Great location!

4 of 5
Our family of 5 recently stayed at this villa in lovely Abaco. As many others have stated, the villa could use some TLC, with some cosmetic work (paint peeling off the walls) and some minor repairs, but we felt as though the price compensates for the minor issues. The wifi was spotty but that is more of an island problem than a villa problem. 75% of the time it works. The villa is steps away from the pool and the beach which is absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is well equipped and this was important as we ate in most nights. If you are looking for a great island and an affordable villa, this would be a good choice. Our only recommendation - make sure to bring the cash you want to spend as the ATM did not work the majority of the time and some little shops do not accept credit cards or debit cards. Be sure to stop by the ceramics shop on your way in or out of town!

One of the best villas available!

5 of 5
We've stayed at Treasure Cay countless times over the years, always in the Beach Villas which are the best due to the proximity to the beautiful beach and the incredible (heated) pool (free to guests of the villas). The Beach villas come also with amenities such as a laundry and a water station which come in handy when staying a week or longer. There is a phenomenal housekeeping and grounds staff who are responsive and kind should any needs arise. This Villa is truly one of the most well-maintained villas we've ever encountered. The towels are nicer than mine at home. The beds are comfortable. The house feels clean. The kitchen is well stocked. Both bathrooms have been recently renovated and are lovely. There is a nice umbrella on the patio with seating so you can enjoy morning coffee or tea for hours. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive. We had an internet issue when we arrived and she jumped right on it- generously purchasing a new modem for the house so we wouldn't go a day without connectivity. The reality of island living means that power goes on and off from time to time, but that can serve as a nice reminder of the remote nature of your location. We rented bikes each week and rode to various beautiful locations- the scenery is breathtaking in every direction. The greatest thing about Treasure Cay is that there is very little 'to do' there in terms of tourist types of activities so you busy yourself with just being and seeing. The beauty is so deep there that you can spend your life seeing something new every day. This Villa is a great cradle at the end of a long day adventuring - or a place to rest your head while a quick storm passes- just to leave a rainbow in it's wake. You won't be sorry you came to Treasure Cay- and this villa doesn't disappoint either.
