We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Every morning we had deer visiting us. The home is comfortable with all the amenities. Only complaint is the WiFi signal is too weak, so we had to use our data plan.
So sorry you had that problem!, We were not made aware until just now. . Was a simple fix: Rebooted the modem today.
Excellent Tiny House in Polson!
My husband and I headed out to MT for a 2 year anniversary trip, wanting to visit both Flathead Lake as well as Glacier National. This was an awesome house that offered exactly what we were looking for with an incredible view to accompany it! If you are looking for a quiet, well equipped option for travel across MT this is it. We really enjoyed our first every tiny house stay!
Great, peaceful with a beautiful view
The cabin was extremely clean and had thoughtful amenities. It was like a little Manhattan apt but within a cabin with amazing views. We saw a mother deer and her 3 baby deer one morning. Location is very close to restaurants and Flathead Lake.

Unfortunately the property host experience doesn’t reflect the property.
My partner and I had a change of travel plans and wouldn’t be arriving until a day later than expected. We messaged Roland kindly asking if he would be willing to shorten our stay- fully okay with him saying he was sorry but not able to accommodate. Instead, he rudely responded saying he usually would accommodate but has someone checking in the day we are leaving. We explained we did not want to leave any later, just check in a day later. He said that if someone booked when we were booked he would refund us, clearly not understanding no one can book online when we have it booked. Roland would not change our booking dates but continued to say if someone would book he would refund. His responses made no since and was extremely rude. When he was done with the conversation he responded “this conversation thread is complete”.
I have never had such a negative experience with a host. We were kind and understand and he was hostile, rude and could not clearly follow the conversation. It was so unfortunate that he ruined the experience for us as the place was very nice and the view was great.
Rude? Read the message stream and decide. Megan wanted ME to cancel a booked night, guests must do the cancellation, I cannot. if she cancelled that would have left a two day bookable slot, her way left just a one day opening which is non bookable. Grow up Megan and welcome to the world of rules: VRBO's rules
7-27:R: You are right in that regard, I CANNOT change the booking date without getting fined and losing ranking. VRBO rules. YOU must cancel the date(s) you are requesting, and the system will adjust your financial obligation accordingly. I have no control over that. My question was- how will someone else potentially be able to book the 7th (to help us out) if it shows as unavailable on VRBO? We do not mean to cause you extra work and appreciate you working with us.
R: You committed to three nights, you now desire two? That's fine, we will release you of that commitment if someone books that one night. Otherwise you are obligated to three, VRBO rules. No different than if we said" We know you paid for three nights, but we have someone that's needs the cabin that third night, so we are truncating your visit to two" I'm sorry, but that's how it works.
M: Ok, it sounds like you are unwilling to re- schedule up front. I am confused how someone else would be able to book the 7th online if the dates remain the same.
R: Hello again Megan, I agree, It could rebook, and if it does we will refund your reservation.
M: Hey Roland, it seems like maybe there may be some confusion on both sides so I’ll try to reiterate. Instead of shifting the dates forward I was hoping that I could reduce the number of days I am staying, so it won’t impact the person checking in on Wednesday.
I realize that this is last minute but I am certain the day before will book if you adjust the reservation. It’s a super popular and awesome spot. My partner and I are pumped to spend our time there! It would certainly be a bummer to us if we had to eat the cost.
