The Mountain View Lodge is a relatively new luxury log home/chalet which backs up to the Gallatin National Forest on a quiet dead-end street and only minutes from the West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. The home has a great view of Lionshead Peak and the surrounding mountains of the Continental Divide. It has 1,750 sq ft of living space, including 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Family Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Sleeping Loft plus over 700 sq ft of covered side porch and open deck to enjoy the beautiful mountain views! It's been a long time since we had seen the night sky with so little light pollution. Our son had his telescope and we enjoyed star gazing and seeing a comet. We also had an unexpected and shy visitor on our deck....a fox!! We highly recommend staying at this home when visiting Yellowstone."
