Great Place to Crash

Great place for a good price close (short Uber or 20 min walk) close to Downtown Portland and other breweries. Owner was super friendly.

Bachelorette trip

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect, only a 5 minute drive from downtown, the house was very clean, rooms were spacious and there were air mattresses to accomodate extra people. There was also plenty of room for parking!

Spacious

The key feature of this apartment is how spacious it is. 5 of us stayed there over Christmas and were very comfortable. Convenient location. One note: there is a flight of stairs leading up to the apartment. We would probably stay there again. Joel is a nice host.

Great Property

This was a great property. Very large and accommodating. Host was helpful and kind. Property was very close to downtown and very convenient!

Great Location. Lots of room.

Great apartment in Portland right off Forest Ave. close to bars, brewery’s and restaurants. Family of 7 slept comfortably. Joel was a great host with lots of info about the area.

Great house great host

We loved our stay with Joel. Great host. Great house/space for a large party. Easily accessible to downtown portland and a number of shops and restaurants in walking distance from the house. Would recommend!

Nice owner

The owner was a nice guy! The space was plenty big for our needs. There was a bit of an unfinished quality in that a window shade was left unrepaired and the kitchen was poorly stocked for any real cooking. He made an effort to get us the things we needed. Being a nice guy helped a lot!

Nice little place

We needed something simple with comfy beds as part of our travels for my first marathon. This was perfect for this! The owner was super responsive. Only downside was a neighbor was super loud the night before my race and the house walls being thin... it was a bit disruptive but oh well! Not enough of a problem to be upset

Good for a weekend away

The house was fine for what we needed - a place to sleep, shower and get ready for a wedding. It’s not in the greatest condition but it had plenty of parking, the right number of beds and baths, was conveniently located for us and was the right price. We had 4 midsize SUVs and were able to fit them all with minimal car shuffling needed. There’s a coffee shop around the corner, a bar around the other, a gas station on the corner, and several bagel/breakfast places within walking distance. I had to reach out for check-in directions but once we got those, it was smooth sailing. Joel was courteous and friendly.

More shabby than chic

The layout is odd and the furnishings are thrift store and very worn. The place is conveniently located, was clean, and provided space for the four of us each in our own rooms. We weren't planning to do anything but sleep there as we spent most of the time visiting relatives--and for that it was adequate.
