My Oporto House is part of a restored building dated 1850, which is classified by UNESCO as World Heritage!

It's located in the heart of historic Oporto city centre, in Douro riverside quarter known as Ribeira, surrounded by the most beautiful and important sights of the city like Palace of Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace), S João Novo Palace, Dom Fernando Wall, S Francisco Church, Palace of Arts, Hard Club, Douro and Port Wines Institute, House of Henry - The Navigator, Ribeira riverside area, Dom Luis I Eiffel bridge and Port Wine Cellars.

In this quarter, you can stroll around the narrow twisting streets, enjoy the colorful facades of the houses, once painted once tiled, taste the most tipical food in busy 'tascas' or restaurants or take party in one of the most lively bars in Ribeira or 'Galerias de Paris'!

Despite its prime location, the house is situated in a very quiet and silent place, so the guests can have a good nights!

Outside the apartment, within walking distance there is a Bus stop, a Taxi terminal, a Porto Tram City Tour stop, a Bus City Tour stop, Guindais funicular, Douro's boat cruises, a Car park, Shops, Supermarket, a Police Station, a Municipal Tourism Office, Restaurants, Bars all you need in one place!

The apartment is 20 minutes by car from Sá Carneiro Airport and five minutes walking distance from train and Metropolitan Station San Bento.

Host very responsive and attentive.Location central. You're in a busy area, expect some late, outside noise.Esthetics over function, perhaps. Nowhere to sit any toiletries in the bathroom.

The host Isabel welcomed us upon arrival and helped us to settle in. She also provided us with a great driver Andre from airport to the room and then later a trip to Douro valley for a wine tour. Five stars

Very comfortable stay central to the old town historic district. A great place to begin exploring Porto. Isabel was very helpful arranging experiences for us and even a driver to/from the apartment. Only downside was the heat seemed to be under repair during our stay, but Isabel left us with a room heater. There is a luggage locker right next door, lavanderia (laundry) just a few steps down the hill if you need to dry clothes. And all the restaurants and sights you could want within walking distance. Right down the hill is the Duoro River. We were sad to leave.

Our host was outstanding--provided excellent local information as well as options for additional excursions and services. The unit was just like the pictures and near lots of restaurants and local sites. It was a great base for our exploration of Porto.

This is a beautiful and well-appointed studio apartment in the heart of the old town in Porto. The host is extremely helpful and quick to provide lots of information on the area, restaurants and things to do. We loved our stay! We arranged a wonderful day tour of the Douro Valley and transportation through our host. There is even a secure luggage storage location next door to this flat. Things could not have been easier for our stay.

Perfect spot, perfect host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - perfect location for walking to so many Porto sites but the best part was how helpful Isabel was in arranging tours, making suggestions and caring for us to whatever extent we wanted. We highly recommend this apartment!

Sweet apartment in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Porto from this beautiful apartment! The flat was spotless, superbly maintained, presents as pictured, and comments by others are accurate. It is on the second floor for those with mobility issues, with a quaint view up a cobbled street and the peaks of Palacio da Bolsa in the other direction. Many restaurants are in the area and Costa bakery, for my favourite pastel de nata, is up the hill. It is an easy walk downhill to the spectacular Douro River waterfront.Isabel was as wonderful as others have said and regularly checked in on us. She provided a great overview of the area with suggestions that we enjoyed. Thank you, Isabel!

A Gem in the Heart of Porto

We loved this property. The location, the decor and amenities.The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need, and we utilised it to make dnner on a couple of occasions. Given our stay in Portugal was for a month the in suite washing machine was very handy.Our host Isabel was fantastic. She was very prompt in responding to our queries. Due to a train strike we were forced to take a bus from Lisbon. Isabel very graciously arranged a driver to pick us up at the bus station and drive us to the apartment.Isabel was waiting for us. She took the time and great care to show us around the apartment and then showed us a local tourist map and walked us through the sites , circling landmarks and restaurants making notes for us. This was certainly helpful in the coming days of our week long stay.The complimentary bottle of Port was greatly appreciated.She also coninued to follow up throughout our stay, suggesting tours and restaurants and to ensure everything was satisfactoryAll in all a terrific week in a beautiful centrally located apartment, made even better by a professional and friendly host.

Porto Vacation

The property was great! Often the pictures of the property looks better in VRBO than they are but this property was accurate and did not disappoint. It was very nice with nice furnishings and supplies and clean. The hostess is wonderful, very helpful, quick to respond and one of the best I have ever dealt with!It’s in a great location too. I highly recommend staying.

Concierge included

Although we had rain, our stay was filled with memories due to the detailed planning of Isabelle. The accommodations were wonderful. The most comfortable of the many high end hotels we chose following Porto. The location was easy to navigate from on foot and of course Isabelle even provided an umbrella.

Fabulous Stay

Isabel is a wonderful, gracious host and she gives helpful information regarding the area with things to do and places to eat. She was easy to reach in case we had questions. Her place is spotless and very comfortable, right in the heart of it all. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Lovely flat in downtown Porto

Great place to stay to explore Porto. Not too far from the metro and train stations as well if you want to explore further abroad.Isabel is a fantastic host. She met us at the apartment and gave us some great recommendations in the areas as well for things to see and nearby restaurants.

A must stay!

This apartment was perfect! It was steps away from the Douro River and lots of restaurants and sights. Isabel welcomed us and spent a lot of time recommending things to do - complete with a map!). She sent multiple texts with other wonderful recommendations for how to experience Porto! Very communicative! Lived it!!!

Amazing Experience!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with not only the home but the host. She absolutely made our stay more special than anywhere we've ever stayed. Ahead of our arrival and after our booking she stayed in communication and recommended many places and things to do during our stay. She personally met us at the home upon check-in and brought a map and identified many places worthy of a visit. Anytime I reached out during our stay she responded immediately. She is a wonderful person and has a passion for this area. The room is as advertised and is beautiful. Wonderful location near the river and so much shopping and many restaurants, all in walking distance. Don't hesitate to book this home! It's an experience we will never forget!
