'Casa Sarah' is een prachtig ingerichte moderne villa en heeft alle faciliteiten die u nodig heeft om te genieten van een perfecte vakantie in een van de aantrekkelijkste gebieden van de Algarve. Met directe toegang tot Meia Praia, een ongerept strand met goede restaurantfaciliteiten die dag en nacht beschikbaar zijn, en ook de fantastische 'Marina de Lagos'. De villa is ideaal gelegen, terwijl het uitstekende accommodatie biedt met vijf grote slaapkamers, met verdere accommodatie indien nodig, een grote moderne lounge, binnen / buiten dineren en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. Er zijn privéterrassen op twee niveaus, met een keuze uit BBQ en privé-eetgelegenheid buiten, groot open terras bij het zwembad, verzorgde tuinen en verwarmd privézwembad. Er is een video-toegangssysteem en beveiligde parkeergelegenheid, samen met een nieuwe speelkamer, airconditioning en centrale verwarming voor het hele jaar door verhuur. Slechts 12 minuten lopen naar het strand, de jachthaven en de stad met veel uitstekende restaurants, cafés en bars met consistentie en gevarieerde keuze.

August 2024 stay

We had a great stay in this well equipped spacious property, there was 10 of us and it coped well with the volume. Nice quiet residential location. Not too far from beach or town, although we frequently chose to use the local Uber service, which we would highly recommend. Air conditioning is only provided in the 3 first floor bedrooms. The bedroom on the ground floor and in the basement were rather hot at night (but it was August). Pool is small but adequate. Beautifully kept garden. Needs more shade, 1x large umbrella shade was not enough for us all, when the garden is lucky enough to benefit from sun all day and we kept to the rule of no sun loungers on the grass. Grateful for the pre arrival shop delivery and the transfer taxis. Loved Lagos town well worth a visit.

We would certainly stay again. Perhaps could do with an extra sunshade. It’s quite a walk to beach, marina and town so a hire car will be helpful, particularly if you are pushing a buggy. Lovely pool area and garden and air con is very welcome. Great villa

Excellente vacances dans cette villa

Nous avons passé 15 jours au top dans cette villa a 12. Tout ce dont vous avions besoin etait a disposition. Chacun avait son espace. Changement des serviettes et draps au milieu du sejour, passage des jardiniers et de la personne pour l entretien de la piscine plusieurs fois lors du sejour. Nous avions juste a profiter :-) La maison se trouve bien a 10-15 min a pied de la grande plage et de la Marina ( il ne faut pas passer par le route principale car pas de trottoir mais par un petit chemin en en face de la villa ). Par contre pour vous rendre du coté du vieux centre ville ou bien des autres plages abritées du vent il faudra prendre la voiture ( 5 min ) ou bien traverser le.pont a la marina et marcher ( faisable si vous n avez pas d enfants en bas ages ). Seul petit point negatif si je cherche bien c est la chambre du rez de chaussée n est pas equipée de clim contrairement a toutes les autres. Les Echanges avec le proprietaire et l agence local qui s occupe de l entretien de la villa ont ete excellents. Nous recommandons cette villa les yeux fermée :-) et esperons y retourner lors d un prochain sejour a Lagos.

Villa in Lagos, Portugal

Spent a fabulous week in August 2019 with our family at Casa Sarah villa. Six adults and four children, ages 5,7 & 8 Beautifully clean and spacious property, couldn't ask for more. Large lounge with TV (inclusive of dvds and games), plus large dining table accommodating 10 people and an ample well equipped kitchen area. Bedrooms were also spacious with ample wardrobe and cupboard space. Lower ground floor had a large games room including table tennis, pool/snooker table, darts and table football which we all enjoyed. The outdoor area was also well equipped with sun lounges, barbecue, outdoor dining table which seated all of us, and also had an additonal large table at the side of the barbecue if required, but for the children the pool was the best and even had some inflatables to have fun on. A 12/15 min easy stroll took you to the beautiful meia praia beach offering you many water sports, lovely beach cafes, pedaloes, sunbed/parasol hire if you wished, etc etc. The beautiful Lagos town was a 20 min walk, offering an abundance of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants which line the cobbled streets of the old town. There is also a small harbour also lined with bars and cafes where you can book a variety of boat trips to see dolphins, coves and beaches along the coast. If you do not wish to walk to Lagos then for a small price of 5/6 euros you can hire a taxi. All in all we had a great holiday and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for this type of accommodation.

