This colorful three bedroom, two full bath, private, and historic home is just 2 blocks from world famous Duval Street! You will be just around the corner to The Hemingway House , famous Blue Heaven Restaurant and the Key West Lighthouse.
Our quiet lane starts on Petronia Street, which has become the culinary center of Key West. VIV wine bar, Le Creperie, Blue Heaven, Rams Head, & Santiago’sBodega are at the end of the road. Owners offer a marvelous home away experience. Three covered porches overlook a breezy tropical paradise with a unique shared 70' lazy river pool. TREETOPS has TWO floors of living. Perfect for your guests to join you in paradise.

All furnishings have a cool, relaxed Key West vibe. The conch-style home was recently remodeled and meticulously furnished to a very high standard with ONLY Rave reviews from our guests. The pictures show accurately how well this SPOTLESS, colorful home SPARKLES.

Two FREE bicycles come with the property and a parking spot option- not that you need it- Key West is a walker's paradise from your perfect location.

The entire second floor is a Master Bedroom Suite with walk in shower, huge closet, and a private covered porch with views overlooking the Key West Lighthouse and our fabulous lazy river pool. Perfect spot for your morning coffee or a cocktail hour. Master suite also offers a private side staircase… easy access to pool. Outdoor teak and mahogany porch furniture, made from reclaimed boats, offers solitude and privacy up on the second level covered porch. Sliding glass doors on the second level overlook tropical grounds -See pictures!

Everything you need is right here... new appliances washer/dryer, linens, towels, gas grille on your private porch.

Many returning guests find TREETOPS to be their "happy place." (Please note required minimum stays of 28 nights or longer. Due to Key West City transient licensing laws, many historic homes have a 28 night minimum to keep neighborhoods intact.)

* OASIS: Simply walk out the double glass doors to an amazing, one of a kind, 70' lagoon style shared pool. Adirondack chairs provided are perfect for reading or having a drink poolside. A Weber gas grille is located on your back porch for your use only.

The spectacular common area backyard is lush and offers both sun and shade. Professional weekly landscapers and pool technicians keep the tropical gardens spotless.

* THE POOL: The unique 70' meandering salt water heated or cooled pool. The lagoon pool is shared with five cigar maker style homes. Spotless to swim in and gorgeous to look at, the evening pool and tree lighting is magical.

The owners are very responsive to the needs of their guests and are always happy to answer your questions. Just ask!

Hidden Gem in Key West

This is a beautiful historic house in the middle of everything but hidden from all the chaos of Duval st. Area was super quiet with very friendly neighbors. Everything you want to see or do is within walking distance. We really love this place and hope to stay again as soon as possible. Sheryl, the host was fantastic and answered any questions within an hour. Communication with host was great. This was the best place we have stayed in our 5 trips to Key West. I Highly Recommend this property. 10 stars to this property and host.

Key West March 2024

Cute home, great location in Bahama Village. Sheryl was super helpful with any questions, suggestions and recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The shared outdoor area is beautiful, and large pool was lovely. The area is quiet and very relaxing. We did have some issues with the pool cleanliness maintenance which was due to their poorly performing pool vendor and we believe the compound ownership resolved those upon our departure. The internet was great, and we was able to work from the unit. The bikes were in need of repair. If you opt for parking be warned it is very tight, and require the cooperation of your neighbors who also be renters. Overall, a great location and a great unit.

Lovely Stay in Bahama Village

Treetops was a really great place, all as you can tell from the pictures. The host was super helpful and communicative. The pool is one of the stand out features of the property. Shared with four other places, it is a beautiful and tranquil place to spend time.

Communication was great with owner prior to and during stay as needed. Check in was seamless. Property is beautiful, perfectly located and has everything you need. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. The backyard pool area is like your own little world….doesn't get any better! 100% would love to go back to Treetops!

Amazing!

We loved our stay. The house was very comfortable, decorating was very island, and the amenities were perfect. Kitchen had all appliances. We never had an issue with anything. Beds comfy, baths very nice, and both porches were used. Lovely location. We thoroughly loved Treetops. Oh the pool! Wow!

