Fire up the gas grill for post-adventure cookouts in the afternoon, then watch the stars come out in the evenings while soaking in the hot tub. Wood-lined walls and mountain-inspired decor add charm to the spacious home. Cozy up by the fireplace with a good book or sprawl out in the living room with your whole group for a movie night. The well-equipped kitchen features everything you need to prepare your favorite recipes. Dine together around the large kitchen bar.

Warm cabin in quiet neighborhood

Large and accommodating dining area and tv room with warm wood interior that made it feel cozy and cabenlike. Wish there was a real wood stove or fireplace though! Kitchen could use some better knives and other utencils.Steep and hard to see driveway slightly difficult in ice and no where to park above on the street.

Everything was super neat and clean. Lots of towels around and was a quiet place to sleep. Had full amenities as well as dishes and pots pans. 10/10 would stay there again.

Cabin in the trees.

Overall it’s a great house. Its definitely rustic and minimal. It was an adventure to figure out the lights and heating.. Quinn came to save the day. Loved the outdoor space of this cabin. Location was perfect!

Great spot

Very open and nice. Great location. Furniture in the living room is not that comfortable, but not a huge deal. Love the wood and lodge feeling of the place.

Weekend trip

Great cabin with a nice kitchen and seating area to host a small group. Location is convenient but not the most serene neighborhood. House was well stocked and hot tub was great after a day in the snow.

Our recent stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable as were the beds. I would recommend more and newer dishware. Most dishes were chipped and more coffee mugs were needed.

Cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay at the Emerald Slope. The cabin is well laid out and in a quiet neighborhood. The gas fireplace was appreciated on the chilly mornings. The area has plenty of things to do and Mt Hood is only a short distance away. The local Thriftway was a nice surprise as it wasn't there our last trip through the area. We would definitely stay hear again!

Cabin Getaway

Fun location for a cabin getaway. We had a great time with the family. AC works good. Hot Tub nice and clean. Property manager was responsive to text and brought us an extra propane tank for the BBQ. Great hike just up the road. TV package was good. Very enjoyable time!

Mount Hood Hiking

It is a great location and place overall. It is well stocked and has lots of space, inside and outside. It is very private. The bedrooms need new carpteting because of the pet damage (smell and stains).

Attempted ski weekend

We liked the house and it was nice and clean, large by, and well-appointed. We enjoyed dinner at the Skyway restaurant our first night. A major storm shut down the ski areas and took out the power in the whole area, including the house, so we had to end our trip early. The vacasa team helped us navigate the situation. They provided us with good support during a difficult situation.

Great spot for Ski Trip!

The house was cozy and warm and perfect for a ski trip with friends. It was great to drive only 15-30 minutes to the snow parks and then return to a warm gas fireplace and relax sore muscles in the hot tub. Only wish there was a bit more laundry detergent (we didn't have enough to do the check-out loads) and there also was not enough space in the outside garbage for all the trash and recycling. It is easy to hear each other in the different rooms through the floors and walls just to be aware of as you mau be traveling with kids. We loved the outdoor firepit to roast smores as well. Really cute cabin and great experience.

Nice place for family get together

Enjoyed our stay. Hot tub shock chemicals not available so that was not good. Communication via email with owner ( as instructed on site) only one way, me to them. Bummer. All on all had a wonderful time. Not perfect but good enough.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting!

Wow. Not only was the house wonderful, but the natural surroundings were heavenly. We had such a lovely stay. The kitchen is a cooks dream. The heated bathroom?? Forget about it! Perfection. Our only complaints were the hot tub was luke warm when we arrived. We boiled 8 pots of water to bring it to 100°, but then it stayed up to temp. Also, the house cleaner could have been more thorough. It was awful but not as clean as one might hope for. Still, would 100% stay again!

Lots of potential

One bedroom had a new bed but they did not attach the slats under the mattress so when you sat the mattress pushed right througb. While we tried to fix it ourselves, we had not tools to attach the slats and therefore the room was not usable. The cleaning company did a terrible job there were flies everywhere and when you pulled out the couches there were dead flies and crumbs everywhere. The space is great and location perfect. The hot tub was cloudy with an awful smell, therefore not usable. The kitchen was well appointed and the laundry/mudroom was awesome. Overall, the house has so much potential, but it was by no means clean as the mis match furniture and crumbs and flies everywhere made it not fun.

Rustic cabin

We had a great family time…but some of us weren’t quite ready for the rustic cabin which is what this is. On the surface, it seems clean - but when you start to look around you see it really isn’t. Rustic? Maybe. Cobwebs in ceiling and windows, brush in the hot tub, The deck area was dangerous with slippery and loose boards. Black barstools need serious repair. Single bedroom downstairs has an horribly uncomfortable bed. Others sleeping in other rooms said beds were fine. Overall sitting furniture is uncomfortable. Bring a wine opener! And foil to line the cookie sheet if you plan to use it. Just more rustic than we expected and the pictures make it look bigger than it is. Maybe ask about square footage.

Amazing getaway

We loved the emerald slope! Fairly large cabin that was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be back. There are some close neighbors but we never saw or heard anyone else. Backyard with hot tub felt private and super enjoyable to sit out and rock in the rocking chair. Kitchen had absolutely no seasonings or hard goods, bring every ingredient even salt and pepper if you plan to cook. We left behind a salt and pepper shaker that we bought, unsure if the cleaning crew will leave it. Kitchen didn’t really have great pans or baking dishes. They have several pots and cookie sheets. Really crappy knives and utensils but they got the job done. Beds are pretty hard but pillows and blankets are comfy. Couch isn’t very comfy either but not terrible, keeps you awake for watching a movie. There are very few directions when you get there, some things took us a bit to figure out on our own (WiFi, heater) Overall amazing stay and definitely plan on going back :)

Just off the highway AND in the middle of wilderness

We were very impressed with this property. It had all the amenities and was well appointed. Lots of spaces to sleep, get cozy, cook, and play games! The hot tub was dreamy and perfect for after a day on the slopes. We would love to return and check it out in in the summer!

Nice cabin, bigger then expected and great for 2 families to share

The cabin had plenty of space for 2 families to share - with kids sharing rooms/ lots of options to work around. Easy location in Welches, just 20 minutes south of Govy. Obvious upgrades and comfortable!
