Sr. Joao & Deolinda were fabulous hosts. The house was right out of a Portuguese dream . I asked if he'd ever consider selling, I'd be interested. Our group of 13 adults. 2 families couldn't have asked for more. Cooking was like a Portuguese household fantasy. (We love to entertain & eat) . It was a FESTA every night. Thank you for being a part of a portugesa mommas dream. We were able to create the unforgettable memories everyone dreams of.

Lovely Easter stay with a warm welcome from the host on arrival. Property felt like home away from home and the pool was a big success with the kids. All facilities and equipment were stocked and readily available.Enjoyed some lovely BBQs and outdoor dining. Only slight downside was the neighbours dogs barking during the nights. Big thank you to the host and Deolinda for making us feel so welcome. Would love to return soon.

Lovely house and a great holiday

We loved this house - really big and spacious with everything you might need and a beautiful pool and garden. João was the perfect host and greeted us on arrival (with an amazing cake). The house is well positioned for day trips to Lisbon, Cascais and the wild Atlantic coast including the westernmost point of mainland Europe. The village is sleepy but has both a good restaurant, a coffee bar (don’t miss the pastel de nata) and a well stocked supermarket 3 mins drive or about 20 mins walk from the house. But we mostly enjoyed chilling out by the pool and relaxing. We all had a great time - thank you Joao!

Perfect house for holiday

Beautiful house, very neat and clean. Much bigger than it shows in photos and the garden is even more beautiful in real life. We even had our own vegetable garden and fruit trees. Everything you needed was there - we could not find any faults. The house stayed cool in hot days, the pool was clean, big and refreshing. Bed rooms were quiet and kitchen was large and you found everything for cooking etc. You will need a car to go to shops and restaurants but everything is anyway near. The host, João, was extremely helpful and very nice. we even got little gift for my birthday from him. We would happily recommend this place to everyone. Best holiday home we ever had stayed +++

A wonderful, peaceful getaway

Our party of 10 were thrilled to stay in this pretty, super-clean and spacious property. We were humbly welcomed by the owner, Joao, who is a total gentleman and only wanted the best for our stay. Nothing was too much trouble to ask from him and his nephews. The property has wonderfully peaceful surroundings, a beautifully tended garden and veg plot (by the lovely & cherry Deolinda) and a good sized inviting pool. The kids enjoyed all the nooks and crannies to explore the sprawling landscape as well as the use of the pool toys/floats/noodles. Not forgetting the Dogs, Spike and Brownie - oh how they were doted on and cuddled, daily. They are kenneled and looked after by carers but you can release them if you are dog lovers. The kitchen has everything you could want for and is fully equipped. It was the heart of the home, for us. We made full use of that as we were entirely self catering although there are a couple of eateries in the local village as well as a little shop that has all the basics you might need including a butcher, fresh rolls and groceries. The rooms were cool and comfortable to sleep with the option of air con and/or extra blankets if you needed them. Towels are provided plus pool towels which helps reduce weight in your baggage. Plus. With the access to a washing machine, you can clean your clothes throughout your stay; again, reducing your packing of many clothes! Asked if we would choose this property again? ABSOLUTELY YES!

Wij hadden een hele fijne vakantie in het prachtige huis van Joao. Het huis is heel mooi, groot en super praktisch aan alles is gedacht van wasmachine, strijkijzer tot boter, kruiden... . We genoten van de prachtige tuin met het geweldig zwembad. Het huis is ook ideaal gelegen. Lissabon, Obidos Sintra, Tomar.... allemaal in de buurt. Joao zorgt ervoor dat alles prima verloopt en Jolinda ontving ons met een lekkere cake. Het verblijf is echt een aanrader!!! Wij hebben mooie herinneringen aan dit verblijf!!!

Nous avons passez de superbes vacances dans la mais Santa Ana et San Joao. La maison est très bien équipée, la literie confortable et tout est entretenu avec soin. La piscine au sel est particulièrement agréable. La maison se situe à 30 ou 45 minutes de nombreux lieux touristiques importants, idéal pour combiner visites et détente. Et surtout l'accueil et les petites attentions de l'hôte nous ont vraiment touchés.

Bonjour, Maison de famille très agréable, et confortable .,et d'une grande propreté. Elle offre tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer de bonnes vacances. Grandes pièces de vies et cuisine sur équipée très appréciée. Nous avons également aimé et dégusté les légumes du petit jardin mis à notre disposition Merci a son hôte et son aide "Déolinda" Seul petit point désagréable , les chiens dans le chenil de la cour. problème vite régularisé suite à notre demande à Mr Joao Je recommande cette maison de famille , très adaptée pour tous petits et grands Un grand merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité

Très bon séjour

Propriété identique à la description, bien agencée avec de grandes pièces,coin nuit et jour bien séparés permettant un repos tranquille. Extérieur très agréable avec une jolie piscine et un jardin potager à notre disposition. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Jõa , le propriétaire qui est une personne très gentille, et par Deolinda qui est très serviable en cas de besoin.

Excelente para todas as idades

Pelo terceiro ano passámos uma semana de verão na casa do Senhor João e correu tudo como esperado. Desta vez com algumas crianças e o espaço cumpriu como devia. Muita área para brincadeiras, casa com todas as condições para as acolher e um estado impecável à chegada. Anfitrião e pessoal de apoio de uma simpatia incrível, como ainda há poucos. Quer venham só com amigos ou com família, esta casa fará com que se sintam em Casa.

