Great Hotel in Good Location

It was pleasant surprise that our room was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite on top floor. The room was huge with living room and kitchen. The hotel location was great, there are nearby restaurants and shops are few Minutes walk. As usual, hotel staff were polite and friendly.

From the moment you walk in you feel so safe and cared for at Ascott BGC. I’m beyond impressed with the security staff, front desk team, and most of all Les!!! This is the kind of property a guest wants to return to as their home away from home over and over again. It’s posh and they sure keep the place spotty clean! Can’t wait for my next visit.

Fantastic.

Yes it was an amazing stay at Ascott BGC. By far the best hotel I've stayed at, within my budget. The front desk clerk, Althea, had such a soft warm, welcoming voice, and very thorough in answering our questions. I felt secure, with all the staff being ever present and attentive. Rooms were clean and the views were fantastic (24th floor), overlooking the skylines and High Street just below. Tv's in all the rooms and enought bathrooms for all 6 of us. Buffet breakfast was definitely a bonus. The staff again were very courteous and helpful, which will make our stay here even more memorable. Thank you Ascott BGC. Hooe to stay here again, next time I visit Philippines.

Perfect short stay!

Experience was great! Our room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning was perfect and bed/linens were comfortable. Location of the hotel is almost along high street which makes it so accessible to shopping and food. Our parking was free and breakfast was not bad. Our preference at the time of booking was followed, where we were given a higher floor. Only room for improvement was the check-in; staff was friendly but didn’t go through in detail key details of the hotel, ie where the pool and gym are. Check-out was quick and smooth. Will stay here again!

We stayed here for a night for the NY @ 5th event. The location was perfect because we only had to step out of the hotel and walk 20m to reach the intersection of where the NY countdown took place. Nothing spectacular about the lobby but the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was our first time at Ascott BGC my initial impression of the lobby and reception area was that it looked like a 3 star hotel. Anyway, the stay was good and the breakfast buffet was alright. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Ascott shines because of its staff.

Highly recommended hotel. Look no further… book this hotel if you want a wonderful stay in BGC. The location is superb… a 3 mins walk to High Street. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was amazing, many variety. Nice pool& hot tub too. The room is very spacious , we stayed in one bedroom suite. The only suggestion I would make is to do some upkeep of the carpet by the elevator on the 15th floor. It was coming off and I tripped on it. The room smelled musty at times but housekeeping quickly came to spray. I booked 7 rooms for other family members. Every one had a great time. Many thanks to Ascott staff for making our stay comfortable and very pleasant. We had an amazing time in Ascott. Its the best in my opinion.

Ascott BGC is a true gem when it comes to serving its guests. Each team member greets you with a warm welcome. The location is ideal when for local restaurants and High Street is just up the street. Our servers, hostess, cooks, chefs, and baristas for the breakfast buffet were all amazing. JM and Kim remembered my love for mango - that personal touch is heartwarming. The buffet menu was tasty. The champarado and taho was reminiscent of past childhood visits. The sansrival pistachio cake is a must-try from the Ascott’s lobby bakery!! Our housekeeper, Winard, was great, and he said goodbye to us the night before we left. To the hotel nurse who took care of my husband’s toe - we won’t forget you! To the fitness staff (Edward) and to every staff member, thank you & Mabuhay!

The 1bedroom suite was well-appointed, fully furnished, spacious and clean. The bathroom had a tub too and very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped as well with all the appliances and pots&pans, etc. Had no problem with accomodation. Problem was with checking out. It took 45minutes. They did not have a good system. Tried the room service and was disappointed with food choices. Many on the menu were note available

Most unpleasant experience

I used this hotel on a business trip. I requested a pickup from the airport, but I could not find a courtesy car and had no choice but to take a cab to the hotel. I explained this to them, but they charged me for the pick-up car. It was a very bad experience. I have used hotels all over the world and this is the first time I have ever had such an experience.

Pleasant stay

I specifically asked for a room with an open view but was assigned a room facing a residential/office building so I slept with the curtains fully closed. I asked for a room change the next day and was given a room with a better view. The room itself was nice and spacious, with abundant drinking water supply. However, I wish there were more towel variety in the bathroom. Bath towels ok but only 1 hand towel? And more bathroom amenities as well. Also, it would have been better if they have shoehorn and brush. The buffet breakfast was very good in variety and supply although they lack proper cutlery and crockery appropriate for the food like no fruit fork, or dessert spoon, even saucer for food in small serving (cup saucers are abundant though). I also noticed that staff were more attentive to obviously foreign guests like they would offer more coffee to the white guy, but ignore the local guest seated next whose coffee cup was empty. But they were nice and pleasant overall. The staff in the lobby were all helpful.
