Vrbo releases “Only Your People” creative campaign

New spots highlight why private, whole homes are better for vacationing together

AUSTIN, Texas – July 25, 2022 – Today, Vrbo unveiled “Only Your People,” the brand’s latest series of films that showcase the benefits of staying in the private, whole homes available on Vrbo. Produced by Vrbo’s in-house creative team in collaboration with agency partner Wieden+Kennedy, the films show a series of beautiful vacation homes and emphasize how, as a Vrbo guest, you “always have the whole place to yourself.”

“Only Your People” highlights the fact that Vrbo only allows private, whole homes on its site and app, so there are no awkward vacation experiences stemming from sharing space with a stranger. Vrbo properties provide guests with all the space and privacy they need to spend time with only the people they’re vacationing with – and no one else.

“Vrbo has established itself as the travel brand for togetherness and being with the people you love,” said Hector Muelas, senior vice president of global creative at Expedia Group. “Our latest creative work illuminates the reason why families choose whole homes on Vrbo because, after all, why would you share your vacation home with someone you wouldn’t share your vacation with?”

The spots will start airing this week in the U.S. and Canada on broadcast and cable networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CTV, Food Network, HGTV, Bravo, and TLC, as well as on digital video and cinema. Digital audio and OOH elements of the campaign will appear over the next few months.

Vrbo is also the new title sponsor of the Fiesta Bowl, and viewers will see the commercials this fall during the upcoming college football season.

“Only Your People” comes on the heels of Vrbo’s Super Bowl pre-game ad, “A Place for Together,” which was the brand’s first major creative campaign produced with Wieden+Kennedy. The agency also recently worked with Vrbo’s sister brand Hotels.com on its new creative platform, “Find Your Perfect Somewhere,” which launched in April.