Stunning spacious villa

Perfect quiet location. Short lovely walk to the beach (this one was never busy or crowded). Villa immaculate and clean with everything you require. Very spacious and laid out and plenty of room for the 12 of us ages from 6 to 83 !! Games room a huge hit with everyone. Garden is lovely with a great pool. In a lovely peaceful area a 5 minute drive or 35 minute walk into Lagos. A perfect 5 star break in this beautiful villa. Chris was thorough and very helpful in all communications.

excellent property, fully equipped for families including large games room. Stair gates fitted at top and bottom a bonus as property is on 3 floors. A car is advised, especially for shopping, and beach visits with younger children, trips. Highly recommended.

A Family holiday with 9 adults ranging in age from 23 - 64 and two toddlers 2 and 3 yrs, Casa Sarah was perfect. From the moment we enquired about Casa Sarah the communication with Chris was excellent. Nothing was too much bother from organising our airport transfer minibus both ways and organising two 6 seater taxis during our stay to go to Slide and Splash water park. The Villa is amazing , larger than the photos make it look, extremely clean and with everything you need during your stay. It is a bit of a walk to the marina but with Uber costing just €3 getting around was easy. Lovely walk to the beaches and bars. The pool was perfect (we paid for heating) and the games room was great fun ! Great BBQ facilities and plenty of seating for everyone ! We would all highly recommend Casa Sarah !

Casa Sarah was a lovely villa, well furnished with all the amenities anyone could want. The outside was spacious with plenty of seating and a lovely pool, but it was the games room that really proved to be the star of the show. We had a great week at the villa. There was a lovely (quiet) beach within a 10 minute walk and the restaurants and bars in the marina area were also within walking distance. Chris the owner was very helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommended.

Great villa with a great owner

I was a bit apprehensive booking a villa but from day 1 my dealings with Chris, the owner, were excellent. He always replied to emails speedily & sent a great supply of info about the booking & arrivals procedure & the others services he offered, private boat hire, shopping service etc. Chris arranged our transfer & We had some hiccups on arrival but was met by Arine at the villa who was wonderful & gave us a lift down to the local Supermarket (Pingo Doce) to get supplies. We were a party of 10 & the villa was excellent for us, lots of room to find a quiet corner if needed, great air conditioning in the bedrooms & a very clean pool. The pool at Casa Sarah is smaller than that at Casa Maurice but was plenty for all of us to play. The villa is about a 5 min walk to a little shop but about 15 to Pingo Doce and along part of the road there is no pavement so is a little dangerous so single file. Also we never walked back up at night as there is one steep bit & no lighting so get a cab..... which by the way are AWFUL !!!!!!! Getting a cab is like finding a unicorn, they have their own agenda & waited for up to 1 hour on 2 occasions. Anyway, that aside I would recommend Casa Sarah in a heartbeat, well equipped & laid out, in very quiet surroundings and within a lovely garden. Thank you once again Chris for the fuel for the fondue & everything else. We had a ball x

Beautiful villa in fabulous setting

Casa Sarah is a wonderful villa with every amenity you could ask for. It is in a secluded quiet location at the end of a cul de sac. The layout is ideal for families or friends sharing the villa, with enough room for everyone. It was superbly clean and modern and the kitchen even has 2 fridge freezers, so plenty of room to keep your drinks cold. The garden and pool area were immaculate,, with plenty of seating for sunbathing or outdoor dining.. The built in barbecue was of great use.. We met both the owner and the manager of the property whilst we were there and nothing was too much trouble.. We were there as a family group of 6 adults and 3 children under 5. I would recommend the villa to others , but the only negative was the location to both the beach and Lagos town. The nearest small supermarket is 0.5 mile and 10 minutes walk. The actual Marina is 1 mile and a good 20 mins walk, while the main square in Lagos with plenty of bars and restaurants is 1.3 miles and about 30 minutes. These distances are accurate as we walked there each day and my son in law had a special watch that measured distances , for his daily runs!!. The beach is a good 30 minutes walk. So if you have children or don't like walking then a car would be recommended as a must... Overall it was a very good holiday.

Beautiful Villa in a lovely town

Casa Sarah is an amazing villa. It was still spacious even with 10 people, and the pool and garden are lovely. Chris (the owner) was so helpful when we were booking our holiday, answering the smallest of questions very quickly. The villa is about a 15 min walk from the marina and about 20 mins from the town. Lagos is a brillant town, with something for everyone. I'd strongly recommend casa sarah to anyone. We will definately be back!

sehr gutes Feriendomiziel in Lagos

Casa Sarah ist ein sehr gutes Feriendomiziel in Lagos. Stadt und Strandnah aber doch ruhig gelegen. Gute Ausstattung. Achtung Villa wird nicht übergeben und auch nicht abgenommen. Wir hatten am ersten Morgen bemerkt das ein Esstischstuhl nicht ok war und ihn beim Hausservice reklamiert. Es gab keinen Kommentar dazu . Nach unserer Rückkehr nach Deutschland wurde aber die Kaution nicht zurückgezahlt. Vermieter hat sich bis Heute nicht mehr gemeldet.

