Beautiful property makes a great place to stay!

Very clean home with nice accommodations! The porch looks out to a beautiful property and makes a nice place to hang out! Perfect distance from the beach, but still a quiet getaway from the crowds. We loved this place!

Magnolia Manor is nestled in the quaint village of Wanchese. The whole property was in excellent condition. Its perfect for a quiet vacation or planning and hosting a wedding. The property is facing west and the whole back yard is overlooking the sound. Makes for the most gorgeous sunsets. Wonderful stay & experience!!

Gracious Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! There wasn't anything that the hosts didn't think of😊😊. We would definitely recommend staying here. It was perfect for our family of 4! Our boys really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board.

Perfect !

The property had everything we needed ! Very clean and supplied with all the comforts of home . Perfect place for my husband and I to visit our son and daughter-in-law while they are captaining/living on a charter boat for the season .

Wanchese get away!

Nice property! It had everything we needed for our family of 4. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything we needed and wanted! Great way to end the summer!

Wonderful!

We had an amazing stay with all the comforts and more of home! There were plenty of linens, laundry facilities, stocked with essentials. Comfortable couches, chairs, all around beautiful property. Well maintained inside and out. Enjoyed the bikes and kayaks too!

Excellent Property

Home is very clean, well organized and very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and beds are very comfortable. A perfect venue for reunions or events with adjacent properties. Over all we had a great stay and would definitely return!

Offsite on the Outer Banks

Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, clean house. Owner rents house next door as well; convenient for large gatherings but inconvenient for privacy between the two houses. No fencing, had neighborhood dogs roaming through the back yard.

Lovely house

It is a clean, well stocked, comfortable place to relax as well as located close to all the places we wished to visit. The couches were comfortable and well lighted for reading. The beds were very comfortable. The one issue we had was taken care of quickly. We do recommend this house if you want to visit the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Fantastic property!

We really enjoyed staying at this property in Wanchese. The house is exactly as pictured online with beautiful updates and conveniences. Everything was very clean and the beds are so comfortable. No details were left out and the owner was very responsive to every question. I’d highly recommend staying at this property if you’re coming to the OBX for a visit. Our family loved it!

Quiet and Relaxing

Laurie is an amazing host! She was responsive and proactive to make sure we had everything we need. Her home was spotless with everything you need for your stay. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing and only 10 minutes away from the charm and shops of downtown Manteo. Thank you Laurie!

Very easy to find, great quiet location, very peaceful. We had a great time. House was beautiful inside with many unexpected extras. Large kitchen fully equipped. Close to fresh seafood that was delicious. 2 great breakfast spots, The Landing in Wanchese and TLs in Manteo. When we go to the Outer Banks we never eat at a chain resturant. Will stay here again. The host was great with providing local information.

Enjoyed our stay

The home was well renovated with new furnishings and thoughtful touches but the location did not align with our needs and upon realization of this we communicated with the management team, Vickie. She was very gracious and understanding and worked with us to come to a resolution. We ended up curtailing our stay but we very much enjoyed our time during our stay. Thanks for being so awesome!

Ideal location for access to the sound

This home provided all of amenities for an ideal vacation in a secluded setting on the Sound. The 3 bedrooms provided plenty of space for a family and was only a few minutes from several wonderful restaurants serving fantastic local seafood. The village of Wanchese is close enough to the beach so you can be there quickly but out of the madness the summer season can be. If you want to enjoy one of the best kept secrets of the OBX, the adventure of boating in the sound and Oregon Inlet, then there is not a better place to stay. The larger home next door was magnificent and would be the ideal venue for a wedding or a large family gathering. This property with either or both of the homes certainly a gem and is a place we will definitely return to stay.

Best trip ever..

My family and I have been vacationing to the outer banks for over 25 years and this was by far the best trip yet. We stayed for 2 weeks and the peaceful atmosphere of the location, the perfect size, cleanliness and comfort of this home were AMAZING! Our host was, lovely, gracious and accommodating. We had our doggies with us and the home was perfect for all of us. We all had the best time. Wanchese is close enough to everything the OBX offers yet tucked away. From lunches and shopping in Duck to 4 wheeling on Nags Head beaches and then small town fun in Manteo it’s perfection. We brought our bikes and often rode down to the marina in Wanchese to have a frosty beverage while watching the big Hatteras boats come in. For you Wicked Tuna fans, this is the marina some of the boats come into! We will be back and Thank You!!!!

Wanchese Wonderful

Our stay was fantastic! I brought my family of six to this newly renovated home for the week and we couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. Every room was updated, clean and well furnished. The kitchen and laundry has all new appliances, the bathrooms were clean and updated, and there was also a small office space if you would be crazy enough to work on your vacation or time there. The property was quiet and backed up to the water with a small dock and great views of the surrounding water and marshland. There were even kayaks, a paddle board and bicycles to use as well. There is an attached rear wood deck with furniture and an outdoor shower to wash off any sand from the beach. Our host, Laurie, was extremely nice, personable and responsive to any questions we had. (She even ran an iron over to us last minute so our family pictures we had scheduled weren’t a wrinkled mess)! I would highly recommend staying with her at this property- you will not be disappointed!
