Villa Altus is a charming villa, private and luxurious with 660mts and a big garden (1200mts) located just 5 minutes from several of Portugal’s most beautiful beaches and 30 minutes from Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. This classic style villa is furnished with quality throughout. We pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness to propose to our guests the best! We invite all nature lovers to visit Villa Altus and enjoy a great time!

Only several minutes away are facilities for paintball, tennis, squash, football, surf, kitesurf, windsurf, paragliding and so many other sports. Near from Villa Altus you can find some of the best-rated golf courses in the world, like Penha Longa in Sintra or Campo Real in Turcifal.

The localization of Villa Altus is perfect, near restaurants, supermarkets, famous wineries, different shops and a lot of services like hairdressers, spa’s, shopping centers, cinemas, ATM’S and so on… Just 10km away we can start to find some of the most beautiful Portuguese beaches like Assenta or Calada till Ericeira or Santa Cruz. Both are amazing places where people can do a lot of nautical sports like surf, jet sky or diving… Or just spend some time to enjoy nature, sun and relax near to the sea or in one of the many café’s and bars.

Adults & Kids: In our extensive surrounding gardens (1200mts) our guests can enjoy a game of badminton, football, petanque or just enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi, both have warm water. In a beautiful and classy room adults can find a pool table and some games like chess, poker table and others. The dedicated games room is equipped with Air Hockey table, table tennis, foosball, Playstation PS4 with professional playseat, videogame arcade, flippers machine etc...

There are 3 big suites in the villa, with closet and private bathrooms and 1 bedroom double and a bedroom with 4 individual beds. We provide as well individual single comfortable beds for each extra guest (up to 14). Bed linens, individual hygiene towels are provided for every single guest.

Besides all the activities and games we provide for the kids many other activities can be found in the area and up to 40kms from the villa like surf lessons, horse riding, aqua parks, zoo, oceanarium, science for kids, kidzania (a great place where kids can play professions like adults)…

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful villa - there was something for everyone young and old in the house. The playroom and amusements room were big hits, as was the heated swimming pool!

Lovely property and fabulous owner

The villa and surrounding areas are beautiful, with a huge amount to see, both historical and sporty, all within a 30 minute drive or 45 minutes if you venture into Lisbon. Lina, the owner, is incredibly helpful and responsive, doing whatever she could in advance and during our stay to make it enjoyable.

Villa Altus

The villa is superb- absolutely huge! All very clean and beautifully looked after. The pool table was a big hit. The location is remote, but easily accessible to various places and very peaceful.

Christmas holiday with the family

We were here with christmas and new yearand it was simply wonderfull. The host helped us very well! She even did some groceries for us since all the shops are closed on 25 december, which was our arrival date. She even made us a home made soup!! Thank you very much!

Holiday at the Villa Altus

Having stayed in some very nice hotels, villas etc over the years I can honestly say that Villa Altus is possibly the nicest accommodation I have ever stayed. Superbly laid out, impeccably clean and great facilities, I could not recommend the Villa highly enough. Maybe a few operating instructions for some of the appliances would be useful but I am just being picky, the owners are always very helpful and easily contactable......I loved it and will be returning as soon as I can. Thank you x

Collecting the keys was straightforward. All the rooms, in fact the entire accommodation was spotless. The villa featured everything we wanted/needed and so much more. The views from the large windows in the main room were stunning such as the sunsets and I particularly enjoyed standing in front of them watching the family swim and playing in the pool.Every member of the group always had something to do/play with (age range 2-63).I contacted our host a few times during the stay, she responded promptly. We did not have access to a car which would have made travelling easier. We relied on Uber on several occasions. They always arrived within 15 minutes, which considering the location, we were pleased with the service. Thank you for helping to make our holiday so special. Hope to be back soon x

Our family of 11 enjoy our week in this beautiful home. The house itself is beautiful and worked well for our families but we did notice some issues compared to other homes we have stayed in over the years. It was the first time we didn’t find basic cooking items that had been left by others and had to purchase almost everything needed to cook even basic meals. No measuring cups or spoons so lots of guess work took place. As parents, our largest concern was the fire alarm that went off at 4am one morning. We finally figured out how to silence the central system but in doing so felt we had then overridden the system so it would not respond if needed. With our children sleeping in the basement where the failure appeared to be, it concerned us that it was not addressed and that the central system didn’t seem to register anywhere but in the house. Because of this and the mosquito problem in the bunk room the kids were moved into their parents rooms which was not ideal for sure.