I can't say enough about this property and the owners. It's just as the pics depict. The location is perfect - close enough, but enough distance from noise, traffic. The neighbors are great. Outstanding property

This property is exactly as represented. The area is near enough to the action, but far enough to be private and serene. The home is very well equipped and comfortable. The master bedroom with private balcony is a plus. The serpentine salt water pool was fabulous! This was an awesome vacation!

Great time at the tree house

Beautiful house and property. The pool and the surrounding area are a peaceful oasis, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and the location fantastic. Highly recommend.

Little Piece of Paradise

What a wonderful vacation! The house is a cozy cottage located in a little piece of paradise. The tropical garden and pool are an awesome place to relax. The location is perfect….close to excellent restaurants, Duval Street, and a short bicycle ride to the beach. The owner was extremely communicative and was easy to reach to answer any of our questions. We loved our stay at Treetops!

Treetops Wonderland

This is an extremely comfortable place to stay and in the most perfect location! Easy walking or bike riding to everything. And after exploring the wonders of Key West, you come back to this oasis and swim in the pool. The neighbors are nice and helpful and the owner is very quick to answer any questions. I would stay here again.

Great Location

We stayed at this property during the month of March. It was exactly as described. The backyard is the gem. Beautifully landscaped and kept very clean. It is a shared space with 4 other houses. We were lucky and the other guests were great. Susan and Bruce, one of the home owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful with any questions we had about Key West and also supplied us with lots of dinner and entertainment suggestions.

Perfect Stay in Paradise

This property was amazing. The location would be difficult to beat. The house is perfectly situated for nice walks to both Mallory Square and the Southernmost Point. It’s also very close to Blue Heaven (our favorite restaurant in the Keys). The outdoor area is gorgeous. I loved working from the large hammock on the balcony and looking down at the winding pool. It was perfect. We were a bit worried about traveling during covid, but the house was extremely clean. Dave and Sheryl are fantastic hosts and were very responsive whenever we had questions. Additionally, the neighbors couldn’t have been better. Susan was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Feel like a local in this exceptional home!

TREETOPS is a wonderful experience! This house is so quaint and comfortable. It offers all the conveniences of home while still feeling like a vacation getaway. The colors and furnishings throughout the house make you feel like you’re an islander! The lazy river pool is perfect to cool off in any time of day or night. During the day you feel like you’re in a tropical paradise! At night the pool lights are gorgeous! And the hammock off the master bedroom is perfect for cool afternoon naps!! The location here is perfect! Bahama Village is right in the middle of all the fun!! There are so many sights, restaurants, bars and happy hours in walking distance. The Duval Loop (free bus) is a few minutes walk from the house to get you anywhere you can’t, or don’t feel like walking to. The home owners Sheryl and Dan pay attention to detail and it shows!! They are extremely hospitable and accommodating, we felt so welcome there!! We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

When we are not at TREETOPS, we live on the beach just south of Boston. We vacationed on KW before buying a slice of paradise. We hope you will enjoy our southernmost home as much as we do! We have taken pride in the renovations and outfitting our home to a very high standard so our guests will be comfortable and have everything they may need during their stay. We are always available to answer any questions you may have before or during your time at Treetops.
The two-person hammock on the second level is our favorite spot in the late afternoon! Every time we leave this house, we count the days until we can return.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! YES, this location is simply perfect and the property and the grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained. We have many return renters from year to year and only have rave reviews.
We had a great time decorating and updating our conch style home to feel like an authentic Key West experience.
Visitors to Key West have started paying closer attention to the Bahama Village neighborhood after discovering Blue Heaven, one of the most popular breakfast spots on the island. New dining options keep cropping up like Blue Macaw, Santiago’s Bodega, VIV Wine Bar, Moondogs, and La Creperie. Beyond the restaurant scene, Key West's famous Duval Street is less than 2 blocks away. If you interested in spending time at the beach, both South Beach and Ft. Zachary Taylor Beach are about a half-mile away.

The lagoon style pool is one of the largest private pools in Old Town and offers a wonderful spot to relax after a busy day discovering the island. The home is located within a five home , adult compound that shares the pool.