Easter holiday at Casa Sarah

We had an excellent holiday at Casa Sarah, with 5 assorted teenagers. Chris was very helpful and responded promptly to enquiries. The house was an easy 40 minutes from Faro airport, though we should probably have used the satnav as I've forgotten how to follow written instructions. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac of similar properties, mostly second homes. The house easily accommodated us all with enough space for us all to do our own thing. I often had to remind the boys to emerge from the fun packed games room for some fresh air when the sun was out They had great fun horsing around in the pool, and I was pleased we had asked for it to be heated, so they could still play in it in the evening and on rainy days. The beach is wide and lovely, very clean and almost empty though there are a couple of discreet bars tucked away. It is only a 10 minute walk along an unmade road through a beautiful pasture. Most days there were great breakers for splashing in, but on one of the mill pond days we saw a school of dolphins playing about 30m from where the kids were swimming! The back of the house opens onto a green open space with fantastic birdlife, and the houses on the other side feel quite distant, and are mostly screened with trees. Visiting Albufeira made us realise how lucky we were to stay in a peaceful area,but close to amenities, with low key Lagos itself within walking distance for the kids. The house is very clean and well equipped , with insect screens upstairs and shutters on all the windows.The sofas are comfy and the bedrooms and bathrooms goodsized, (but difficult to fit more than 8 round the dining table). The kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, blender, microwave etc.There are dishwasher tabs to get you started. The TV and DVD worked fine (limited English satellite channels, and we couldn't find any local ones). Most of the activities locally weren't open during our stay, Aquapark opens in June and pedalos etc in May, but that did reduce costs! We were texted about the volcanic disruption by a friend the night before we were due to leave, and Chris was so helpful when I made contact. We were able to stay on as the house wasn't booked for the following week. In the end our return was delayed a whole week ,so I can attest to the washing machine working. Chris very kindly waived the rental fee for the second week, which is in great contrast to the horror stories we have heard. Unusually for us we are very likely to return

A fantastic holiday.

Dear Chris, I wanted to send you this message on behalf of my family to thank you for your part in what was a fantastic summer holiday this year. We had an excellent time, something that should not be assumed with 3 children, one of which is 2 years of age and with the beach so easily accessible, it was great fun to see her paddle in the sea. The accommodation was fantastic, immaculately clean, well furnished and maintained, offering us all the amenities we required. Much of our time was spent relaxing by the pool and having evening bar-b-ques- despite the great location allowing us to readily explore the wonderful town of Lagos and many other of the locations on the Algarve, all of which were in the information pack that you provided us with, another attention to detail that you should be commended for. Fantastic stay in Villa 'Casa Sarah' in 2009.

Myself & 8 others friends in their fifties stayed in this villa in Sept and it was everything we could have hoped for. The pictures did not do the villa justice and it was even nicer than we expected. Exceptionally clean and nice bed linen. We have been doing this for years and the girls said it was the best villa we have ever stayed. in The pool area with its lovely outdoor dining set and loungers was great, we had a few good nights there. The beach is a bit of a walk through fields and might not be great for bringing small children though its only a few minutes drive. You can walk to the town in about 13 mins but the road has no footpaths so would be dangerous at night. Otherwise I would strongly recommend this villa for a trip to Lagos.

Casa Sarh is a wonderful villa with a spacious living & sleeping areas set in a quiet cul-de-sac, within walking distance of the amenities in Lagos. I can safely say that, without fear of contradiction, it is easily the best villa that I have ever stayed at in the Algarve. The owner provided a very comprehensive pack with very explicit directions of how to get to the villa from the Airport. All details in the pack were completely accurate & the attention to detail was impressive. All inormation provided about things to do & places to eat helped make the holiday a wonderful experience. I would recommend the villa to anyone.

Casa Sarah, Albarderia

Wow, what a fantastic villa and resort. The villa was truly spectular and is situated in a quiet part of Albarderia. The villa is very private, well equipped and provided us with a fantastic base for our 2 week holiday in Portugal. The villa has a fantastic games room, 5 very spacious bedrooms and a large patio area. The pool is not massive but plenty big enough for the 8 of us. Our only dis-appointment was having to come home. Would definately recommend this villa and would come back again in the future.

Lovely family holiday at Casa Sarah

We had a really lovely time at Casa Sarah. It's a beautiful house with a wonderful pool. Eveything you could possibly need is supplied. The house is very clean and exceptionally well furnished. It provided us with the perfect base to relax and also to explore when feeling adventurous. I would fully recommend this property and the service provided by Chris.

The location of Casa Olivia Rose is ideal it enables the guests to be able to walk to the beach, marina and town centre. A car is not essential for this holiday option. We also are able to provide reliable transfers from and back to Faro airport.