Luxurious house with a lot of entertainment.

The house offers plenty of entertainment in a very luxurious setting. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare your own food, and there is also a build-in barbecue outside which we happily used twice during our stay. The swimming pool was nice, although a bit small if you are with a larger company; there is not a lot of space to swim or play when there are 7+ people in the pool ;). The house was clean, just like the towels and everything on the beds. The showers are great; the one downstairs feels like it gives you a massage :D The area is pretty and quite. The only downside there is that most of the villagers did not even greet us back when we walked or drove by. There was a stray cat who came to our house a few times, she was very social and friendly. On our last day we went to a dining place close to the house (less than 10 minute drive), which was cheap with large plates of good food! This place was recommended by the owners of the house - be sure to ask them about it! We spend a lot of our time outside of the house. We went to Lisbon (~50 minute drive) and Mafra (~25 minute drive, nice palace there). We went to other places as well but I can't remember them now, the short story is that there is a lot to do and see within the 1 hour driving range! I fully recommend this house to anyone who wants a luxurious and relaxing stay in a small and quite village in Portugal.

Amazing villa!

Me and my friends were looking for a big house, in a quiet place but not far from basic needs such as supermarket and shopping, and also not far from the sea and touristic sites. This villa is just perfect, perfect location, a lot of space, well organized, the swimming pool was great to chill even at night (it is warmed!) and the games room is great for a good moment between friends. I definitely recommend this place and I'll probably come back one day!

Uma experiência inesquecível...

Após um ano de luta contra a doença, nada como celebrar a vitória e a vida com amigos e família. A Villa Altus foi o local escolhido e não podia ser melhor. Todas as pessoas adoraram a casa (luz, espaço, decoração) e as comodidades existentes. As crianças adoraram a piscina e a sala de jogos. Conseguimos criar uma memória Feliz em cada um, saímos com o coração mais cheio do que quando chegamos. Tenho a certeza de que voltaremos, os momentos Felizes devem ser repetidos e revividos. Marvelous house

Um dia muito feliz num espaço perfeito para a ocasião!

Estava à procura de um espaço privado e com alguns apontamentos de charme para uma festa intimista com familiares e amigos próximos a propósito do meu casamento civil. Quando descobri a "Villa Altus" confesso que, quase automaticamente, as restantes opções foram postas de parte. E foi a melhor decisão que podia ter tido! Aluguei a vila por três noites e dei uma festa linda num espaço perfeito para a ocasião. Todas as pessoas que lá estiveram adoraram a propriedade e destacaram o bom gosto na decoração. A casa é funcional, "cheia de luz", bastante espaçosa e acomoda confortavelmente em todos os seus diferentes espaços grupos de amigos e famílias. De destacar também a privacidade e sossego que a localização oferece. O espaço exterior é muito agradável e com uma vista bonita e desafogada. Crianças e adultos têm muito com que se "entreter" nas salas de jogos (os miúdos estavam radiantes!). A Sra. Lina foi sempre amável, prestável e disponível. Esclarecendo prontamente todas as questões que fui tendo ao longo deste processo e disponibilizando visitas ao espaço. Teve ainda a gentileza de mandar entregar um lindíssimo arranjo de flores durante a estadia. Por tudo isto, recomendo e espero voltar muito em breve!

Excellent maison!

Magnifique sejour

Superbe! Nous avons eu chez vous un séjour magnifique. Votre villa est incroyable, très belle et très bien équipée. Nous enfants ont bien profité des jeux et bien sûr de la piscine aussi! Merci pour votre accueil. Portugal est super. Brigitte
