Beautifully renovated historic home in a great location

There were no reviews on this house when I booked it so I was taking a bit of a chance. Turns out it was a new vrbo listing as of June 2017. I am so happy that I took the chance. The house is very charming and beautifully decorated with local art and quilts. The location is great--walking distance to the grocery store and a couple of shops/cafes AND the backyard looks right on the ocean which is steps away. We saw many whale spouts and backs from the house and yard. Luke was a pleasure to meet and work with. I highly recommend this rental.

              Beautiful home in amazing location!

My family of two parents and two adult siblings spent two nights at the Spurrell's home, and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is beautifully updated, well equipped and very comfortable (even the fold out couch was comfy to sleep on!). The location on a gorgeous quiet beach is incredible, and we were entertained by melting icebergs washing up along the shore as well as one whale (minke?) passing through the cove. We also loved the nearby town of Trinity, as well as exploring up the coast to see the puffins in Elliston (easily viewable in the mornings and evenings). Our stay at Spurrell's heritage home was a definite highlight of our trip. Thank you so much, Dustin!
