The property was very good, only one issue there was only one set of keys which was unexceptionable, this issue was finally resolved by myself with out any help from HomeAway which again is unexceptionable they should have contact the property Manager as soon as I sent them my email but instead had a poor excuse which they sent out to myself. Nice apartment near restaurants and beach
We enjoyed our stay here during the first week of August, 2018. The AC was working great, kitchen had all basics in place and the bedding was comfortable.
The apartment is on the ground floor, facing the pool. I felt very safe as the windows had rolling metal shades (controlled from inside). A note on those: they cannot be pulled all the way up, as they get locked in the hood. So, when opening them, leave them down a few inches. These were very helpful to keep out the heat and for privacy as well.
There is no dedicated parking, but there were plenty of spots on the street in front of the building.
I would suggest adding small things like towel hooks or bars in bathrooms and adding full width shower door/curtain in master bathroom. The bathroom floor was soaked after each shower and there was no where to dry our towels other than outside or on dining room chairs. Also, we had an ironing board but no iron. That would have helped 😳.
I was also taken aback by the fact that the property manager waited until my day of arrival to tell me that my 50% deposit payment never went through from 3 months before. They asked that I pay in full on day of arrival, which I did. I have yet to confirm with my credit card company if that was the case. I was advised by the property manager to contact them for a refund if they made a mistake.
I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again, if they put in a shower curtain :)
