“Cavalo Preto Beach resort” herbergt een 30-tal moderne, luxueuse en ruime appartementen, goed gelegen in het hart van de Gouden Driehoek tussen Vilamoura en Vale de Lobo.

Er is een enorme keuze aan bars, restaurants, stranden en golfbanen in de onmiddellijke omgeving – van het plaatselijke strand barrretje vlakbij op het strand tot de internationale befaamde goede restaurants in de 5 sterren resorts van Vale de Lobo en Quinta do Lago.

Gelegen in een particuliere tuin met een gemeenschappelijk zwembad en een speeltuin voor de kinderen.

What an amazing place to stay at during the last week of our vacation! Spacious, comfortable, clean, and modern apartment with a huge balcony to sit and relax on any time of the day. Great communication prior to our stay and host contact, Valeria, met us for check i and walked us through everything we needed to know and even provided great suggestions for local reataurants in the area!Secure parking and access to complex and beautiful pool for swimming or soaking up the sun!Within easy walking distance to the beach or the promenade with restaurants and shopping.Hated to leave this perfect vacation spot and will certainly stay here again when we return to the area!

The place was amazing, quiet and a small resort. Everything is clean and our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo was large enough for 4 of us. The pool was clean. The manager of the condo was attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay.

Great Stay

Perfect location. Lovely complex. Great pool. Nice and quiet. Easy walk to shops and bars/restaurants. Almost completely flat so perfect for anyone with mobility issues. Apartment had everything we needed. Fridge struggled to stay cold so may need to be serviced or replaced. To be fair it was very warm. Overall would stay again. Thanks to Andei for meeting us in the early hours and being so helpful.

Holiday in Quartiera

Attractive, well maintained apartment a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the laid back town of Quartiera which had a more relaxed and peaceful vibe than other tourist areas.

Week long stay.

The appt had everything we needed and was really nice. Close to beach and restaurants. There is a lot of building going on but it didn't really bother us. The security cameras around the pool area and rules about sand is a bit odd but as we went to the fantastic beach it was fine. Andrei helped us with check in and our experience was really great.

Wonderful holiday

We had a brilliant 3 week stay in this fabulous, well equipped and very spacious apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and the rooms were uncluttered and welcoming. Andrei gave us a warm welcome and was always on hand when we needed anything - he really went above and beyond for us. I had to work for part of the holiday and the wifi was very strong and reliable enabling me to complete all Teams and Zoom calls seamlessly. The kids enjoyed watching the large TV and we all enjoyed spending time by and in the pool. The AC is quick and efficient and soon cooled the rooms down after a day at the beach. The balcony was our highlight - we ate breakfast and lunch out there and spent many happy hours sipping coffees in the morning and wine in the evenings, enjoying the shade and the breeze. Real quality time. It’s true that the sea view is now blocked by a 2-storey development on the sea front. And at the moment the immediate vicinity is very much a building site. BUT the apartment complex is an oasis of peace and tranquility, 3 mins walk from the beach, 6 mins from a supermarket (5 mins drive to Lidl) and situated in a neighbourhood full of great restaurants (sushi, Portuguese, seafood, Venezuelan, pizza to name but a few). We could not have asked for a better location and no car needed - Ubers were plentiful for destinations further afield. We would happily return to this apartment. And thank you very much to Tom and Andrei for taking such good care of us.

Great apartment and location

Amazing apartment. Fantastic swimming pool especially for kids in a secure location and really close to the beach and a number of restaurants. Also a short drive (or taxi ride) to Vilamoura marina and Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. Communication with the owner Tom and the property manager Andrei was first class - both were really helpful and made our stay a memorable one. We will return! Thank you.

Yes, they are building a new complex between this unit and the ocean No Problem. The unit is 1st class. The property manager is 1st class. So book it now you will not be disappointed.

Cavalo Preto is a nice place to stay

Overall experience was fantastic. The apartment is beautiful and well appointed. The location is great with plenty of pedestrian friendly walking opportunities nearby. The only negative was that the ad in VRBO did not mention the fact that the ocean view is now blocked by construction of a new building - which turned out to be a little disappointing but acceptable to us. We all agreed we would go back again.

Excellent apartment in perfect location

We had a fabulous week staying at Cavalo Beach Resort, the apartment was luxurious with a lovely spacious terrace and a sea view. It’s just a short stroll to the beach and plenty of excellent restaurants and a few shops. We walked along the beach to Vilamoura which took about an hour and had a trip out to the caves on a catamaran which we would recommend. We had no problem getting a sun-bed round by the pool which was very clean and not too busy. The booking process was very efficient, Tom kept us informed and recommended an excellent company for our transfer from the airport. The property manager Andrei was waiting for us on our arrival and gave us lots of useful information and was really helpful too. Overall it was a lovely relaxing week in a quiet location, just what we wanted. We look forward to returning again!

We had a very nice stay at this property. Andrei the property manager communicated well and met us on arrival to walk through everything. The apartment is large and comfortable and the terrace is big with a nice sea view. Grounds are well kept. Parking is in underground garage and the parking stall is close to the elevator making unloading and access quick and simple. It is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and 3-4 minutes to the Quarteira promenade. A small grocery store is also 3 minutes walk. All in all a relaxing week at this property.

A fantastic stay

If you are considering staying in the Algarve then this is ideal, right next to the beach in a modern upscale apartment. The apartment is everything you could ask for and the pictures do not do it justice. The rooms are large and very clean, the air con is great. Blinds are great and the kitchen is fully equipped. The pool area was never overly busy with chairs always available. The beach is a 3 minute walk and with a fantastic sea breeze on the balcony. The only very minor issue was internet speed which I'm sure could be rectified if necessary. I would stay here again at the drop of a hat. Thanks for a wonderful stay. :-)

Exceeded our expectations

We loved the location in quiet neighborhood with beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. It was enjoyable vacation, total rest what we desperately needed. Walking distance to an endless sand beach and several good restaurants made things easy and convenient. That includes a swimming pool and and underground garage. The apartment was with large living room and a kitchen with all appliances that we did not use much. We appreciate warm welcome and easy, straight communications with the owner and his agent. Excellent job!
