We have just returned from a relaxing stay in Villa Richard with its large pool and beautiful gardens. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children.

The villa is situated in a quiet location surrounded by similar villas, a beautiful area to stay in. A short taxi ride will take you to Vilamoura Marina with it's shops, bars and restaurants.

The owners, Mr and Mrs Palma, genuinely want you to enjoy your holiday and they do all they can to ensure that you do. A wonderful stay.

Further to my review in 2016, it was a real pleasure coming back to Villa Richard after a 3 year gap. The villa has not really changed, which is a good thing and it has retained its rustic charm and character and the place is ideal for my 2 teenagers who spent most of the time in the bigger than average pool. The location and the tranquility of the location is exactly what we require, with easy access to the marina, a 5 minute cab ride, local shops and restaurants.

I also have to mention the owners Mr & Mrs Palma, who were a joy to deal with and Mr Palma came to the villa every morning to clean out the pool and power wash the patio area.

This is our destination villa in Portugal, so will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a wonderful 14 days spent in the beautiful Vilamoura at Villa Richard. The Villa is fantastic, it’s comfortable, spacious and extremely clean, the cleaner comes twice a week to clean and change bedding and towels. It has a big pool which my children spent most of their day, this is cleaned every morning before we got up,also beautiful gardens overlooking other stunning villas in this quiet setting.

Mr and Mrs Palma could not do enough for us, even taking us to the nearest supermarket on our first morning and were on the other end of the telephone if we needed them.

Vilamoura itself is beautiful with lots of restaurants and bars within a 10 min drive and a good base for exploring all there is to offer nearby. The highlight of our holiday was going on a boat trip to see the dolphins.

We will definitely be returned to Villa Richard next year.

We stayed at Villa Richard in July 2018 (four adults plus one three year old). When we arrived, we were met by Mr and Mrs Palma who were very friendly and helpful. The villa was clean - Mr Palma came every morning at 8am to clean the pool and veranda. The gardens were very beautiful, well kept and child friendly. It was a twenty minute walk to the marina or you could get a taxi for about 5 Euros. The villa is located in a particularly good location if you are a golfer as there are three courses within a few minutes' drive. We would definitely come again.
