because I just couldn’t stand it another night. Besides being dirty, the furniture and decor is a hodgepodge of old and broken stuff. Both toilets ran every few minutes, one of the fans was very loud, and the double bathroom sinks did not even match each other. All the door handles and window cranks were almost inoperable. A new cleaning person should be hired and whomever owns this unit, needs to spend the night there, there are too many issues to list. This unit should not be rented out until it is painted and improvements made.It is a disgrace to this development.

Quick weekend stay

I love Hamilton Cove. This place was nice and well kept. Had a bad tire on the cart and maintenance came and fixed it within minutes. It was a great memorable weekend.

Great location, needs TLC

Checkin was less than desirable, had to walk to company since text has still never been received. Unit was dirty and appliances were run down. View is beautiful but the condo needs some TLC.

Daily rate doesn’t reflect property

I would have loved to leave a 5 start review but I wasn’t 100% satisfied with my stay at this property . Although location was gorgeous, the inside of the property lacked cleanliness over all . Each room had several spider webs with spiders coming down from the lights,these webs were big and unavoidable . Bathrooms were also not up to standard of cleanliness . There was dust all around the counters. At night when we attempted to use the heater , it let off a strange smell and caused me and my party to cough . Then next morning when we went outside to the terrace to explore our common area, we found a pair of female underwear on our terrace. It was EXTREMELY disturbing. Other issues with our golf cart such as back firing and a broken headlight made us feel like we chose the wrong property to stay at for my moms 50th birthday . When these issues were brought up to the VRBO host , we received no type of acknowledgment on cleanliness only on the issues with golf cart and heater . The issues with the golf cart went unresolved during our stay due to it being and older model and the mechanic being closed until Monday. I would not stay here again nor recommend anyone to stay here .

Wonderful location, disappointing property

We chose this unit because of its location, view and privacy. When we first walked in the door, on first impression we were not disappointed. Upon further inspection, we noted the condition of the property was very poor. The place is badly maintained with dirty walls and grime on the furniture ... filthy, old cookware caked with years of grease, slow draining sinks, a BBQ that is filled with old grease & with broken burners, burned out lights bulbs, broken deck chairs. Apparently, no maintenance has been done since the unit was new.

worst mattresses I’ve ever seen, even for a rental

First, the view is spectacular. The yard... spectacular. The mattresses were really old, connected coil garbage. The fan in the master was so loud you would need earplugs to sleep. The mattress in the master (where you had a beautiful view) was so broken down on one side from someone sitting on it for years that it visibly sloped into a trough. If a person sat on a part of the bed with someone else on it, it felt like a bounce house. It was so uncomfortable we forfeited the beautiful view to sleep in the cave of a second bedroom where there was no fan. That Second bedroom also had no working light. The switch in the lamp was broken off. So we had to pull the nightstand out and plug/unplug the light that every time. There were not enough towels, and NO additional things to make you feel welcome or comfortable. For example, the living room furtinure is cheap patio furniture. Heaven forbid you had someone staying with you that was going to sleep in the living room. There were also no coffee cups, just espresso/tiny tea cups. The pans were rusted and it honestly felt like camping quality. The extra bedding (for your lucky living room guests -which thank goodness for me were children) reeked. The two comforters in the master closet smelled like mold and wet dog. Also the place was tidy but NOT clean. The golf cart was clearly never cared for. It backfired so much I felt like it was comical. And for the price it would have been nice to have a few tennis racquets and beach towels available for the facilities in the complex. We usually stay at the same place year after year, twice a year. We would have loved for this to be that place. Unless they upgrade the beds and make this right... NOT the place. Buyer beware. We rent a lot for vacations and this was a huge disappointment.
