Secluded, rustic property on over an acre. Please read entire description before booking.
Recently remodeled cozy cabin with amazing views and direct access to a cove filled with all your favorite fishing targets (catfish, large mouth bass, etc.). The large patio and outdoor area is stocked with propane and charcoal grills (propane is provided, charcoal is not provided), ensuring you can entertain in style! There is a charcoal/wood smoker at the picnic area near the shore.
The views are amazing anywhere on the property, bring your camera for close-ups of bald eagles and deer.
If you are a tournament or casual angler, this property is for you! We have a dock in the cove for your convenience. If kayaking is your thing, you will love exploring the cove, which has little creeks running off of it (bring your own or conveniently rent from us). The cove is protected by large pine trees on three sides, allowing kayakers and boats access to the water, even on very windy days.
This property also works for hunters, as the National Forest surrounds it so we hope to see you during hunting season.
The best thing is this secluded property is only ten minutes from Broaddus and 15 minutes from Pineland, Jackson Hill Marina and Powell Park so you can easily get the supplies you need to keep your memorable vacation rolling.
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE BOOKING:
- The property is reached by a private dirt road for the last 1/4 mile. There are some roots and general unevenness. Regular cars, trucks and trailers can access the property safely when going slowly. We do not recommend taking any vehicles that sit low to the ground to this property.
- We have satellite internet with speeds ranging from 3-25Mbps. We usually have no problem streaming movies and TV. There are peak hours and storms when not only do we not have great internet bandwidth but times there is no service at all for up to several days. We do not offer refunds or price adjustments during outages. If you need fast, 100% reliable WiFi service you should book a different property.
-The cabin is set back from the water about 150 yards. There is a dirt road from the cabin to the picnic/firepit area that is walkable and drivable, but again there are some roots and unevenness.