Tudo foi perfeito a casa e o jardim são lindos e a piscina foi bastante apreciada por toda a família. A casa está equipada com tudo. Quero agradecer ao Sr João que é muito amável e prestativo e não posso deixar de agradecer à D. Deolinda que é incansável e sempre muito prestativa. Com certeza vamos tentar voltar novamente 🙏☺️

Passámos mais uma vez as nossas férias em grupo de amigos na casa do Sr. João e novamente fomos recebidos como família. Sentimo-nos realmente em casa, quer seja pelo facto de termos todas as comodidades disponíveis em casa, quer seja pela calorosa recepção que temos sempre que encontramos o Sr. João. Condições de limpeza impecáveis, óptimo conforto para grupos grandes mesmo com bébés e um espaço exterior incrível. Recomendado 5 estrelas

L'oasis de Pontevel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. João le propriétaire et Deolinda qui l'assiste sont aux petits soins pour leur locataires. La maison est immense et très bien entretenue, idéale pour les familles. On y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. Prestation plus que complète. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine est parfaite. Le petit plus le potager avec des légumes bio. Nous recommandons la cuisine traditionnelle familiale de Deolinda (caldo verde, porc aux palourdes, brandade de morue, pasteis de nata). Cette maison est un petit paradis où nous avons passé un très beau séjour entre repos et visite (Lisbonne, obidos, cascais sintra). Les enfants (6 enfants de 3 à 14 ans) ont adoré le grenier des enfants, nombreux jouets et jeux de société à disposition ainsi que des gonflables pour la piscine.

Villa on tilava ja sopii loistavasti koko suvun lomanviettoon, koska talossa on eri siipiä ja paljon kylpyhuoneita. Talossa on mukavan viileää, vaikka ulkona on kuumaa. Villalla on ihanan rauhallista ja kauniit maisemat. Piha on suojaisa ja hyvin hoidettu. Kaunis atriumpiha. Lasten tarpeet on huomioitu hienosti, leluja ja pelejä löytyy. Talossa on erittäin kattava varustelu. Keittiöstä löytyy kaikki mitä voi toivoa. On pesukone, pyyhkeitä etc. Loistava paikka rentoutumiselle. Isäntä erittäin sydämellinen ja helposti lähestyttävä. Nautimme kovasti, kun saimme tilata edulliset kotilounaat suoraan villalle.

Incrível !

O Casal de Stª Ana e S. João, mais que um alojamento, é um projecto de vida. Isso é transparecido com a paixão e dedicação com que o Sr. João nos recebeu e apresentou a propriedade. O ambiente da casa é muito bom. O espaço exterior relvado, com uma piscina enorme chamam logo a atenção. No interior da casa, temos à disposição uma cozinha completamente equipada com tudo o que é necessário no dia-a-dia e ainda algo mais. Toda a casa tem espaço que chega e sobra para umas férias confortáveis. Para um grupo de amigos ou famílias grandes, mesmo com crianças pequenas, oferece todas as comodidades. Merecem ser mencionadas as excelentes condições de limpeza que encontrámos ao chegar, com menção honrosa para a Sra. D. Deolinda que está também sempre disponível e prestável com a sua simpatia e dedicação. Muito obrigado pelos miminhos que nos ofereceu no início e no fim da estadia e no próximo ano lá estaremos de novo! Um grande bem haja.

Férias inesquecíveis

Uma semana fantastica na companhia de amigos. A casa, acompanhada de todas as suas comodidades, propocionou-nos umas ferias inesquecíveis. É uma casa cheia de história e tradição, tem um jardim lindo. O anfitrião é muito simpático e prestável. Queriamos agradecer também à Dna. "partimos com a esperança de um dia aqui voltar..."

Há muito, que as nossas férias são sempre em família - toda a família! Porém, onde encontrar um sítio agradável, tranquilo, piscina, jardim, relvado, horta, entretenimentos para as crianças e, muito, muito importante, suficientemente espaçoso para acolher 16 pessoas? Não foi fácil, porém, não poderíamos ter melhor sorte - Casal de Santa Ana e S. João. Uma casa com História! Gostámos, gostámos muito, apreciámos, disfrutámos, recuperámos forças, e... meditámos (que lugar tão singular o pequeno oratório...) E, como diz a eterna melodia, "partimos com a esperança de um dia aqui voltar..." Ao Sr. João, agradecer a maneira simpática e tão carinhosa como acolheu a nossa família. Agradecer a receção de boas vindas, incluindo o saboroso bolo da D. Deolinda. Obrigado! E, a terminar dizer-lhe apenas: como é reconfortante encontrar no nosso caminho pessoas como o Senhor...! Um espaço muito especial e que deixou saudades!!!

Resultado de um projeto familiar e muito especial, encontrámos um espaço adorável, repleto de paz e tranquilidade. A casa é lindíssima, cheia de pormenores muito bem pensados e com um ambiente muito familiar! Ficamos com a sensação que estamos na nossa própria casa, embora numa morada que não é nossa. Uma piscina enorme, um jardim encantador, uma área para churrasco fantástica, seguidos de uma capela de madeira adorável e da companhia de 3 cães super simpáticos e muito calmos, que fizeram as delícias dos miúdos e graúdos. O acolhimento foi excelente, com o bolo apetitoso da Sra. D. Deolinda, a simpatia da Sra. D. Fernanda e, claro, do cuidado especial do nosso anfitrião , o Sr. João Tomé Boleo que teve a amabilidade de nos receber, apresentando os cantos à casa, e despedir-se de nós no regresso às nossas casas. Parabéns por este lindo projeto e as maiores felicidades para todos (não esquecendo a Raposinha, o Gaspar e a Brownie)!!! Sem dúvida, uma estadia que deixou saudades.
