Perfect flat to stay in London
I had an amazing time in London with my children. The flat is perfectly situated. The area is full of restaurants and shops to find stuff to eat.
It is really close to Camden and all the nice places of the center of London. The underground is a few minutes away from the flat.
All the explanations to get in are perfect and easy to understand.
The flat itself is really clean. Nice mastress, we slept perfectly. There is no noise. Towels and sheets were perfect and clean as well.
Janet answered really quickly to my answer. Thank you for this perfect moment.
If I come back in London, I come back here again, for sure!

Ok place to stay
This was an okay place to stay - bed and sleeper couch were okay (but not great). Kitchen was adequate. There was plenty of hot water in shower. We did walk from apartment to downtown in about an hour with stops and looking around. Directions to apartment were accurate. You are on the bottom floor so you will need to keep drapes shut at night to keep people walking on street from looking in (there is a metal fence between the sidewalk and apartment). Noise level in upper apartments was noticeable on the weekend - it is a large apartment building.
The property manager did respond well to emails prior to the trip. However, without wi-fi we could not contact her when we discovered the key to the gate was not outside the property so we could not get onto the property to access the apartment. This would have been catastrophic late at night. Luckily it was afternoon so neighbors were around to let us onto the property where we could access the apartment's key. The wi-fi password provided prior to our trip was old - luckily someone had written it in the room so we could connect.

The situation with the key has now been rectified, and we have a key outside the property to enter through the gate. The system I had used for the previous 8 years, suddenly changed through no fault of my own. The caretaker had started to lock the gate, which I had always left open for the guests. Previously, I was the only person to have a key for the gate. It would not have been “ catastrophic” if they had arrived at night. My phone number (and my managers) is printed in the directions. So if there had been a problem, they could have phoned me. I would have then phoned my neighbour to let them in. There is also another way of entering the apartment through the front entrance, if the need arises. So it would not have been a problem, whatever time they arrived.
I had a new router and the WiFi code had changed. I had sent the Welcome Book to the guests, long before this happened. It was my mistake that I hadn’t sent the updated details. Although, the WiFi access code is printed in the base of the router, so it was there for them to see.
The apartment has a new Sofabed (delivered Feb 2020) so I hope the bed is now more than “adequate “
I have never had any other comments about noise coming from the flat above, and I have been renting this apartment for over 8 years.......
Excellent accommodation in East London
If staying in this area of the city is a requirement, then this property fulfills that function very well. Close to all amenities, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, public transport: underground and bus, the apartment is so convenient. The hostess leaves a sheaf of well prepared notes with details of the neighbourhood, and the apartment is well equipped with everything you might need in the kitchen. Our only problem was a malfunctioning fridge, which I'm sure the owner will rectify in due course.

Leiligheten ligger på det nordøstlige utkanten av City Square Mile, på vei mot West End. Old Street tube stn (Northern Line) er bare 5 minutter unna. Leiligheten ligger i mellom de store veiene i Old Street & City Road, hvor du finner busser til West End, Kings Cross, Tower Hill, Upper Street (Islington). Med gode transportforbindelser, kan du navigere deg lett rundt i London og ingenting er langt unna. Du kan også gå til mange attraksjoner, og dermed se mer av London som du går. A-Z gitt. Den pulserende områdene i Shoreditch, Spitalfields og Brick Lane er bare 1. 2 til 0,5 miles away, hvor du kan nyte en flott kveld enten spise eller se på komedie eller live band. I motsatt retning, vil du finne Upper Street, Islington med mange trendy barer, restauranter og nattklubber. Sadlers Wells teater er innen gangavstand, som er Barbican Centre. Utover det gå ned til St. Paul-katedralen, og deretter på Fleet Street, Aldwych (Strand) og Trafalgar Square. Covent Garden ligger like nord for Strand, hvor du finner Londons teater og en overflod av restauranter og engelsk pub-tallet. Ta en båttur fra Embankment og besøke Kew Gardens eller Hampton Court eller hodet øst til Greenwich og besøke Royal Observatory i Greenwich Park. Videre langs elva er Thames Barrier. Det er 3 store supermarkeder i nærheten, med en å være en to minutters spasertur unna på Old Street og en lokal kafé er bare ett minutt unna. Også i nærheten, er en flott fiskerestaurant, og dette blir brukt av mange av London svart cabbie tallet. Besøk den lokale søndag blomst, marked - Columbia Row - og deretter hodet ut til Brick Lane og Old Spitalfields Market. Regents canal kan nås veldig lett også. Spaser til City of London og gå seg vill i en verden av historie, med monumenter og byggets dateres tilbake i tid.
