THE PLACE

This apartment it’s located on the top floor of a building with elevator and it´s the ideal place to stay for a couple or for family or friends, allowing accommodation up to 2 (+2) persons.
The property is fully equipped with high quality materials to provide a comfortable stay and has a modern design, with modern décor. Every corner of the house is sophisticated and contemporary. The house is fully soundproofed, with air conditioning in all rooms, electric shutters, LED lights, smart TVs and many more details.
Bedroom is a suite furnished with a comfortable king size bed, large closet, TV (with Netflix connection) and a modern desk close to the window with a superb city view of Porto. The bathroom, with shower, is directly connected to the bedroom.
Kitchen is fully equipped and is connected to the dining area of the living room, with all the appliances to prepare all kind of meals: stove, oven, freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, etc.
Living room, have direct access to the terrace. To enjoy even better the sun, the terrace offers a relaxation area, oriented to east and west, the sun illuminates all day the space.
This apartment it’s ideal for short’s or long stay’s, or for those looking for a place to work temporarily, equipped also by a laundry space (washing machine, ironing board and iron).
Just 5 minutes from the apartment you will find all the services, as well as supermarkets, public transports, restaurants and shopping centers, among others.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

This apartment it’s located in the street Rua da Alegria, that is a huge artery of the city. It is, therefore, a good place to stroll. Here you will find one of Invicta's oldest ice cream shops, green spaces to relax, a store where you can buy clothes from other times and even a nightclub to dance until sunrise. The best? It is that despite being right in the center of the city, it is the quiet area.

This neighborhood is calm and here you feel like a true inhabitant of the city of Porto. In addition, the apartment is a short walk from the most emblematic streets of the city as for eg. Rua Santa Catarina: it is a pedestrian street, where you will find the emblematic Mercado do Bolhão, Majestic Café, Capela das Almas and along the way you will find typical shops, street vendors, street artists, restaurants and stylish cafes.

METRO - Stop BOLHÃO 500m from the house
At the Airport you need to buy a blue rechargeable card (0,60€) "Andante" and charge it for the zone Z4 (1,85 €).
Take the Purple line (E) in direction to Estádio do Dragão. Take the exit BOLHÃO.
At Bolhão metro station, take the exit to Rua de Fernandes Tomás, in front, you will see Capela das Almas. Continue straight ahead until you find crossroads. At the intersection, turn left and you will be on Rua da Alegria. Go up the street until you find the number 347A. The apartment is on your left.

TRAIN
From SÃO BENTO train station, enter at the São Bento subway station, just in front of the train station. Take the metro towards Hospital de São João (D) and get off at Trindade. Once you are at Trindade metro station, go to the first floor and take one of these lines (Fanzeres, Campanhã, Estádio do Dragão). Get off at BOLHÃO station. Once you are in Bolhão follow the instructions that are described above.

From CAMPANHÃ train station, take one of the 4 metro lines that have the station BOLHÃO. Once you are in Bolhão follow the instructions that are described above.

- Please remember this property is not a Hotel and therefore there is no reception neither someone in the property.
- I will always ask for your estimated time of arrival to organize your check-in and answer to all your questions.
- During your stay you can contact me through airbnb messages or on Whatsapp, even by phone call if you have an emergency. My contact is in my profile.
- I have a great respect and consideration for my neighbors. Most of them are families that have normal daily schedules. Therefore, one of the most important requests I make to my guests is to respect the hours of silence and to be respectful to the other residents.

COVID-19 SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FOR GUESTS

• To ensure proper cleaning and disinfection. We decided to implement a latency period corresponding to 1 day, before and after each stay, so that we have enough time to comply with our cleaning and disinfection procedure.
• After check out, all windows are opened to promote natural ventilation.
• All rigid surfaces are cleaned and disinfected with a chlorine-based detergent.
• All surfaces commonly used, such as: kitchen countertops, bathrooms, door handles, light switches, keys, remote controls, etc. are disinfected by spraying hydroalcohol disinfectant.
• All our sheets and towels are washed at high temperatures, in an industrial laundry.
• Curtains, sofas and other tissue surface items are disinfected by spraying an hydroalcohol disinfectant.
• Please note that all kitchenware must be rinsed before use.
• As always, we recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to be fully covered from any situation.
• Bring masks for yourself and all other guests. It is mandatory for check in. All public places in Portugal require that you wear masks indoors.
• If any of the guests do not have a mask for check in you will need to purchase it from us. Price is 3€/mask.
• If you experience symptoms of Covid19 you must contact us to check your health status.
• In case of need of quarantine, by imposition of the Portuguese health authorities, the stay may be extended in our place after evaluating the situation and depending on our availability.
• In case of extension of the stay, the guest must contact the platform through which the reservation was made, explain the situation, and extend the reservation from it. Extra nights must be paid according to the current calendar price and must be paid only through the booking platform.
• We will keep operating on a personal check-in basis whenever a self-check-in is not possible, but with the necessary protection measures: using a mask and at a social distance.
• Is especially important, letting us know your arrival time ate least 24 in the day before arrival.
• No handshake or contact compliment are allowed.
• ID guest for border services shall be performed online previously, with the filling of the form you receive some days before the arrival. Guests are responsible to confirm the ID details submitted and attest that it corresponds to the truth.
• Whenever the tourist tax must be paid in cash upon the arrival, please try to have the exact amount to avoid changes.
• The house book with rules and instructions about the house is available online. We will be sent you a link to access the guide. Please take some time to read it and contact us if you have any questions.
• Our proprety has soap dispensers in every bathroom. Please wash your hands using the full method for at least 20 seconds, several times a day.
• If you need, you can purchase from us 30 ml alcohol gel tubes, so you can use during your visit. Price: 1,5€/tub.
• We have removed some rugs, decorative pillows and other decorative items. We realize these items make the apartments ‘homier’, but they are also potential problem spots for infection and are difficult to clean and disinfect.
• The apartments have been cleaned and disinfected according to the recommendations of Government Health Department before your arrival. During your stay, please also take care to keep you and your family safe.
• If there is any problem with the apartment that requires assistance, the person that will assist you will use a mask and will only enter with your permission, and everyone who is in the same room should wear a mask.
• For longer stays, we will leave extra bed linen and towels. No maintenance cleaning will be carried out for stays of less than 10 days. The house has cleaning products that you can use.
• Consider avoiding AC and consider keeping window open in each room so that the air can circulate. To keep the apartment cool in the summer, lower or close the blinds.
• Do not remain in common areas of the building longer time than necessary. Please maintain social distancing: keep any visitors to your apartment to an absolute minimum.
• Consider leaving all shoes at the door inside the apartment.
• At your check-out, dispose of all trash (including recyclables) in the proper containers.
• At your check-out, do not leave any food in the fridge or on the kitchen counters.
• Unless there is an obvious chance of rain, please leave one window open in each room so that air can circulate, befor leaving the house.
• Leave the key in the table (never on the door) and close the door. Please make sure the door is correctly closed, by pushing it from the outside. Text us to let us know you left the apartment.
